A field superintendent came out on a special Angie's "Big Deal" and for $100.00 spent over one hour on the top of my roof amd repaired the flashing which was allowing water seepage into our enclosure. We needed the repairs done ASAP and Jim could not have been more professional. He was able go gain access to the roof through the upstairs window, took a digitial photo while on a ladder in order that he could show me damage that squirrels had done while looking for cover. After completing the work he showed me additional photos in order that I could see the "before and after" results. The amazing part of this story is that they responded to me the very day I had ordered the "Big Deal" and I now refer Homeowner claims to their company as I have an insurance agency. Andy Bishop was great all the way through the process, from first meeting to review the needs right through taking care of final details himself. Cochran worked well with us and took care of the needs as agreed.

They got the work done in a timely manner. They inspected it and they've followed through well. The price was fair. We didn't have any rain, so I don't know if we have any leaks or not. I'm sure they would be willing to come out and do anything if there was a problem, but we've had no problems. They were very responsive.

Made an appt through the company office for a late afternoon appointment. Ross called ahead and arrived during the promised window. I have an older roof and a water mark on the bathroom ceiling so I wanted to have the roof inspected. Ross inspected the roof and re-caulked around the roof vents and pipes. He advised that the roof is in very good shape and should last us for several more years. He did not see any reasons for the ceiling leak from his exterior inspection. He went in the attic above the bathroom and discovered that the leak was from a hole in the hose that was venting the bathroom ceiling fan. Water was condensing in the hose and leaking through the hole. He cut off the leaking section and reattached the hose to the bath fan fixing the leak. I don't know much about my roof and many contractors could have charged me several hundred dollars for "roof repairs". I appreciate Ross's honesty and integrity and when it is time to replace or repair my roof I will be calling Cochran Exteriors.

They would not do the work. They just wanted to sell me windows. They would not refund the money after 3 phone calls and promising they would. I didn't want write this bad review - but my only choice.

I called Cochran exteriors based on seeing the big deal listed on Angies List. Prior to buying the big deal I called the company to ask a few questions and they said they could send a field rep out to inspect the roof at no cost and then I could decide if I wanted to purchase the big deal. The field service rep called to set up the appointment and I explained to him that I wanted him to assess some nail pops, some missing soffit and a few other small repair items. I explained I was looking to obtain a quote for the work. The field rep arrived at my home at our appointment time and the first question was "when was the last time you had hail?" I explained the reasons why I had called and that I wanted a quote for the repairs (not hail related) and he began is inspection. The entire time he kept talking about hail damage and how my insurance would cover a new roof due to hail damage. The roof is in good shape and the damage he found was minimal. In my opinion unlikely to be covered by insurance, no one in my neighborhood has been affected by hail. Two days after the inspection I received his report, it was a one sheet document saying I should have my insurance company come out to assess the damage to replace the roof. This was sent from the service reps personal email address, not the company assigned email on his business card. This I found unprofessional. I called the service rep and explained I wanted to see a quote for the repairs as I requested prior to and during his visit. I also wanted a quote to replace the roof if that was his recommendation. I will not call my insurance company without having that information. It is currently been 2 weeks and I still have not received the quote for the repairs that I requested. It seems from the attitude of the service rep that if you are not willing to make a claim to your insurance this company is not interested in your business.

From starting the process of obtaining an estimate to the final walk through their service was excellent. They took the time to work with my insurance carrier, explain the process and then do an outstanding job putting on the new roof. Everyone was on time, courteous and did a professional job.

Everything was fine with the service from Cochran Exteriors LLC. The quality was good. Responsiveness was fine. I would use this provider again in the future.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. I was a little bit disappointed. I had a small leak inside my house, and I wasn't sure what a roof tune up meant, but it did mention something about checking the roof. He came and he checked, and he didn't find any leaks outside on the roof, and he didn't something on the roof, and that was it. I had purchased the big deal for 99 Dollars, and I didn't think that it was worth the value.

The owner of Cochran Exteriors, LLC was very professional. They did a good job with the roof. I felt bad for them because it was really hot out. They had to come back the next day, just because of the heat, I think. They worked really hard and did a great job with the roof. They cleaned up afterwards. They had someone come out afterwards to check that they did a good job.

They put 1 shingle on. They were nice, very professional.

The $49 was well spent and we got a good report out of it. However we did not hire them to do the work. It was fine. Actually it wasn't all that great. I would say it was mediocre. By the time we were having the work done, we had to do different work than what they had estimated. I wouldn't recommend them because they didn't diagnose the problem.

The work itself went very well, the guy that came out was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job of explaining to me what he saw and of being upfront and honest about what needed to be addressed and what didn't. The roof inspection was very comprehensive, he took lots of pictures and also went in the attic to determine where the water could have come from. He located the possible source of the leak and indicated that he thought it was a very rare occurrence that probably only would have been possible with extremely high winds combined with rain. He caulked a little more around the area and said that was probably all that we needed for the time being. I was very pleased with the inspection There were two minor annoyances with this transaction. The first is that when they were originally scheduled to come out, they called and wanted to postpone right before the appointment because they said they didn't have a long enough ladder on their truck (this is a roofing contractor!), and the guy with the long ladder was on another job. I felt like that should have been clarified when the appointment was set, or perhaps they equip all of their trucks with longer ladders. The other negative was that the guy who ended up doing the inspection advised some other services for our roof and I asked him to e-mail me a quote. That quote never came, though I later received a marketing follow-up from the company. I felt really good about the work that was done, but felt like (as with SO many contractors) that the professionalism was a little lacking. Nothing major, and I would still do business with them again, but as they grow, hopefully they address that part of their business.

Had hole in siding and was going to send someone out to fix....that was over 6 weeks ago.

They were very responsive to the request to have it done quickly.

They came out in November. The service was excellent. They did what we expected. They went over and above. They made helpful suggestions. Told me if I needed work in the future, they told me what they would cost. I got a deal on Angie's list.

That went very well, I liked them very much. He called us pretty prompt and we had it scheduled that weekend. They guy who I made arrangement with was the one who came out to look at the roof. He was courteous, he was thorough, he was informative. The only concern I had I've never gotten a follow up report; he took some pictures with some hail damage but it's not huge damage and I never got a follow up from him.

It went well! They came out when they said they would and they checked it out. They seemed to be thorough and did the job. I wasn't interested in going up on the roof with him but he took lots of pictures so that I could see what he looked at. He was very informative and helpful!

Very quick scheduling, prompt and courteous representatives. They were very thorough, not only did they inspect our roof outside, but checked our attic to see if they could verify the source of a leak. Once they had determined the source, they repaired it very promptly. Since this was a "Big Deal" purchase, we didn't have any further expenses, but I would not hesitate in using this company again based on our experience this time. They were not only thorough, but they were courteous and professional as well.

I would like to apologize for the bad review I gave Jim he sent me an email which I never received immediately after he came out, though his price was double from the others I have receive. If I was lucky enough to have an insurance claim I would prefer to use Cochran Exteriors as I am sure he knows more about the business of roofing.. SORRY JIM Cathy Rogers

I bought a big deal coupon for $49 and I had $100 repair credit. The guy came out and did the estimate and inspection and gave me the idea of things to be done. I asked him to put that including the invoice of what needed to happen and when they will come and do the repair work. I was frustrated because I had asked for a couple of days notice when they will come for work because it was for my house that I was selling and I would have to arrange to be there during that time. The guys who came to do the shingle repair showed up and I didn’t know who they were. They did the repair work and it was not what was supposed to be done as per the estimate and it was going to be $350 extra and that was a surprise and frustrating. I had to ask for separate invoice for that. The evaluation is done by different person and the contractors come and fix the problem.
