I had originally called as I had some storm damage and needed them to look at a couple shingles. When they came out, they assured me they didn't need to go up onto the roof at all and told me I had some nail pops and the obvious shingles that were missing. I was quoted for the work (just under $1000) and had to put $500 as a deposit. fast forward to the day they came out. Not only did they bring a shingle not even close but when the project manager was up on the roof told me that I had way more going on up on the roof and they highly recommend replacing the whole roof due to water damage and condition of shingles. At this point I did my due diligence and shopped around after getting the quote for a full roof replacement. I got quotes from 4 other companies who all came up quite a bit lower (material costs across the board were lower), and the icing on the cake was the fact that EVERY SINGLE ONE asked me the question why didn't the first company go up on the roof at first as they all agreed I needed to replace it. So, if Cochran would have just went on the roof in the first place I wouldn't have had to even put the original deposit in which they didn't even fix issues as it needed replaced and so I paid essentially $500 for them to caulk a couple place and not just go on the roof THE FIRST TIME and find the issue up front... I called to let them know I was going with another company who was a much lower quote for the exact same work, and they didn't even offer a refund (ethical thing to do since they didn't even go on roof at first) and even admitted that they should have just gone on the roof the first time when I asked them to! If you are looking for a quote from this company, all I have to say is just avoid or be careful.

Did good work replacing 2 rotten pieces of wood around exterior kitchen windows. Did well matching paint color to remaining painted wood.

Cochran exteriors did a beautiful job on installing new gutters, soffit & fascia. They were very affordable, extremely professional and got the job done in just a couple of days. We couldn't be happier with their work!! We would absolutely hire them again.

Their customer service was great. When I needed a question answered they were right there with me. Steve the Project Manager was great. I got a beautiful roof with a lifetime warranty. Great Job Cochran!!!!

Repeated months long delays. Little to no communication when work was going to begin, despite calls, messages, and texts from us. Over the months it took to complete the work, most days we weren’t kept informed if workers would be there or not. More than once we were told not to expect workers, only to have them show up or told to expect workers and no one showed up. They left 3-4” wide gaps between the stone and the windows. They reconnected electrical using siding tape instead of electrical tape, used the wrong size flashing behind the lights, looks terrible. They sent someone to make repairs, they didn’t repair everything. After they completed the window install, we noticed one window not done. They said someone forgot to order it. No one ordered it during the week long install, we had to call the salesman to get this ordered and months later it was installed. We had miscommunication paying the last 5%, on both sides. After mailing a check, they said they never received it, they said a salesman would come by. That was three weeks ago. Today they reminded me to mail the check or they could send a salesman, as if all of our previous conversations never occurred. Very frustrating process over nearly a year to get windows and siding installed.

Everyone we dealt with was fantastic. Shad and Albert were the first gentlemen we met. They were prompt, informative and very professional. They walked us through the entire insurance process and explained everything to a T. Once the work began, Micah, out field manager, continued the excellent service and communication. He made certain that we were completely satisfied with the final result. The contractors were expedient and professional and did amazing work. Sarah, our office contact communicated with us throughout the entire process as well. I would highly recommend Cochran Exteriors for your home repair/improvement needs!

I had a couple neighbors get a new roof and I needed a new roof. I saw the Cochran Exteriors sign and called for an estimate, on June 23, 2021. I started the experience on July 6th at 10:00 AM, after taking the day off work for this appointment, I was called and asked if I could reschedule. When I refused they sent an assistant Brian, He was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. My main concern was getting roof completed before it turned cold, I was assured the work would be done in two to three weeks after contract and half my money was received. After many phone calls I accepted a contract on August 23, 2021. My project was submitted to "Production" after my 50% was paid on August 30, 2021. I received a letter on or around September 29, 2021 informing me that my project had been accepted into "Production". I received a couple calls from my salesman explaining that my home does not meet code and they have a waiver of warranty on my roof they need signed because of it, and they are not a drywall company and they need a release of any and all liability of interior work performed on the installation of a Sun Tunnel in my home. When I objected i was informed it would just make the process take longer. I signed the warranty waiver (with objection asking for my money back), I was informed a cancellation fee would be in place, however, I did I refuse to sign the drywall waiver. My "salesman" called a couple more time (speaking negatively) about production but they needed picture of my attic and pictures of a weather vein on my barn roof. (re-roofing my home and barn). He showed up almost 10pm to take the pictures. From that moment on I did not hear from Cochran, on November 1st I received a "TEXT" from Cochran wanting to schedule my roof on November 22, 2021, to reply "C" to confirm. I was appalled after waiting several months, I receive a text and not a phone call. The materials were delivered on Friday the 19th, Monday morning, November 22, 2021, I had approximately 12 people show up at my house before daylight, parking in mine and my neighbors front yards, No one came to my door and they began tearing my roof off. I did have two gentleman come to my door and not speaking English at all pointing at my garage, I opened the door and they saw I did not have a vehicle parked in the garage, they began nailing a tarp up hammering nails into the garage door frame. After watching for a while I approached a gentleman and asked if he spoke english and was immediately greeted with a huge attitude and informed he was also hispanic. He informed me he did not work for Cochran Exteriors, he was a private contractor and he was contracted to do my roof. Later in the morning I received another knock at the door to find two different gentleman holding a phone showing me a picture of a Sun Tunnel and they were pointing inside my home, (they did not speak english either). I let them in and showed them where it was to be installed. I was standing in the front yard a couple hours later, and a gentleman approached and asked if I was the homeowner and I said yes, you must be the Job Superintendent, he advised no his guys were the ones installing the Sun Tunnel and they have a problem. We went inside to find out what was going on, we discovered that the tunnel was too short and they needed more materials to finish. He immediately got on the phone with the local supplier to see if he could find more tunnel tubing, while talking on his phone on speaker the supplier informed him they have all sun tunnels in stock and keep them in house with plenty on hand. ( I was told the six week delay was waiting on the Sun Tunnel to be delivered) . He then left to retrieve the materials needed. He was helpful and knowledgeable, but he was not my job superintendent. As they were finishing the job there were several items not satisfactory, I reached out to the Sun Tunnel worker and expressed to him what was wrong and he was able to get a couple of them addressed. Later that night after 8:30pm i get a knock at my door and the same two gentleman are standing there holding a ladder and a clean cloth, they were there to clean the debris and leaves they left inside the sun tunnel. I received another "TEXT" from Cochran Exteriors asking if I was satisfied with the completed work. I have yet to hear from them, While I don't have a problem with the quality of work performed, there was NO communication, I was never contacted by anyone after they got their 50% deposit and felt I was lied to on several occasions. It also took 152 days to get the work completed and my number one concern became reality as the work was completed on the coldest day. I will not and would not recommend this company to complete any work of any kind....

JohnDavid came to our house when we needed (and usually within the hour), and helped with EVERYTHING! He helped us navigate the insurance strings, brought shingles to show to the HOA (for color permissions), and answered questions at all times of the day or night. Sharon was an excellent resource to help us interact with the insurance company, to set up calls to release checks, and to explain all the numbers and forms. She and JohnDavid were friendly and professional. We will call Cochran first for anything in the future that we might need for the house.

We hired Cochran to replace some trim and two exterior doors on a new house we bought in April. They just finished the work in October. After the initial salesperson got us to sign the contract, the communication was terrible. I literally called them every week (sometimes more than once a week) for several months, just trying to get someone to tell me what was going on. It felt like my second job. No one would return my calls. After I texted the number I had saying that I was going to leave a bad review, Dawn called me and said she would be on top of it from now on, and I could call and talk directly to her. That also didn't pan out. I continued to have trouble getting in touch with them and figuring out when work would be done. And when I called and asked to talked to Dawn, she wasn't available and rarely actually called me back. The experience of dealing with this company was so bad that it would have been funny if it wasn't so stressful. I would not recommend them to anyone. I must say that the actual tradespeople were professional and did good work (when it was finally scheduled), but the lack of organization, communication, and planning was unlike anything I've ever experienced.

They used subcontractors for all of the work. Twice, different subcontractors approached me and said that certain portions of their assigned work was unnecessary. I then had to communicate that with Cochran so I didn't have to pay for work that wasn't completed.

Work was as expected.

They did a pretty good job, they did what they said they will gonna do and professional.

It went great! The crew that they had to install it was very professional, and they cleaned up everything before they left. They even took a big magnet TWICE around the yard to make sure they got all the nails. The roof even makes the house look better

The company has been around for years and they are a fantastic group to work with. It was great experience. Very professional, precise and knowledgeable.

We had Cochran Exteriors replace our roof and gutters on our home. They did a great job!! Gave us plenty of choices and the price was great! They even worked with our insurance company to help with our claim!!!

Jamie Miller came out the very next day to look at our new home siding installation. We had concerns about the install and couldn't even determine what product was used, and he was able to quickly reach out to industry contacts to determine the unknown fiber cement material source. He produced a very detailed report we were able to leverage when working with the builder. Jamie was prompt and professional, and I can't recommend him and Cochran highly enough.

Cochran installed new half-round galvanized seamless gutters on my home located in a historic district in Indianapolis. Several install companies I contacted either didn't reply or wouldn't take on the job. Cochran was more than willing to help me achieve my goals. I was surprised to learn half-round gutters could be done seamlessly. The PM assigned to my project provided exceptional service. The whole process was very simple and easy to understand. At all points of the process I felt well taken care of. Cochran focuses on effective communication which is hard to find as a homeowner seeking services. The material used on the project exceeded my expectations and the install crew was very knowledgeable, friendly, left our home in great condition, and provided a finished product that we are extremely happy with. I would highly recommend Cochran for any of your exterior home needs.

We had them out two times this year in Feb/March and have paid a total of $1495 out of pocket. The first repair was done by Scott only held up for a few weeks which we paid $450 and we provided the siding that was no longer in production since we had a box in our garage left from the prior owners. Scott then recommended repairing the siding but also tightening all the siding up to the peak which he felt confident would fix the problem. We then paid approximately $1044 and they were able to use the rest of the siding we had however last Wednesday two pieces of siding blew off. As a customer I just do not feel good about none of this labor having some kind of warranty, considering we paid close to $1500 dollars and provided a box of siding that is no longer available. I was under the impression that the second attempt was going to fix our problem, if there was any concern that tightening the siding up to the peak was not going to work I would have not have paid another $1044 to have it fail 8 months later. At this point I don’t feel like it is appropriate to pay for more labor that will not be guaranteed or have a warranty. They came out to look at the pieces of siding that blew off and gave me another quote for more than $1000 but once again they are saying that the work will not have a warranty unless they replace the entire side of the house. Unfortunately they are not standing by there work and I was told “these things happen” by their employee this past Monday but said they could come out and fix this problem for another $1000. I thought that’s what I paid for the first 2 attempts, now I have the same problem for March, out $1500 and they used all the siding that I had which is no longer being manufactured. I will not recommend this to anyone.
