HORRIBLE SERVICE, TOOK WAY TOO LONG TO COMPLETE WORK. I spoke to Will, the dispatcher, about a week and a half before the cleaning, and informed him that I needed a complete move-out cleaning with every single thing removed from the house. He told me that, with the optional stove and fridge cleaning, it would come to a total of $180, which seemed a bit high but okay if they did a good job. The day of the cleaning, Angela ( the first cleaner ) showed up 30 minutes late ( was supposed to be there at 9, showed up around 9:45 ). I let her in and noticed that she brought almost no cleaning products with her. I had to get to work so I gave Angela a list of the all the things that had to be cleaned and removed from the property so that the apartment complex would refund my security deposit. Around 1:30pm that afternoon I received a call that she was done and was leaving. Around 2:30ish I was able to get free from work to go review the job Angela had done. Upon entering the condo, I noticed that none of the trash had been removed from the premises, but merely bagged up and left in corners. I should point out that Angela was probably in her early 60s or older, and honestly was probably not able to move all of those bags herself. I don't blame her, I blame Will and the Deluxe Maids management for sending one elderly person to clean my condo. I also noticed that there was still items left in almost all of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen, which I told Angela to remove and throw out ( my exact words were that "everything left in this condo is trash and needs to be thrown out" ). I noticed that there was a large pile of kitty litter in a corner, like she had moved a container, spilling it all over the floor and didn't bother vacuuming it up. I proceeded to call Will and explain that the job was not complete, not that that mattered as Deluxe Maids had already taken the $180 out of my bank account the night before. Will seemed to have some sort of learning disability, as I had to explain the situation to him multiple times before he seemed to "get it". He said he would send somebody back out the next day to complete the job, but kept saying that he would send Angela back out ( even though she was the person that couldn't complete the job in the first place ). After almost having to get in a yelling match with Will, he explained that the next day he would send a younger, more able person to complete the work that should have been completed on day 1. He said that he would only charge $25 per hour for the 2nd days worth of work, and provide the first hour of that work for free. Day 2 I got a call from my apartment complex at about 9:45 am again ( apparently these employees are incapable of making appointments on time ) saying that Amanda had just picked up the key from them, and was heading over to start cleaning. Around 1:30pm I called Will to get an update on how the cleaning was going, and he informed me that Amanda had put in 4 hours of work already, had skipped her lunch, and still had at least another hours worth of work to do. This is laughable, as all that was left to do was take the existing trash down a flight of steps and throw it in a dumpster about 10 feet from the bottom of the steps. I truly don't understand how it could have taken more than an hour or two to complete all of this, but somehow it took Amanda 5 hours. I still have not been over to the condo to inspect there work to verify that the job was actually completed this time, as there is a polar vortex storm warning in effect with wind chills likely to exceed -20 degrees below zero. I received a text from Will at 3:25pm who said that Amanda had completed 5 hours of work today, and Angela had completed 3.75 hours of work the day prior. So all in all, it took 2 employees 9 hours to remove what would amount to a large living rooms amount of trash out of a condo and toss it into a dumpster. Will informed me that on top of the original $180 that they had taken out of my account before doing one minutes worth of work, they were going to be charging me an additional $85 so that somebody could come complete the job that should have been finished the first day. This is laughably the worst cleaning service I have ever used. I would never recommend these people to anybody, except if they wanted to waste money and time, and have a barely-passable cleaning job done. 17 out of 100 1 star out of 5
