I have used Cook's Glass several times over 10 years to replace glass in my rental properties, and I can't recommend them highly enough. A+++! They have done everything from replacing a large picture window in a house that had been vandalized before I purchased it to this recent job, which is an upgrade I wanted to make because I have never found an applied glass frosting product (spray or film) with any longevity for a window in a bathtub surround. Their prices are excellent and their service is outstanding. Nice, knowledgeable people who are very helpful and great to work with.

It went well. . I called them on 5/5/14, within a couple of days they came out and measured the window, I okayed proceeding with ordering the replacement glass , which they did and they called to say they had received the glass and gave the total cost of replacement. We scheduled an appointment for them to come to replace the glass on 5/28/14 at 9:00am. On 5/28 they called about 9:10 am to say they were running late and would be here in 5 minutes. They took the window out and took it to their truck to replace the glass and had it back in less than a half an hour. They advised me not to clean it for a couple of days. The workers were professional and courteous.
I have used Cooks on more than one occasion in the past as I live on a golf course and have had wayward golf balls break windows. They have always provided the same prompt, professional, reasonably priced, dependable service .

They were very busy when I called and could not give me an exact date they could come out to give me an estimate. I was a little worried at first. They ended up coming out a few days later and gave us a very fair estimate. The work was completed, they cleaned up their mess, and even helped fix a window that was sticking when you tried to open it. They were great and I will use them again!!

This company is one of the few places in Indianapolis that will repair double pane windows.
I took the windows in myself and it took them about a week to get them rebuilt.
These were old windows that I didn't think anyone could or would repair. But they were able to do it for $55 each - a little pricier than I expected, but much cheaper than pulling the entire window out and replacing it.
You'll get a kick out of their cat that lays on the counter, expecting customers to pet it when you are there....
They are a great small business to support.

"Cook’s Glass & Mirror has been in business since 1950 and we stand behind our work. If we had scratched the window, we would have replaced it! The window was installed on July 22nd and she waited till Sept. 19th to call and have us come out to look at it. When the installers left the job site those scratches were not on the glass. The glass is transported on rubber racks and the glass stakes are rubber as well, so it couldn’t have been scratched on the truck as (Member) first stated. Our estimator went out to check on her complaint and could see the scratch easily from the ground without using a ladder. In our opinion, someone has scratched the bottom of the glass with a ladder or a paint scraper as if to remove paint from the glass in a back and forth motion. ( see Pictures ) The installer, who has 11 years of experience, ALWAYS tells customers the same information after each installation, to wait 3-4 DAYS before cleaning the window for the silicone to set up, not 4-6 weeks as stated by (Member). The glass was also cleaned by the installer after installation. If she noticed the scratches prior to painting the window, why not contact us then before going to the trouble of painting it knowing that it will need to be replaced? We did not install a scratched piece of glass in (Member)’s window. This is my reputation of 61 years in business on the line and she is calling me a liar. We have taken responsibility for a lot of our mistakes over the years, and do so at no cost to the customer. This is not our mistake. Sincerely, Mr. Cook"

My oldest cat can open the door letting himself out and my other two cats which are suppose to stay in which prompted the latch repair. The screen door is over 20 years old and parts were hard to find. They were able to locate what was needed to complete the repair. I am very satisfied with the workmanship and how I was treated.

They were great! I called them around 3:30 p.m. on a Friday to repair a glass pane in our door that had been broken during a burglary earlier that day. They were able to send a repairman over to take measurements, go out and get the right materials, and install the new glass all by 5:00 p.m. I was so relieved to have it fixed that afternoon and not have to worry about securing our house over the weekend. They really went out of their way to get it done on extremely short notice. Price was a little high, but it was an emergency and covered by insurance, so that wasn't really a concern.

When the original glass shattered, we tried to locate a Majestic dealer; apparently this company was purchased by Vermont Castings. Next, we tried all Vermont Castings dealers - we called dealers in Indianapolis, Brownsburg and Crawfordsville. Most of those folks offered to replace the fireplace altogether - the cost would have been way out of our budget. After getting no where, we tried Cook's. They were fast, friendly and efficient!

I just received communication from my renter that the glass replaced on the front door is not beveled and does not match the side glass windows. She called them to have them install the storm door and they said they did not take it off. Also she said they did not repair the screens on the back two doors as well. Prior to my communication with my renter, I called Cooks and they said they took care the concerns. As of today I have paid Cook's Glass $440 and I would like the glass placed with the beveled glass removed and the back patio door screens replaced. I took care of the front storm door myself.

They did a very professional job. The window first came in wrong, but they reordered it right away and had it ready for me in less than a week. I've used Cook's before, and they have always had the best price and fastest service. I highly recommend Cook's Glass and Mirror.

Installer arrived at agreed upon time to measure and provide an estimate on cost and time to receive ordered replacement glass. I did have to call them following the stated time, but, the installer scheduled for the next day and completed the service, with an assistant, at the agreed upon time and in an effecient and professional manner.
