Scott Leigh was very professional. He spotted problem areas that are problems now as well as could be problems down the road. He showed us pictures and gave us very detailed descriptions of what he noticed. He was upfront and honest-at no time did I feel he was trying to sell us on a service.

We purchased on 2/24. We had an apt scheduled and the Cochran rep had to change the date, which was fine and he was to call us back to reschedule. I had to call after a couple weeks of no phone call. We had the apt. on March 14th, he came out and did an inspection. I was told we would have their report on needed repairs and cost estimates in the next week. After one week I sent a text to the rep asking about the estimate? It is now April 7th and we've heard nothing. I will not be tracking this company down any further. I feel the coupon was a complete waste of our funds and time.

Andy was very thorough and knowledgeable, and didn't try to sell upgrades I didn't need.

Jim Fitzgerald from Cochran Exteriors came out the afternoon I bought the special, and promised service the next day, as they needed to match the color of the shingle . They more than delivered! They went above and beyond and left some spare shingles in case any more came loose. This has been a professional, courteous, reliable company to deal with, and I will be using them again. I would definitely recommend this company.

They were very prompt and informational. He did a wonderful job. We had several people come by and no one could find the hole. We had animal remover companies that we paid $1000.00 to fix and trap the animals. That was of no help. We Cochran exteriors arrived they found the hole immediately and had it fixed within a few days!

Scott was very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. Highly suggested.

The contractor inspected my roof for winter damage. He took pictures of a few areas of concern - suggested that a contractor who had done some repairs in the fall should come back and take care of a few things that were not completed properly. He emailed pictures to me that I can show the previous contractor. He was very professional.

George was punctual, knowledgeable and showed me pictures on the few issues he found on my roof. No need for repairs now, but would contact them in the future.

Scott was very professional and helpful, and communicated with me throughout the entire process. He found a few loose nails and fixed those areas, but thoroughly inspected everything else and assured me that all was OK. These guys are honest and trustworthy -- if there isn't a problem that needs fixed, they won't create one just to have something to charge you for. He even saw some loose flooring in my entryway and corrected that for me. Will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend.

I have mixed reviews. The gentleman who came out was very personable. I assumed that it was not a leak. He said he would give us a quote on replacing the gutters and putting the wire mesh and leak guard on it. I haven't heard from him. Normally, I would expect the quote within a day or so. There were no additional costs aside from the big deal purchase. He seemed very professional and very personable. There's not much follow-through. The price seemed very reasonable. I was concerned about the roof. I know it was leaking and I didn't know how bad it would be. I was pleased that he was forthright in saying that the roof looked fine but the flashing had some gaps in it. We had some difficulty basically due to the weather and getting the service provided but he did it. The follow-through is really disappointing.

It went well with them. They were professional, prompt and honest. They could have easily told me there is something wrong with the roof that needs fixing, but they did not.

There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I thought the service was pretty good. Because of the weather, it took a long time for them to respond. I had to call them. It look them a while to respond back. But once they did respond back, the weather kind of got in the way. What I didn't appreciate was that when the weather got better, no one contacted me. I had to reach out to them again and say, "The weather is good. You should be able to get on top of the roof." So I had to reach out to them a second time. Once I did that the second time, he went out there immediately.

It went well. George from Cochran Exteriors was very responsive to any questions that I had and did a great job of getting everything scheduled in a timely manner. There have been no leaks since the fixes were done.

The workers were quick and clean. I cannot even tell the roof had been patched. Beautiful job.

They were prompt and did the attic inspection. I asked for and received an estimate for insulation to get up an R factor of 40. Although I asked about cellulose, they only work with fiberglass. As to the weather-stripping, they told me they didn't do doors older than (I think) 1990. They called back and said they would return to do the door work with materials they got from the hardware store. They did an okay job, but left debris. The estimate was considerably higher than that of the company I decided to use.

Joel was great. Very knowledgable and personable guy. He came and immediately went to work analyzing the attic for insulation. I was very comfortable letting him peruse the house. He even went on the roof to ensure that the roof was of good quality. Never once did I feel like this is a sales pressure situation. Instead, he made trips back to his office to find the best weather stripping for our doors because they are relatively drafty especially in the back. I would use this company for any problems that we may have in the future.

I had hail damage. They came out to inspect the damage and took pictures of everything. They arrived thirty minutes early for the appointment. They sat down with me and explained how everything works with the insurance. They are contacting my insurance company to move forward with the work.

Purchase of Big Deal went pretty terribly. Apparently there was a computer glitch that caused multiple Deals to be charged to my account and a wait to get the refund. Though that's not the providers fault, I say that because there was a delay in me getting contacted reference this big deal (by more than a few days or a weekend) which the glitch may have contributed to (not caused) the communication delay. Once contacted, everything went very well. Provider arrived early (after contacting me, of course), was very friendly and knowledgeable, and did all that was required by the Big Deal (though he did have to use one of my ladders which was not a big deal). One thing worth noting was that just prior to leaving, an estimate of repairs/replacement was discussed and he told me he would e-mail me the final numbers. I was surprised to see the e-mail arrive on the next business day as most contractors discuss this and then the e-mail never comes through because they have forgotten. Good experience.

I did not watch him, but did see him on my roof. We had a hail storm and wanted to make sure the siding and roof were in good condition. He told us no problems other than my dryer vent needed cleaning. He was here around 15 minutes. I scheduled a dryer vent cleaning the next week. The workman took my phone and took pictures of holes in my roof around my dryer vent. He said we had many nails that had popped up too, and the gutters needed to be cleaned. I now have no confidence in what Cochran Exteriors told me. UPDATE 3/17/2014. Cochran quality assurance come out and did an inspection of my roof again today. They said the vent and area around the vent were done wrong by Dryer Vent Wizard. (Same thing a general contractor told me last week.) He took pictures for me to see, and I agree it looked bad! He also found a roof area over my garage was not properly fastened and will give me an estimate on fixing both. I feel confident using them in the future.

He came for a roof inspection and explained what may need to be done. The service went very well. We scheduled on three different occasions but with the weather we had we had to cancel. Once the roof was clear he came out the following week. He did a very good job.

They're pretty much on time. They're good workers, and did a cursory inspection at first. Due to the weather, they haven't completed the work yet. They've also been really good about rescheduling appointments as needed.

Jimmy from Cochran Exteriors was very professional and pleasant to work with. The date had to be reset a couple of times because of weather and snow on the roof. His communication for rescheduling was excellent

Jimmy used his iPad to take a video, then reviewed it with us. Luckily our roof is in good shape. Suggested we have the vents checked next year for possible replacement. Have the $100 credit to use when and if we need it.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The actual work went fine. There were no additional charges. I asked for a quote for some other work and they got back to me with a quote but I asked a follow up question and they never got back to me. I am still waiting for them to answer my question. The pricing was acceptable and the quality was good. I possibly would use them again.
