He was really good. He looked at the problem and said, "the problem is nothing," so he went and got up a fuse and that was it. He knew what he was doing, the dryer has two fuses and I didn't know that. He was very good and quick and do right away with what's wrong, took care of it and was gone. He's a very pleasant person.

Upon calling Cumberland Appliance repair, Mr. Dick was able to come out immediately within 30 minutes of us contacting Cumberland Appliance repair. Mr. Dick immediately identified the problem, the starter switch was bad in our refrigerator, and he came prepared with a new starter switch. Before we contacted Cumberland Appliance our refrigerator was making a clicking
noise and the freeze side wasn't cold and thawed out. Since the repair the freezer side is cold and the clicking sound have stopped.
Kudos to Cumberland Appliance repairs!
Thank you,
Robert Hampton

Cumberland Appliance Repair responded almost immediately to our call and the same day fixed our refrigerator. There was a loose wire in the freezer that was causing the freezer to "freeze" up. They were very honest and checked the entire refrigerator system out. After fixing that loose wire, we have not had another issue with our refrigerator!

He wasn't sure he had the part on the first call. The oven is 35 years old! He said he would search his stock and call back.
He called back a day later and said he had the part and would be out the next day to install it.

They are professional. Their price was a little high, but you get what you pay for. I will use them again in the future.

My dishwasher was not working. I called Cumberland Appliance and they sent a guy out about a week later. We had not used our dishwasher in a couple weeks when he arrived. He ran a test to see if water was flowing and it was, so he could not diagnose the problem. So he suggested we call if the problem started again. Since then, we had another appliance repair company come out to fix the problem. Without even running any water, he popped the bottom piece off which exposed a large amount of gunk which he removed and then checked the chopper, which was broken. Why the Cumberland guy couldn't have just checked the unit is a mystery to me. $69 wasted on a service call.

They were awesome! He was great. My refigerator went out and he fixed it and told us if we found that that was not the problem to call him and he would give me my money back and find the issue. I was happy with them.

The wash machine washed the clothes for the required minutes. Prior to discharging the water, the wash machine then stopped. The washer was supposed to discharge the water then go to the spin cycle in preparation for the rinse cycle. I called Cumberland Appliance Repair without getting an estimate.

I found this company on Angie's List. I washed a load of dishes and the dishwasher works without leaking. They were very pleasant and seemed like they knew what they were doing.

Mr. Lindeman made a prompt appointment with me within 1-2 days (which was just fine with me-as it was not an emergency). He arrived when he said he would, and called prior to. His manner was very professional and sort of quiet. He explained to me what was causing the leak after diagnosing the problem, and fixed it. He not only did this, but also showed me how I could fix it in the future, in order to avoid a fee to a repairman. He allowed me to take the front of the washer off and put it back on, to make sure I understood how to do this, and showed me what he used to clean out the area that caused the leak. I fully understood his explanations, and found him to be very kind and patient.

I have used him before. They came out to repair my dishwasher, and he said that he could not get the dishwasher out, and he charged me $87 just to tell me that. I bought the parts from him and then I had someone else come out and install them for me.

My refrigerator is just a little over a year old. There were two options in repairing the water dispenser flap. One was to replace the broken one if a part was available or have to replace the entire door at a cost of over $600. If it had come down to having to replace the entire door, I would have said no. The part was found and Mr. Lindeman replaced it along with digging out the base of the light bulb that had been broken from the time the refrigerator was delivered. He was, as always (I have used him many times before), polite, kind and informative.
