The blind rep. did all the measuring and had all of the samples.  I needed the blinds for 7 windows in my home.  I had previously spoke to her about the price which she quoted me as being usually $150.00 per room for windows, but for me she would do it at a discount of $150.00 for the visit.  Because she was giving me her cost on the blinds.
There would also be an additional $150.00 to make sure of the outcome.  I called her on the phone to say that I thought this was out of line, I thought she told me at that time that she would just charge me $50.00.   I received a invoice later for $150.00, when I emailed her about the invoice, I received a call telling me that I misunderstood.  I don't feel that she even needed to be at the appt. the rep and I pretty much made all of the decisions.  I think a referral fee would have been more appropriate. 

The payment option that I took was to give her a flat amount. She has come over when I have question, checked various stores for the kinds of things I am looking for, but, I can shop myself. She also suggests places where I can go to get the work done within my budget.
