They came in the house and said they wouldn’t do they job. They were not interested in giving me another estimate.

it went ok. said our roof was in excellent condition. he took some photos and said that there were some places where leaves were collecting and that he wanted to show the photos to his gutter guys so they could propose a solution for that. i think he wanted to be done at that point but the Big Deal said he would actually clear debris from the roof and hammer in any loose nails etc. so i made him go back up on the roof and do that. he said it would make a mess when he threw down the debris (and it did) but i said that was ok, we would clean it up. he was clearly a marketing rep and not a roofer. i still dont have the report back on the solution to the debris collection problem. not sure i will get that.

Jimmy was prompt in calling to set up visit. Came the next day and was on time. The main reason we purchased this coupon was to have our roof checked for leaks. We KNOW there are a couple of very very slow leaks, because there is slight damage inside house on walls and ceiling in 2 rooms. After pointing these places inside the house to Jimmy, he went up onto the roof to inspect. He found some popped nails, which he repaired and caulked. He said the flashing looks fine. He did not look at the roof from the attic, which in our house is easy to access. A second roofer from another Angie's List roofing company later DID look in the attic (free inspection). Also, on the coupon, included is "cleaning off roof debris", of which Jimmy was not aware. He said he could use my leaf blower and clean off the roof, which he did do. He said no one had ever mentioned the roof cleaning part of the coupon before. I double-checked the coupon while he was up on the roof, and it was the 1st item listed as a part of the service. He pointed out our roof ventilation system may need additional venting, to help avoid future nail-popping. Also wanted to repair an area of the roof. We have extra singles and were only given $70 credit because of the fact that we have those extra singles. That seemed I bit low, making it seem that they make more $ from providing new singles. We wouldn't go with this company without having at least a second and third opinion.

Andy was on time, did a professional job, was careful of my home & its belongings. The window caulking looks like new. No unsightly cracks anymore. I also appreciate that this business was willing to work with me on the timing of scheduling this job. I was out of town for some time after I purchased this Big Deal, but they didn't mind working with me on scheduling upon my return.

Ian Boggess was a true professional from the start. He contacted me shortly after we purchasged the Big Deal to set up an appointment. I informed him it would be awhile before we wanted the inspection. He said to just let him know when we were ready. Once we confirmed a date and time, he was on time. He explained what he was going to do. After he finished he explained what he found and what he did to repair it. Thankfully everything he found was minor and now taken care of. We will surely call him again for any roofing needs.

The leak is fixed - no more wet ceiling and we've had a lot of rain since the repair. The roofer was professional and explained what he did and cleaned up after himself. I was pleased and would recommend this company and would also use them again in the future.

Bought a one of the big deals through Cochran Exteriors LLC to have the restore some of my windows. I purchased the deal in late July and received a phone call from one of their agents stating that they were extremely busy, but would contact me within a couple of weeks to set up an appointment. Didn't hear from them so after a months time, I sent them a message through Angie's List. After getting a couple more emails saying that they'd be in contact and not hearing anything, I'm tired of trying to deal with them and would like a refund of the $99 I initially paid for the deal.

There were no extra charges. It was just exactly what they told me it would be. They are very good. The man who did was right here you know he was coming by like every half hour to check on things and the guys that did the roofing went through the whole yard to make sure there were no stray nails and they cleaned up everything. When they left you couldn't tell they even were here. They are kind of expensive, but then I have to do three sets of roofing. They were here at 7 in the morning and they were done by 2 in the afternoon. I would use them again in the future.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it turned out okay. My Big Deal was supposed to be for a roof tune up, but I have never heard of a roof tune up before. I bought the deal because I was already having trouble with my roof. On the one hand, he gave me some advice, but I don't know if the advice was exactly right because somebody else has looked at my roof since then and told me totally different. I don't know who was right because I know nothing about roofs. He seemed like a really nice young guy, but I really don't know. All I know is my roof is leaking in a place it shouldn't and it is a relatively new roof. There is nothing leaking around the skylight that I can see, but it is near the skylight. He did not try to rip me off or anything so that is always a good point. They were very good at responding to me and were here immediately after I bought the deal.

That was fine. It was worth $99. They seemed to be knowledgeable to tell me they felt I had another 15 to 20 years left on this roof. I just felt that he was credible. I didn't have any issues with them. And he got a good deal too, because there was nothing that needed to be done, which I far prefer that than having any problems. I've been pleased with the service I've got. I felt that they were knowledgeable.

I was running late and the guys were already on the roof inspecting when I pulled into the driveway. After checking the roof to locate the leak, the inspection moved inside to the attic. The root cause of the leak was was identified and a fix was applied. Since the repair was minimal, the service fee covered the repair.

They were AWESOME! I would soooo use them again. I first spoke with Jim on the telephone. We made a date & time to meet at my home so an assessment of damages could be made. He was extremely knowledgeable & professional. Jim really knew his stuff. He was super helpful. Even if I could not be at home, he met me at my work to go over the contract on his lunch hour. He (and his company) go the extra mile!!! They did all the repairs without any damage to landscaping & they cleaned up any & all debris. The only thing that I could tell when I got home was that the roof was on & all the repairs were done. Super Job Cochran (& JIM).

Went well. Roof inspection and informed me of hail damage. Scott is meeting with my insurance adjuster next week. Will do the roof repairs afterward.

I purchased the deal on July 22, 2013. I was contacted electronically the next day saying their representative, Josh, would get in touch with me. A couple of days later, Josh called and I described the job...using the $200 voucher as a base, I needed the company to repair or replace the attic window. What the $200 voucher didn't cover, I was prepared to pay the balance. Josh indicated he was busy but he would be out in a few days to look at the window and give me an estimate. I agreed. On 28 July I emailed a picture of the window to be fixed, but inadvertently sent it to Andy Bishop, of that organization, who responded he didn't know who I was. I realized the error, and emailed Andy back and told him the email had be mis-addressed, that it should have been sent to Josh, and asked that it be forwarded to him. Which I assume he did. After approximately 2 weeks, I called Josh and reminded him of our agreement, again, he said he had been busy but agreed to come out in two days, which he did. He took pictures of the damaged attic window and said that he would need to get an estimate from the shop on its repair/ replacement cost. He said he would get back to me in a day or so. No call from him over the next week, so I called him and left a voice message to call me about the estimate; no response. A second and third call was made over the next week, no response. On August 29th, I emailed Andy Bishop, his associate, who apologized for Josh not getting back to me and he said he would take over the project if I emailed him my name, address, order number etc. Which I did on August 30th. On Sept 9th, I received an email from Andy Bishop stating that they had already given me an estimate and that apparently I did not like the pricing... that he had contacted Angie's List about a refund for me. Upon receipt of that email, I responded to Bishop that, to the contrary, I had never been given an estimate nor received a phone call about and estimate, and requested that one be provided. As of this date, no estimate has been provided me. Since Cochran Exteriors had been so no responsive, I contacted Angie's List last Thursday to obtain a refund and told them, due to Cochrans poor communication with me to date, I did not trust them to do the work even if Angie's people could convince them to do so in lieu of a refund.

I though it was a little odd there was no documentation of the inspection in writing. As a customer, I would prefer something in writing saying that I had this inspection done.

I purchased their $99 Big Deal for 2 hours of window restoration on July 16, 2013. My hope was that they could repair the 2 windows on the front of my garage. Their sales rep. who came out was nice and courteous and informed that the windows couldn't be fixed but needed replacement. I then asked for an estimate to replace those 2 windows and one on back of house with the Pella brand window. I received a written estimate about 2 weeks later. The estimate just showed a total amount for all three windows with no breakout per window. I e-mailed the sales rep. and told him I needed the estimate broken out by window. He indicated that he would have the home office take care of that. To this day I still don't have an estimate broken out by window. After a few more weeks passed I contacted sales rep. again and told him I would just like for them to spend the 2 hours of window restoration caulking my existing windows. He said he would contact the home office and get that scheduled. It has been at least 2 weeks since that communication and no one has contacted me about caulking the existing windows. About 10 days ago I received an e-mail from Cochran Exteriors via Angie's List that wanted to know if I was satisfied with their service. I replied to that e-mail and said that I hadn't received any service yet. I checked today and could find no response to that e-mail. At this point I would be happy to just receive a refund on the $99 and I will obtain the window replacement estimate and caulking work elsewhere.

After submitting estimate I attempted multiple times to have work scheduled. Provider committed on 21st of August to getting workers out the next day to begin work but they never showed up. I never heard back after numerous attempts. I would avoid this provider if possible.

I was in the process of accessing if I need to have the roof repaired due to hail and age. They came out and gave me a bid on the roof as well as fixing a few issues with caulk and flashing. I did not end up using them for replacing the roof.

Intend on using Cochrane for some gutter upkeep issues. Did not try to oversell anything. Just good honest and helpful. Jim and George were knowledgable and very easy to talk to. Look forward to using them in the future! Highly recommend!

see above. offered to correct problem with Angie's list site - site never showed that the contract or charges had been entered or charged to my credit card. I will not use Angie's List site again for any charges.

We just purchased the roof inspection on the house we were putting on the market because it looked like there were some shingles that had blown off. The man arrived on time, checked the roof and re-sealed the vents. He told us the roof was good for another 10 years.

Cochran never provided a quote for requested work. I awarded the work to another vendor.

The work was OK. I asked for an estimate to repair shingles on the chimney chase and had to wait too long for a reply. When it came, after talking to someone who had the same work done for them, I thought the price was too high.

The representative from Cochran Exteriors was very prompt in contacting me. He was also extremely professional and made a commitment to meet at a time it was convenient for me. He showed up on time, as scheduled, and provided a detailed written repair estimate. The estimated repair costs were very fair and repair were subsequently scheduled. On the date of repairs, the representative was punctual and completed repairs without any issues. I definitely recommend Cochran Exteriors and would utilize their services again.

They came out 2 months ago and provided me an estimate. Then I never heard from them again.
