It's been a mess. There are large spots in the painting where they just didn't do it, and the rest of the paint is not done correctly. The gutters are wavy from a bad roller on the truck.

They came out to fix the leak in the roof. They patched the leak in front of the house. It was excellent. I was very please with them. They were able to match with the shingles. He came and got shingle samples. He had somebody help there that afternoon. They were fine. I had no problem with them. Punctuality was excellent. They were out here from the moment I made that first phone call; I think it took him two days. He was only delayed because it snowed and so he wasn’t going to be able to see the bottom roof. I was very happy he didn’t try selling me the entire roof. When I was looking for roofers, they try to sell me a $22,000 roof because of this little leak. Absolutely, I would use them not until everybody knew about them.

I got a lot of good information and a good assessment of the roof. He took a lot of pictures with his iPad and he was able to show me what he was talking about.

I have found Scott, the inspector, to be very helpful and forthcoming with information. My circumstances have presented a challenge, but he has been very accommodating.

It did take a little while to get scheduled due to weather. It took a little longer than I thought it should have. Once we got set up it was OK.

George Fitzgerald with Cochran Exteriors offered a roof inspection through Angie's List. He came out and assessed the roof. My concern was some splashing that may have occurred int he attic over the winter. Apparently some shingles were lose and he repaired them that day. He suggested gutter aprons be installed, replacing some vent boots, and said the chimney housing had a crack. His crew made the appropriate repairs before the spring was done. He is very professional and so is his crew who guaranteed their work.

They did a good job on the roof and didn't charge me extra.

This was an Angie's Big Deal. First, I sort of got lost in the shuffle, having to call back after not hearing from this business for quite some time. That might have been partly my fault because I needed to delay service initially. I would never have mentioned this is the rest of their work had been satisfactory. I was called the day the work was initially set to be done because it was raining. The man who called said he would not be able to get on the roof for inspection because of the rain. That was fine. It was rescheduled for 2 days later. When a workman did arrive he said he doesn't get up on roofs; it was the other guy who did that. He didn't even have a ladder with him for getting up into the attic. He had to go back to the shop for one. My roof NEVER got inspected. The young man who did the inspection said it would be okay since it was only 5 years old. This person was polite, & I assume he did a sufficient job of inspecting the insulation in the attic. He recommended additional insulation be installed as what was there had settled. He said he would have an estimate sent for Cochran to do the work. As of this date, May 15, I have not heard anything more from Cochran Exteriors.

The work turned out fine. They were professional about it, and they got it taken care of at a reasonable price.

The technician found nothing wrong. He put some putty in one area he thought was starting to crack. There was no additional charge for that. They were very responsive after calling to schedule an appointment. It was very easy to make an appointment for them to come to my home. They came out in a timely manner. The technician was very nice, professional and took his time explaining everything to me.

It was great. A guy from the company, Scott, came out and did what I had paid for and while he was up there he discovered a lot of hail damage so he recommended that I contact my insurance company. So, I did that and he came out while the adjuster was out here and today, they just put my new roof on. The service was paid for by the insurance. The only extra charges were when I upgraded the shingles when I had them put the roof on but as far as the initial visit, there was nothing additional. They had really great communication whether it be through the contact himself when he comes out as well as their office who communicated when appointments were scheduled and when things would be done which was very important to me. Most of the cost of the service was paid for by the insurance so what I had to pick up on my own was not anything extraordinary. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Crew paid attention to details and clean up was OUTSTANDING.

The young man came out fairly quickly and claimed that we needed some immediate work done on the roof. I started the process with my insurance company to have an adjustor come out but he was not scheduled until a couple of days later. Meanwhile, I had a friend in the construction business come out and was told that some shingles were slightly damaged but not enough to replace the roof. I called the business to alert them of the difference of opinion and the woman I spoke with on the phone did everything she could to make me happy from a reimbursement to having a supervisor come out to my home. I was very satisfied in the long run for their willingness to take care of me and find the company very honorable but I did not have the best experience with the representative that came to do the initial inspection.

I highly recommend this company, Scott was very informative and I never felt "pressured" into signing a contract when he came out to the house. The materials were delivered on time and the installation went well. The company was willing to fix small things ( disconnected vent in the bathroom) and other small issues that arose. Finally, they treated their roofers with respect. I have to admit that I was not looking forward to a new roof, since it can be so disruptive. None of my landscape was damaged and the cleanup was excellent (no nails were found when I mowed the lawn,

One of my roof vents was leaking. Cochran came out, said there was hail damage and tried to convince us that insurance would replace the whole roof. Cochran provided a hail map to show that our area was hit with hail about a year ago. None of our neighbors ever had their roof replaced since then, but we filed a claim with our insurance company anyway based on Cochran's recommendation. The insurance company said the roof didn't need to be replaced, but they estimated that there was about $1900 of repairs needed, including replacing all the roof vents. Insurance gave me a check for $900 since my deductible was $1000, so I used the $900 to have Cochran replace all the roof vents instead of just replacing the one that was leaking. It felt like Cochran was trying to sell us a new roof and have insurance pay for it, but the work that needed to get done got done eventually and I'm happy with it.

Very efficiently! I recommend this company very highly. The workmen and supervisors were very polite and timely. They removed all of the debris and completed the job beautifully. I would definitely recommend Cochran. When the need arises, I will call them again.

Vendor was prompt in responding and coming out on set appointment. They took pictures and said I would have part of the report that week and the remainder the following week. it has been over a month and no report,or communication was received yet. I finally called and expressed the urgent need for the report,with the rep that did the inspection. He apologized and said he would look into it. The vendor did call me back once since that call stating something about the GPS navigation system shows my address wrong. I don't understand how that matters when they have my address they can simply type the report and mail it or hand deliver it. Still no report has been received and that was a week ago. An inspection does no good if there is no report provided detailing the observations. A waste of my time and money, and I would NOT do business with this company again. There are too many alternatives out there to deal with subpar service, let alone have to pay to have an inspection done in the first place.

It went really well. After I bought the roof inspection, George Fitzgerald contacted me really quick and once I explained that I already had a leak, He put me further up the list. He was very prompt with sending me an estimate which I felt was reasonable for what they were going to do . They were very good at calling me and letting me know when they would be there to do the work and came when they said that they were. They also painted the two turbine vents to match the flashing around the chimney The workers were very prompt, efficient and cleaned up very nicely. They did a follow up with me to see if everything was okay. When I replace the gutters they are the company I will call.

They put in a new roof and wall where it had gone through. They did a really good job. I was very pleased. Any issues I had, they came right back.

I purchased a 1920's home, and called Cochran for an estimate. I decided to go with more of a historical renovation type of job, and decided to hire a company that specializes in that, but decided to write a review for Cochran Exteriors because I was impressed with their professionalism. They responded to my requests and answered my calls in a timely fashion, and my experience with them was pleasant all around. I would have hired them if I did not decide to go the "historical preservation" route, because I know they are the professional type of company that would stick to their time frame (from my experience with the estimates and q&a); they do a lot of work around town with good looking end results; and their price was competitive.

The job went very well. The inspector was very quick to get in touch with me to schedule an appointment. He arrived when he said he would and took great care to explain everything he was inspecting along with the results of the inspection.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. There were no additional costs.

He did a very thorough job, taking pictures of the attic and showing us where work was needed and additional insulation. He provided estimates for 2 levels of insulation, and was very knowledgeable. He also replaced the gasket on the bottom of our front door (included in the inspection). We did not end up having him do the work as it turned out to be more expensive than we thought. But if I were staying in the house for 20 more years, I probably would have paid the extra, as his work included manually sealing joints and openings where duct work came up into the attic.

I called on Tuesday April 1st asking for someone to come out to look at my roof due to finding shingles in my yard. I left my name and number with the woman who answered the phone and she said someone would be calling me back. It's been a week and I have never received a return phone call. Won't be using this company now or ever.

Provider was efficent, clean spoken, timely and did everything he said he would do. I am very pleased and would use them in the future. Took the time to explain my roofing replacment options and answered all my questions.
