The representative from Cochran Exteriors, LLC came in, did the job, let me know what the result was, and left. The price was just fine and I would use them again in the future.

Scott did a wonderful job for us. He was on the ball throughout the entire process including dealing with our insurance company to coming out before and after the job was done.

So glad I joined Angie's List shortly after moving to Noblesville after having a horrible experience with a garage door contractor who, I later learned, had many negative reviews on Angie's List. Could have saved myself some money and gotten the job done right, as this one was, had I been a member then. Kudos to Andy Bishop and the Cochran team for making this experience such a positive one.

Found no issues with our roof. Jim was knowledgeable and professional. Did not try to "sell" us anything else, but made suggestions about things he observed. Our impression was that this is a company with integrity and focus on customer care.

The provider was thorough and professional. He was very easy to talk to and honest about what needed to be done with our roof.

Bought the "Big Deal" from Angie's List. Andy arrived on time and explained his procedure. During inspection he fixed several nail pops, caulked around vent pipes, and carefully examined an area around the chimney for a suspected leak and sheeting damage. Then Andy went into the attic for further inside inspection. During the de-brief he explained that the chimney issue did not seem to be a problem, later sent picture of recent porch add-on issues. Overall, Andy was prompt, efficient and polite, quite knowledgeable on roofing issues. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

When well -- they had a specialist that they use fr the guttering come out and do that he also respackled the leaked area in the garage

I called Cochran Exteriors to schedule an estimate of a roof leak repair for Wednesday May 8th, 2013. At the time of my initial call, I asked if they do roof leak repairs and she said they do, and then I advised this would be an estimate for a roof leak repair of the 2nd story on a newer home (2000) and it is a straight shot up to the 2nd story roof, as there was no 1st story roof in which to climb onto and then climb onto the 2nd story. Prior to the appointment, the Estimator called to confirm the appointment I guess. He asked if I wanted an estimate for a complete roof replacement? As this roof was only 2 years old, I said "no" and told him I only need an estimate to fix the leak. Before we hung up, he asked me a 2nd time if I wanted an estimate for a complete roof replacement? Of course, I said no again. At this point, I should've cancelled the appointment with this company. Obviously, this guy had something else on his mind besides my little repair job. When the Estimator arrived, we talked about the problem for a couple minutes and then he said "They didn't tell me this was a 'true' 2-story" and he proceeded to inform me that he didn't bring a long enough ladder to be able to climb onto the roof to perform a visual inspection for the estimate. He did offer to reschedule the appointment for when they could send someone over with the proper equipment, but this would be my 3rd estimate and I would be making a decision very soon, so I declined the reschedule. Instead, I already had a good idea of the work that needed to be done and so we discussed that. He told me they would take aerial photographs of the roof sometime during the next couple days and he would send me a written estimate with photos early the following week (should have been Monday 5/13 or Tuesday 5/14) but, I never received anything. On Wednesday 5/15, I hired someone else to do the repair work which was completed on Monday 5/20. I did receive a phonecall voicemail from Tara at Cochran Exteriors (as I recall, she called on Friday 5/17) and requested a callback, but since I already hired someone else, I didn't return her call.

mr cochran has failed to return any information regarding my roof. UPDATE 5/28/2013: They saw the review that I have written and they were very upset. They came right out and re-examined my roof. They are sending out a crew at no additional charge by the end of the week to repair 2 defective places on my roof. They were very professional and helpful and I appreciate their responsiveness to the Angie?s List review and taking care of the situation. I plan to re-evalute the grades once the work is completed.

Prompt, friendly, and knowledgable. He was very happy to answer questions and gave honest advice.

Their customer service is terrible. I never knew what was going on and they never called me back. This went on for over a month and when they finally finished it I had no idea that they had been at the house. They ended up just putting a couple shingles up there and the leak is gone. They also said they sealed some joints.

They came out and tacked down a shingle that was hanging down and did an overall inspection. They also consulted with me about a gutter problem I had. He knew what he was doing and I felt good about how he was treating me with the service.

I called out, the company came out, and inspected it. He was out within a day of my call. He did exactly what he said he was gonna do, so I've had no problems with it. I thought it was a fair charge for what he did. I had some areas where the roof had pulled away and he had the stuffs in his vehicle and he sealed those areas for me until I can get that piece of the roof replaced. I was happy with his work. He was professional and absolutely knew what he was doing.

Everything went very, very well. Randy not only did the roof inspection but he also surveyed the rest of my property and provided feedback and input on it all. As noted above:Cochran Exteriors sent Randy Yates to my home for a roof inspection. Shortly after I ordered the Angie's List Big Deal, Randy called me to schedule the inspection. He also followed up with an email. We scheduled the meeting for Friday, May 17, 2013. Randy called prior to the appointment to confirm and later to advise that he was on his way. Randy was prompt, thorough and professional throughout his visit. He did not rush through the inspection and answered all my questions. Within hours after his inspection, as promised he emailed me a copy of the write up of my roof inspection.

The first time he came out he couldn't do the repair. Looked our house up on google and it shows the one story down the street so he gave his ladder to someone. Our house is wrong on google and we have a two story so he had to come back another day to do the inpsection and repairs. Just did a few patches. Seemed to do what he said he did but we haven't been on the roof to inspect. We have recently gotten a new small water stain on the master bedroom ceiling so we will have to look into that. Don't know if it is related to roof or not.

For a small repair required for selling my home, I needed service quickly. Cochran assessed the problem and did the repair very quickly. They provided an invoice for closing that stated work was complete and paid for. I like that they don't have a minimum charge like some roofers do.

Grabbed this when it was a special deal to have our roof inspected because we had severe weather and our roof is 10 years old so we thought for the price we should have it inspected. There were no issues with the roof. Contact was on time and forwarded me the pictures he had taken of the roof during his inspection.

He was punctual and courteous. He did not waste time and got the job done.

We originally paid for a roof inspection through Angie's List. The roof was inspected by Ross Cochran, who also applied a few seals. He arrived on time, introduced me to a trainee who was with him, and worked very quickly. Ross gave us a written estimate for pipe boot repairs. Since we had a $100 discount, we only had to pay $157. The work was done quickly a few days later. Ross was very professional. I felt that he was being very honest in not trying to sell us a new roof, when at this time it only needed some minor repairs.

I contacted Cochran Exteriors to inquire about a roof and attic inspection. I had two rooms in my house with water stains on the ceiling from over the winter. I wanted to be sure my roof was okay. I also wanted a professional to inspect my attic spaces to ensure my insulation is sufficient and not blocking any vents. Scott and Doug arrived at my house on time and inspected my roof and attic spaces. They said my water spots on my ceilings were caused by the way the ice melted and backed up underneath the shingles -- a fluke that cannot be helped and may never happen again. They said everything looked wonderful and didn't charge me at all. They were very professional and answered all of my concerns and questions. I will call upon this company if I should ever I have any roofing problems the future. I highly recommend them.

I used then through a big deal on Angie’s List and they were good as well as worth it. They did a good job and I would consider using them when it comes to doing the actual work.
