College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving

Was super easy. They showed up on time, were super respectful, and very professional. I forget the names of who was apart of the 3 man crew but I'd hire again if I planned on moving!

I am about to have some waterproofing work done in my basement and I had a lot of stuff down there that 1. needed disposed of, 2. needed to be hauled up so we could donate it, or 3. moved away from the walls to center of the room. My wife and I weren't really looking forward to this, so I looked around and found College Hunks. I got a sales rep out the next day, estimated the work for me with both low/high prices and was able to offer to get 4 guys out, for the price of 2 that day. I decided to go with it, and a couple hours later they were out. They made fast work of the stuff I wanted disposed of with a price based on how much they were hauling away. Then they started tackling hauling stuff up that we were going to donate and getting the basement prepped for the water proofing. In 20 minutes they were done with what would have taken my wife and I probably much of the day. Definitely some of the best money I've ever spent on anything.

Well. They came and the recliner went.

Spoke with Dalton at the local franchise. Contracted for two jobs. Discovered we would be unable to be ready for the first and emailed/called to reschedule. No response, however the main office did say the franchisee indicated they left a voicemail, but we found no voicemail. Main office told me that the franchisee would contact me to discuss. Dalton did not. I've now emailed multiple times to cancel my upcoming move and get a refund of the deposit charged. Dalton will not return emails or call. Will have to dispute the credit card charge as it is well within the time frame to cancel. Have used College many times in the past. Clearly something has gone wrong, at least with this franchisee. Fortunately found an awesome alternative contractor. Will not use this outfit again.

Austin and Adrian were the two movers that provided the service. They were professional and friendly. They went right to the task and had the job completed within the expected time. I will be using College Hunks again, in a few weeks, and will request Austin and Adrian to complete the second half of our move.

I had a hard time getting other moving companies to pare down expectations for the size of the move--not the whole house, just specified items. College Hunks had no problem with this approach, and turned in the only estimate we felt was reasonable for the job. Since they charge per hour and allowed us to help move certain things (not onto the truck but at least out to the driveway) the job went faster than expected and we came in well under the estimate. They did a good, professional job moving everything with no more than minor incidents (which we expect in a move).

It was great. They were very nice guys and professional. I just showed them what needed to be hauled away and they just did it no problem. They were on time, actually 15 minutes a head of schedule. I recommended them to a couple of people.

Excellent...very professional and quick

Showed up on time. Two guys, very hard working. I thought it might take an hour but they got it done in about 20. I noticed they overcharged me and after contacting their office, that was corrected immediately with an apology. So I am happy with that.

The 2 young men, were punctual, friendly, and explained the process well. I would definitely use them again!

It was great, as always. They made quick work of taking down the shed, and loaded up the items that needed to go. They left everything neat and tidy. They explained everything thoroughly, including their policy of recycling and donating, as appropriate, and asked questions to be sure I was satisfied with their work. They never fail to impress me with their attitude and kindness, as well as efficiency.

Service was excellent! Very professional, friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about moving. Did an AWESOME job despite the rain and in the allotted time.

The reviews are correct. From the first call to arrange next day service to the excellent Dalton and C,W. I couldn't be more happy with this provider. I'm in the midst of a sudden move and am very budget conscious now. They worked with me to get the job done. Once I'm settled and weed out more things I'll call them again. I really can't say enough good things about the company as a whole or Dalton C.W. in particular.

Jeff the owner gave us quotes for both moves and the first move he was right on. I know some worry about paying by the hour but him and his crew moved and hustled the entire day. We had a lot of large heavy furniture earned their money. They wrapped everything up and put runners down on the floor. They made sure not to mark up the walls. The second move was a larger move as we had moved a lot of our stuff into storage ourselves but when moving to the new house we had them move most of it and they beat their quote by about 2 hours. Again they hustled and took care to make sure there was no damage to our walls, floors, entry way. Would definitely recommend them.

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! I requested service via their website, and was able to schedule for the same day! Chris and Dalton showed up exactly as scheduled, and were extremely professional and kind. They collaborated with me at the start to understand what they would be removing, what the cost would be; Chris and Dalton went above and beyond to help me in every way possible! They hauled away everything and even swept out the garage after!
