My only hesitation on writing a review for them is that people will find out how good they are and they will get too busy !!
I have several OLD vehicles and I take them to Coleman Auto for every repair. I have never been disappointed. They are honest, professional, fairly priced and competent.

They got me in quickly and got it done quickly. They were recommended by a friend who is very knowledgeable about cars. If he recommends them, I figured they would do a good job. They did a great job, they are close to home and the work was done at a fair price.

I have used Coleman 3 times so far and have excellent experiences each time and within my budget - and now I have found out all my neighbors have always used them!

I took the car to Coleman's and dropped it off after hours for the mechanic to look at the next day. I was called in the afternoon and he said that the transmission needed rebuilt or replaced. They don't rebuild transmissions but recommended another company's rebuilt transmissions that they can get and install. The price was more than I could afford, so I found another company on Angie's List that had great reviews for rebuilding transmissions. Coleman's has worked on our vehicles before and I would recommend them for any other work. Very professional and honest. They really have your best interest in mind and they didn't mind when I couldn't afford what they could do. Another great benefit, they didn't charge me for the inspection and advice. Very helpful overall and I will use them again.

They were professional and quick to respond. They finished the work the day I dropped it off. I couldn't pick the car up the day they finished, so I asked if they could garage it overnight, and I would pick it up the next day. They agreed.

I thought they did a good job. They got the car in, they worked quickly, and it was ready when they said it would be.

Initially took the car to Coleman because they were recommended here as specializing in transmission work. As a former mechanic, I don't trust most mechanics to actually do all the diagnostic work to pinpoint the single problem and fix only that problem. Typically there can be two or three causes for the same symptom. Most mechanics will guess at the most likely cause, but if that doesn't fix it, then they go to the next most likely cause. The customer ends up paying for alll parts and labor for two or three things when they really only needed one. I thought that this would be the case at Coleman, but it was still a littlle similar. He did a transmission flush and filter change and said he didn't see any other problem. For the next three days when driving the truck, the transmission would overheat and s*** transmission fluid out the dipstick tube onto the exhaust manifold and it smoke and stink. Took it back to Coleman. He said that stuck shift solenoids could cause this problem, but there was no way to determine which one was sticking and there are five. Also since the truck was so old and most of the cost of this repair was the labor to open the transmission that it made sense to replace all five. I agreed and the work was finished in one day. Ultimately the car is fixed and has been working OK since then, but I was hoping for a little more initial diagnostic work to be ensured that I wouldn't have to return a second time.

Mr. Coleman from Coleman Auto Repair Service Cars center does most of the work. He is very knowledgeable. He is very professional. Their charges are very reasonable. The work is done promptly. They are easy to get an appointment with. They do very good work. I would continue to use their services in the future.

Diagnosed automatic transmission problem in a Honda Civic and changed transmission oil in a Honda Civic and Honda CR-V. The Civic was $99.00 and the CR-V was $59.00.

They are very good. They try to accommodate you on the day and time that you can bring in your car. They will also check the tires free of charge. I will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Automatic transmission was shifting roughly due to a defective pressure control solenoid. Coleman replaced this part ( a procedure requiring about six and a half hours of labor). My car has been shifting smoothly ever since. They were very professional people to deal with.

On the work that we have done there, and we have been there 5 or 6 times, they never gone over an estimate. We never had to wait a long time for a part. It's just one of those places, that you normally would not think of, but they have been there for about 10 years. They know that there survival depends on them being honest and they are. We have never had to take anything back because it was not fixed right.

They found an unplugged wire leading to the on board computer on the first day and changed the spark plugs. They next morning they took the car out for a second test run and it stalled. They re-checked the computer and found gaskets that needed replaced. I had them replace the gaskets. It runs like new now. They were very professional.

They were excellent and extremely kind. They did things beyond what I'd asked because they saw the car needed it but they didn't charge me extra. I can't recommend them enough.

When I had my oil changed at Master Express they told me I had a transmission leak. I contacted Danny Coleman and made an appointment to have him check it out. His assistant, Larry, was the one who helped me when I brought it in. In a matter of minutes he told me it was only a leak in a hose and not a major problem. He recommended that I get it fixed, but there was no rush. It would only take about an hour. After I made arrangements for transportation to and from work, I made an appointment to bring the car in for repair. I was able to drop the car off on my way to work before they opened (they have a key drop box) and picked it up on my way home. Danny is sometimes hard to get a hold of because he is frequently out getting parts, but on the whole I was very pleased with the service.

Great! Well, except for the timing of the cost which has nothing to do with Danny or the work performed. I am very pleased the work performed. When I first stopped in Danny greeted me and asked a few questions about the behavior of the 4WD. He explained how the components send information back and forth and had some ideas of what could be wrong. He was able to get the truck in a few days later and followed up with the diagnosis and cost involved. One thing that was out of his control was the shift motor that he received was bad and another one had to be ordered. Danny ended up confirming the old shift motor was still good and used it. I'll go back in and have the new one put in. It certainly wasn't an inexpensive repair, but I've had transmission work done at other shops and will definitely go back to Coleman.

Wonderful working with folks who have such a helpful attitude. They really are there to solve problems and help me.
