Custom Comfort Spray Foam Insulation

They did a good job. It was great. My mother had no problems with them. She said that they were very personable. With regard to price, my mother didn’t complain about it.

James reviewed my crawl space for quotation of spray foaming side walls to header plate.  He recommended what I should do to prepare the area including a referral for heavy duty vapor barrier and how to attach this to the walls.  He had trouble getting a 50 amp breaker to fit my odd ball sylvania breaker box and special ordered one for himself (no charge to me) to get the job done.  He arrived on time and had an equipment failure on day one that delay the job 3 days.  I was ticked.  He returned in 3 days as promised and did the job in top notch fashion.  With his help and recormmendations I now have an encapsulted crawl and saw a 25 to 30% reduction in my winter heating bill with an all electric heat pump/furnace system.  Also, my normally damp crawl is now bone dry and warm to within 5 degrees of the internal household temp setting.  I added value to my home and am saving money on heat (and hopefully AC this Summer) everyday.

Jason was contacted by our tiling contractor to insulate the walls of the shower stall before adding backer board and tiles. The job was a small one, and the Bloomington spray foam contractor wouldn't do the work because of minimum job requirements. Custom Comfort also has minimum job requirements, but were able to fit this job into their schedule, for which we were grateful. Jason drove down from Greenwood, and completed the work in one morning. He was neat, and the job was well done and priced as estimated. The only odd thing was that he left all of the foam shavings for us to dispose of, which consisted of half a dozen trash bags. I would hate to see the trimmings from a larger job - and would want to clarify the foam disposal prior to a larger job.

We contacted Jason about getting spray foam insulation put in our basement - we were about to start a full remodel and needed to start the project with the insulation. He showed up on time for the estimate and gave us a ballpark of what it would cost. We decided to go ahead and hire him and he was able to accommodate our schedule and come out within a few days. Another guy actually did the spraying of the foam, but he did a good job. It was actually pretty cool to watch! Heatlok Soy is the name of the product that is the foam. It seems very durable and is supposed to be much more advanced and efficient vs regular insulation. Overall we are very happy with the outcome.
