I expected a written list of the things that needed repair but only got an estimate for three of them. After requesting a list, I did finally receive it .

They were very easy to work with. Appointment was established. Inspector was right on time and very professional.

Mark Kiemeyer and Cochran Exteriors were excellent to work with. After receiving a preliminary inspection report on a house we were considering purchasing that turned up some potential big problems with the roof, it was recommended to us by the inspector that we get a roofer out to provide a full roofing inspection and give us an estimate for the work. I called them on a Friday, and Mark was able to inspect it on Monday afternoon during the busiest roofing season (end of summer). By the following Friday, we had a full report, recommendations, and estimate detailing the work he suggested. He was extremely responsive to my emails during the process and very professional and helpful. We appreciated his help very much, and he answered all of our questions about the quality of the roof.

It did not go good. I still have not received the estimate. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and I called today. They said they would get back with me, but I still have not received an estimate. It has been a couple of weeks. They have not even given me the inspection.

The representative was punctual and responsive to questions in person and via email and text message. He found the likely source of the leak near our chimney. We filed a claim with our insurance company due to possible hail damage, and the representative met with the claims adjuster. We are now waiting for estimates from Cochran for repairing the leak or replacing the entire roof (we think it is about ten years old).

Cochran was the only one of 6 providers that was able to come out the same day. Mr. Kiemeyer did a thorough inspection inside and outside. I would use Cochran again for repair and they will be on the top of my list when it comes time for a new roof.

Mark Keymeier took excellent care of us from start to finish. He explained everything thoroughly, was on site frequently, followed up quickly on a few challenges, and ensured we got the professional experience and quality of work that we wanted. Although the first painter that came out was not quite up to the job, he was quickly replaced with a crew that did a fantastic job. The roofers were prompt, quick (completed a fairly large roof in a single day), and clean. The new roof looks fantastic and they left behind no mess. The gutter were replaced as quickly and professionally. As for the awnings, the ones on the house were a type of aluminum awning that are not readily available. It appeared that we were going to have to replace them with canvas, but Mark and the team at Cochran searched, and were able to find replacements that were very similar to the originals. Overall, It was an enjoyable, and high quality experience. We would not hesitate to use Cochran again or to recommend them to others.

We are selling our home and had to address a few issues in an inspection report. Scott came out and sealed some nail heads on our roof free of charge. He also did some additional sealing he noticed needed done. It was a quick job, but it was something we needed done. I really appreciate his willingness to come out for something so minor.

With the severe weather, we had fly-by-night roofers knocking on our door and claiming our roof was in poor condition. We purchased a Big Deal from Cochran's to inspect the condition of our roof. We were amazed to hear from them within 15-minutes of purchasing the deal. And within 2 1/2 hours, there was a representative inspecting our roof. Although the rep caulked everywhere to seal things up again, he said our roof was in good shape. We were expecting hail damage (which the rep pointed out a slight dent on a box), so we were prepared to call our insurance company. But due to the Cochran Rep's integrity, we don't have to worry about it for now. Thank you Cochran.

He did tell my husband what was going on but he also said he'd follow up with an estimate so we'd know how to proceed. I thought I'd apply my $100 credit to the suggested work but we never received an estimate.

It went perfect. They did it in one day. One time I looked out there and there were like eight trucks. I have no idea how many people it was, but there were at least three crews because the house is large. They finished it. I just purchased another thing from them and I haven't had it scheduled yet, but they're going to replace my gutters and gutter guards. The price was discounted through Angie's List for the roof. It ended up costing more because our house has a third story pitch roof on it, although it's not three stories but looks like it. They also had some boards to replace and had to pull off two roofs. They did an excellent job. The total cost was just over $10,100. Everything went really well. There wasn't any Angie's List discount there, but we went after them for the guttering afterwards. We were satisfied enough that we're going for another deal. The price was more than I thought, but my son-in-law bought a plan from another company and is going to get his roof done in August for $7,500. He's got a small house, so I didn't think the price for my roof was outrageous. It was reasonable, although I would have liked it to be cheaper. They talked to me on the phone several times. I was able to call them and they called me right back as we planned things together. Their punctuality was very good. They called about the gutters and they came out the same day. When I called them and told them that we were going to go for it, he was over here in 20 minutes. Their supervisor's name is Ralph and he's really nice. The crew was also very polite and nice. The only thing my wife would say is that they were supposed to protect the flowers and in the front of our house they laid down throws, but the stuff is coming off the roof is heavy so it pretty much smashed the flowers. They're not dead. They're not going to be doing well this season, but other than that I have no complaints. They cleaned up after themselves. When they left, just like it said in the ad, they used magnets to pick up any nails and stuff like that. They left the property just absolutely looking like it did when they came only with a nicer looking roof. I would seriously recommend them. They are going to do my son-in-law's house and I think my neighbor might like to use them because he saw their work.

The owner was very straight forward, and explained everything in detail. I was very satisfied with the work that was done, and I would definitely recommend them.

Result looks like new. Good match of materials.

We're pleased with the labor and the people who came out. It hasn't been snowing or freezing though so we can't fully know if it's been fixed well. They were very courteous and always called us before they came. They were right on time. They were very good at giving a certain estimated time and then calling before they arrived. They cleaned up after themselves.

They didn't really do much. He walked around with a tube of sealant and added a little sealant and told me if I needed anything.

Completely satisfactory job as described in the Big Deal I purchased. They did everything I expected them to do. They did indicate that there was a loose shingle, and they provided me with a quote to fix it. I received competing quotes and chose a provider who came in much lower on their bid. Overall, though, I was pleased with the service of this deal.

The big deal was a good price but the item they suggested to do was not great. They were responsive.

Went very smooth. Property had renters and they coordinated with them directly, keeping me informed all the way. Very nice to work with. George Fitzgerald was very professional.

I give a Cochran an A for effort, but a D for results. We asked them to find the source of a leak and repair it. They thought it was a lea around the chimney and I agreed to a repair for $1200. That work was done in December. There was one rain when I thought the leak had slowed, but it has never stopped leaking. The A for effort is that Cochran did come back out twice and spent considerable time trying to find the leak, even patching a place around a pipe once, but they were never able to find the leak and, so, the roof continues to leak six months later. I also give an A for effort because until recently the replies to phone calls and emails were prompt. Unfortunately, what is of more value to us is that the leak be stopped and the damage to our furnace room be repaired.

Took too long to get back with me with estimate for repair. Estimate was very thorough and detailed when received. Found someone else to do job before I received his estimate.

Awesome! Jim Van Curen with Cochran Exteriors was EXCELLENT to meet with & clearly understood my desire for a new roof. He met me at my work to go over samples, offer ideas & suggestions. He was really helpful in explaining all the options. He stated the project would take his company 2 days to complete. I thought maybe he was mistaken & thought to myself "sure....right." Son of Gun! He was dead on! The project took 2 days as he stated. When I returned home both nights after the project was started & finished, there was NOT one piece of debris, shingles, paper, etc. He & his crew were fantastic! The only way I knew they were there was because I had a new roof! Seriously! They were respectful of my property & brought all their own supplies (ladders, tools, etc.). They did not block access to my garage & they even took the time to lay boards down over my spa cover so as not to damage it! Impressive detail. I utilized Cochran Exteriors in the past two years due to hail damage & told Jim, when it is time to replace the roof, he would be getting a call-back & a call-back he did. This project when off without a hiccup or bump in the road. We both understood the expectations & mine were far exceeded. I was not disappointed at ALL! He (Jim) is professional, reliable and trustworthy. I would recommend their company to anybody who may be in need of a new roof or anything else they could do.

It went perfectly. I've used Cochran before; therefore, when I needed help, I knew who I wanted to call. Jim Van Curen was great to work with here, as before. He met with the insurance inspector and went all over the roof with him, to be certain that I was being treated fairly. The roofing crew worked swiftly and methodically, and did a great job on the roof. The gutter crew, who followed the roofing crew a few days later, did a great job as well. They noticed a placed in the old gutter where water seemed to stay, and using a level, changed the slope of the gutter to achieve better drainage. Time has passed since the work was completed, and everything is great. I appreciate the work completed by both crews, and Jim's help and support. I already recommended him to family and friends living near me, and they too used Jim and Cochran. Their quality work sells their company to new customers.

Very thorough. Checked out areas of concern we had as well as doing a complete inspection of the roof and the attic.

The inspectors were very professional and friendly. After the inspection, they thoroughly reviewed the results and pictures taken with me. They educated me on roofing materials and techniques. I would definitely recommend this company to others and utilize their services in the future.
