The process was very smooth. Scott, our contact there, led us through the process to get our insurance involved to help pay for some of the new roof/gutters. The roofing team started early in the morning and finished up by around 5 in the evening. a few days later the gutter guys came out and installed our new gutters on the house. Everything was well done and looks great.

We had purchansed a coupon from Angie's list for a roof inspection and check since our home is about 8 years old. Cochran exteriors came and checked and reported that the roof was in good shape. They got on the roof and spent about 15 mins checking things out.

The inspection was very professional and the service provided was what I expected.

Due to so many repairs due to storms. It took longer than i would have liked. However I couldn't have been more pleased with the sales reps and the efficiency when the roofing team came. They were quick and cleaned everything up in lightening speed. my only disappointment was that there was no final review of the project by a company rep. Would recommend without hesitation though.

The company never followed through with any response after inspecting the job. If they do not do this kind of work, that is OK, I would simply have appreciated them saying so.

I was impressed with the honesty of the guy who came out. He took pictures and told me what I needed done. I will call him when I need to have any roof work done.

At this point all was going great and we were very happy with our experience with Cochran (even though we did not receive photos or a written report), especially since they alerted us to the problem and assisted the adjuster in arriving at a fair settlement. During the course of these inspections of the roof, however, we discovered that there had been water damage on our front porch and we wanted to get that repaired before the roof was done, or at least at the same time as the roof replacement. Up to this time we had never received a proposal from Cochran or any idea of what they would charge -- we were told that we would wait until we had received the estimate on the porch from their people who did porch work and then we would sit down and go over all the costs. The Cochran representative said he would have their framers or "porch people" contact us and then we could coordinate the whole project. We could not work out a satisfactory time for an inspection with the first framer who called, which we reported to Cochran. They said that would not be a problem and we were told that a second framer would call within a few days and then we could move forward as before. This whole process -- from the initial inspection to when we were told a second framer would call -- took approximately a month. Several days passed and we did not hear from the second framer. We thought he might be busy and decided to wait a few more days. We never heard from the second framer and frankly lost track of when he was supposed to call, but we assumed the Cochran representative would be calling to follow up and see if the second framer had contacted us and what he had told us. Cochran never called, never followed up and now, over two months later, we have never heard from Cochran again. This is very surprising since we assumed Cochran would do the work and it seemed that their representative intended that also. It is true we could have called them and told them the second framer never called, but we were so certain of their interest in the project and their professionalism, that we just let the time get away from us and then the length of time that had passed made Cochran's commitment to the project seem unexpectedly disappointing. In the intervening two months, we contacted two other companies and have arrived at an agreement with another company to get the work done. We owe Cochran thanks for pointing out the problem and helping us reach an agreement with our insurance company, and Cochran's representative seemed very knowledgeable and anxious to do the job, but, in the end, we feel they really dropped the ball and did not follow up on the dealings with the framers in a way that inspired confidence on their ability to follow through on the whole project. It was a good job/bad job situation and left us puzzled and disappointed.

.Job started out fine with the company contacting me immediately after purchasing the coupon. Joel, who scheduled the initial inspection, had to cancel at the last minute and reschedule. Finally, it was done, and contract signed on Wed,June 20th. On Friday night June 22nd, at 6:45PM, some stranger knocks on my door, unannounced, or scheduled by Cochrane to say he is there to fix my roof. I was not happy that it was so late on a Friday evening for a service call. This "laborer" told me he had come by before, had tried to call, but there was no evidence of that on caller ID, or a business card left in the door. We scheduled a time for the next day, and he came by. I spoke to him as he approached the house with his ladder and he asked me something to the effect like "And what are we doing today?" I said, "What? You don't know why you are here?"..he muttered a few words and I said I would go in to get the contract.Came out with it, read and showed it to him. He seemed puzzled, shrugged and then he pulled some shingles out of his truck that appeared to be the wrong color, so he had to go pick up other shingles. After returning I noticed him going up to the roof with his tools, shingles, but no new stack or boot. He came down later with the old one, and assured me that he replaced it with a new one. LONG story short, I could see it wasn't done properly, from the other side of the roof. That was June 26th. I called Cochrane on the 27th to come out and inspect it. After several attempts, unanswered calls, emails, days gone by etc, I was told that this same "laborer" would be out JULY 14TH... A Saturday, which I approved because I wanted it over with. HE WAS A NO SHOW..NO PHONE CALLS, NO APOLOGIES...Then the next Wednesday (after no word from Cochrane regarding the missed appt on Sat), I get an email that the work was done. I work out my home office and knew no one had been there. I asked when it was done and this is the response I got "I am not sure. I just saw it on our project sheet that it was complete. I usually do not communicate directly with the laborers (his word, not mine). Our production manager handles that." I wrote back that I needed to speak to the production manager and she never called me back.Several, calls, emails, etc and it is still not done. Finally, the inspector,Joel, did come out , (Mon, July 24th, and said I was right, he did not do it properly. He did apologize and I told him we were leaving town for two weeks and I wanted it done b/4 we left. He assured me that the same person would not be doing the work. At 1:51PM on Friday, 27th I was told they would be there Fri, between 5-6...At that point, the message came too late. I asked them to schedule a date the week of August 13th because we were leaving town and I DID NOT WANT ANYONE AT MY HOUSE WHILE I WAS GONE. I got no response back, and leave town, getting a call from my daughter who was startled by a guy who walked around the back of our house, as she sat on the deck, at 7PM on a Monday night. ( I came to find out it was the same guy). .But,.she had NO IDEA WHO HE WAS OR WHY HE WAS THERE. She said he was making all these excuses as to why he wasn't there earlier, etc. She was unable to reach me, so she allowed him to come back the next day to do the job. After returning, I got an invoice with a small discount before they even inspected the job. Wed, August 15th, Joel came out to inspect the work and after seeing photo's I accepted the job as complete. It was, without a doubt, the most unprofessional, unapologetic, company I have ever dealt with in 32 years of being a homeowner. IT WAS MENTAL ABUSE...I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM AND AM SORRY THAT I WASTED MY SUMMER TRYING TO GET A STACK REPLACED...

I thought they were very professional and he did some minor shingle adjustments. I would use this company in the future!

I have contacted Cochran several times to obtain a quote for services. After 2 months of trying to receive a quote I have yet to receive one. I initially contacted them in early July for a quote and they had a man out in a few days. He said he would get a quote to us within the week via email and after three weeks of waiting, we still received nothing. In early August, I contacted them again and confirmed they had my correct email address. They sent another man out to perform the quote, and as of August 29th, i still have not received a quote. I am disappointed because they had an A grade from Angie's list subscribers, so i thought this was a sure bet. At this point i am looking for another service provider.

Cochran Exteriors was really great! Justin Satterwhite, our rep, was very timely, professionaland took time to explain the process. They even came back out to remedy one small issue with the roof/gutters after they finished and it only took me one phone call to make it happen. I would definitely recommend Cochran Exteriors!

Very easy to schedule and we were happy with the service.

Was punctual and no roof repairs were needed after the inspection.

My insurance is All State and I asked him about them and they said they work with them and they are good. They showed up right when they said they would. He seemed to be very knowledgable. I plan on using them to replace my roof.

I bought an Angies List Big Deal for this company.Their sales person contacted me very quickly, came out walked around on the roof, filled 3 nail holes, looked at the issues, took picx and said he would get back with me. I have called several times, and spoken to the rep Scott Langford, he always said he would get back with me with an estimate, but neverdid. I wrote a negative report and Chase did get back with me. He came out and apologized and gave me a refund. I am happy because of this.

Chase with Cochran Exteriors called me and made the appointment to come out within a couple days of my purchasing the Roof Inspection deal for $49. I thought that was pretty good. He was on time and came equipped to inspect the roof and an area inside of the home. With his inspection, he took pictures then handed me his report. Chase was very polite and professional and made me aware of a few minor things that could be done resulting in some savings. Our shingles on the roof looked fairly good for at least another 5 years depending on how bad the weather gets between now and then, so I'll be keeping watch on that. I plan to use Cochran Exteriors when that time comes because Chase's knowledge and experience came through during the assessment. I really think they would do a great job. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I learned a little bit along the way .

The roof of our rental house needed some minor repair and had loose and maybe cracked shingles. I checked the Angies list and found this company highly rated. So I purchased a special deal for roof spring tune-up. We did all communication via email. The roof was inspected and fixed promptly as a part of spring tune-up deal.

Serviceman very friendly, professional and prompt. Performed minor repair at no charge. Indicated that no roof repair or replace was necessary at this time--very honest.

They were on time for the estimate with the insurance company, the only negative was that they were on our roof and we didn't know they were coming that day. They did a great job & fast & efficient.

Scott did a outstanding job & was on time. kept us informed of any problem & taking care of it.

Chase and Jonathan, and their crews were always punctual, professional, and polite. Clean-up was very thorough. The price and finished work was very good. It is always safer working with an established company like Cochran that will always be there in the future. ( Years ago, my mother was contracted by a shady company that undercut the competion. The parent company went bankrupt and left a dumpster parked in her driveway for months. It took threats of legal action to get their subcontracter ,who cared enough about his own reputation, to finish the job. After all that, the roof leaked.) ALWAYS HIRE A REPUTABLE CONTRACTER LIKE COCHRAN

He did a great job. He was very personable and I enjoyed talking with him. He told us exactly what we needed to do.

Went great. Enjoyed working with Chase Lecklider. He was very accommodating with shingle samples and had excellent communication. Roofing itself went great. Very pleased with quality of workmanship.
