I am very happy with them. We are fairly price conscious. We had a tree come down in a storm and they came out the next day. We continue to use them. We have been with them for a few years.

We have a fairly large lawn. We have been using him intermittently, but he is who I primarily use now. If he able to, he responds immediately.

The experience has been terrible from beginning to end and shouldn't be that difficult with a landscaper hired for an easy task. I recently purchased a home and have a number of updates that I''m completing prior to moving in. One such update was to remove the leaves and overgrowth from the property. I contacted Delgado's and they provided a quote for $350 to remove all leaves and overgrowth. As I don't live in the house Delgado's wanted me to be there during the work so they could receive payment at the time of completion. The agreed upon date was Saturday April 12 at 9:00 AM. By 10:00 AM I had not heard from Delegado's so I sent a text asking where they were at. I received a response that he would be there in 5 minutes. I'm disappointed that the project is going to be an hour late starting but it was a nice day and I could find stuff to do at this house that I'm not living in.
Delgado's rolled up and parked their trailer pretty close to my neighbor's house, which I thought was odd until the crew started working at my neighbors house. The owner walked over to me and said they just had a little bit of work at my neighbors house and it would take just about 20 minutes before they started at my house. Delgado's then asked how I would be paying to which I advised via check. The owner said since it was a Saturday he needed cash so he could pay his labor that day. I agreed to go to the bank to get cash even though every prior conversation payment via check was acceptable.
Jump ahead to 2:15 PM, five hours and fifteen minutes after the clean up was supposed to begin, and Delgado's finally started on my yard. At 2:45 PM the owner approached me and said it's too windy for the leaves, that his trailer was filling up (from all the leaves picked up at the neighbors house) and also his brother just arrived in town from Chicago and he'd like to go see him. I then provided the owner $200 for the work performed by the two laborers that had put in 30 minutes each on my yard and we agreed that I would send a check for the balance ($150) once the work was complete. The owner then asked if he could leave his trailer in my driveway and come back Sunday, or at the latest Monday, to finish up. I said that was fine and also walked around the yard with the owner pointing out the items that still needed attention and we also discussed additional work that I asked Delgado's to quote if interested. Despite all the red flags regarding promptness, ability to finish a job once started, insistence on cash payment, etc. I was still giving the owner the benefit of the doubt.
Delgado's did not show up on Sunday or Monday as promised. Tuesday passed and nobody. On Wednesday I received a text from the owner stating they were wrapped up and he thought my father was there and was wondering if he had cash to pay them with. I advised the owner that payment would come from me and I'd send a check as we agreed upon. In the meantime I received a phone call that the landscapers showed up for about 30 minutes and left. Prior to sending the check I went to the property to ensure it was cleaned up as we agreed. It wasn't, or otherwise I wouldn't be spending part of my weekend typing this review.
I sent the owner photos and an explanation of what needed to be complete still. The job wasn't even close to completion. If it was even borderline complete I would have sent a check and found another landscaper to finish what Delgado's failed to. Despite all the failings to this point I still wouldn't have taken the time to write a review if it wasn't for what happened next. The owner sent a text asking for his check and I said I wasn't paying until the agreed upon work was complete. The owner then sent me a text stating he would be and quot;back to dump all leaves to ur houseand quot;. There wouldn't be much to dump because he didn't pick anything up but i guess that's besides the point. I then responded via text and quot;I'm trying to pay you for the work that was agreed upon and the way you wish to resolve is to dump leaves on my lawn. Problem is I already paid you $200, which is about $150 more than what was deserved for the 30 minutes of work you spent at my house. Dump a single leave on my lawn and I'll see you in court.and quot; The response from the owner was then and quot;If u don't want problems, just send me my check, because already clean ur yardand quot;.
I take the last comment from the owner of Delgado's landscaping as a threat. I don't know the owner or what he's capable of. So finally, when this entire experience came to a threat, over $150, I decided it was time to write a review and document my experience. My next steps are to determine whether the police need to be informed due to the threat, and I still need to locate a landscaper to finish the project.

After having a bad previous experience with a landscape company it was a pleasure to work with Emilio. He was very prompt with his communications and estimate. He showed up to do the work when he said he would and all work was done in an efficient and professional manner.
There were, as is usually the case, a couple glitches. Emilio took the time to explain these and took care of them without hesitation.
Emilio and his crew were a pleasure to have at our home and a pleasure to work with. His pricing was very reasonable and his work is of high quality. I have had him do a couple of other small jobs since the original work and was very satisfied.
I would highly recommend him!

They are very punctual and reliable. The only thing is their heavy duty lawn equipment is h****** our back lawn. When they make sharp turns (again the lawn is small) it is leaving tears in the grass. The tears are now multiple and is giving the back yard a poorer appearance.
