Initial estimate by Cochran representative went great. Then they were unresponsive for many months. After much effort on my part, I got them to schedule the repairs nearly 5 months after the estimate. This was completed by a subcontractor. Unfortunately, they did not address the initial goal of the project and actually caused more damage to the door frame and door during the process. The door was also reinstalled incorrectly in the process. I contacted Cochran directly with my concerns, and they immediately redirected to the subcontractor. The subcontractor (manager) agreed that the repairs needed additional work and offered to try again. They gave a sincere effort to fixing some of the problems from the original repair process, but again, the initial goals were not met. I think this ultimately resulted from a disconnect between Cochran and their subcontractors, and ultimately due to an undue transfer of accountability from Cochran to their subcontractors. This results in a loss for the customer.

I purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List and decided to also replace my gutters and gutter guards. Everything went great.

Cochran was very helpful. When Matt from Cochran came to look at the wind and hail damage on my roof, he suggested we put tarp on the damaged areas immediately (to prevent interior damage to my ceilings.) Of the three companies I requested estimates from, Matt was the only one to mention this. (Thank God he did! Within a few days of his putting up the tarps, we had several inches of rain!) Matt was also very helpful regarding the process of dealing with my insurance company. When the local branch of my insurance company basically said they couldn't be bothered to look at the damage on my roof, since the damages couldn't possibly be more than my deductible, Matt suggested I call the national claim phone number, and he met with the adjuster when he came to my house. Well, without going into every detail, let me just say that Matt was able to convince the insurance company that their contract with me entitled me to most of the cost of a new roof. So now I have a brand new roof! Also, the team that did the roof did a great job. They tore off the old roof, put up the new one, and cleaned up the debris all in one day. They worked for 14 hours, in over 90 degree heat. So in summary, I am very happy with Cochran, and I highly recommend this company.

If they hadn't taken more than two months to give me an estimate, I never would have know that they were trying to swindle me. I initially paid $90 using a coupon on here for an inspection, even though the website says they offer "free estimates." I could be wrong, but these feel like the same thing. I was told I needed a new chimney cap and the price could be up to $2,600. I was also told that they would look around to find the best price. After bugging the sales guy two months later I got an estimate for $1,125. I asked for him to break down the quote as I'd done some digging and found these caps are a few hundred dollars, not up to $2,600 as he told me.Here's what I was told: $425 chimney cap, $450 labor and $250 profit. Again, I'm no expert, but isn't labor profit? I was told that they had to work with another company to get the part, so they needed to make some sort of profit. I ended up calling a few more companies - all free estimates and all of which were AT LEAST $500 LESS THAN WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE. Don't get ripped off. I'm not sure if I just got a bad sales person or if this whole company is like this, but I wouldn't take the risk. I have a new chimney cap, which took less than a week from my call to installation and it was about $600 less than Cochran.

George Fitzgerald from Cochran came out almost immediately to tarp our roof after the storm to prevent any further damage. They worked without insurance Co. And did a great job start to finish! Thanks Cochran!

We were in the process of selling our home and had a pre-sale inspection. We purchased an Angie's list deal to address loose nail pops, and general wear and tear. Cochran exteriors performed the general maintenance and the roof passed the buyer's inspection with a strong report. The roof was 12 years old at the time.

Excellent workmanship as far as I can see. Even roofed storage barn.

The salesman was open, honest, personable and came back to check the work and make sure I was satisfied. The roofers were very hard working and did not bother me one bit (except for all the hammering!☺)

I emailed right after the roof inspection asking for my detailed roof inspection findings. I had this done to keep track of all roof shingle nail pops, flashing rotting or coming loose, air vents needing sealing. Overall condition of my roof. I have not received a response or anything since I emailed them three weeks ago. I have a detailed roof inspection completed once a year, and I always ask and receive a detailed finding list so I can keep track of any findings or issues which get worse with time and needing to be corrected. I do not pay for some one to walk on my roof and come down and say a couple of things and just leave. I kinds got the feeling he was more interested in looking for major damages to my roof so he could get a roofing replacement job than actually getting on my roof, walk around and inspect all areas of my roof, making any minor repairs or sealing which would be required to allow my roof to last 20 more years.

It took a few days for Cochran to get back to me after purchasing a $79 Angie's Deal for the services described. Once they did, we had an appointment scheduled. Mark was the project manager who came out and did the work. He was about 90 minutes late due to some unforeseen complications on a previous job. That did not bother me as I had the time available to wait for him. Mark was very communicative about what he was going to do and what he actually did once he was finished. Mark wore a Go Pro camera and narrated his work as he proceed through the discovery and work completion. He was able to show me what needed done and what was done by showing me the video on his tablet. This allowed the my inspection without me climbing and going across my roof (I would never have done that due to my age and fear of heights).

Our project manager Chris York was excellent throughout the process, and I highly recommend giving him a call! We had damage to our roof from the recent high winds, and Chris came out right away to take a look. He recommend a total replacement of the roof, and he was great in working with our insurance company. He was here the morning the adjuster came, and he made sure to answer all of our questions about different types of shingles, warranties, etc. Within a week, his crew came out and replaced our roof in one day. We could not be happier. They were very clean and took wonderful care of our house and our yard. I would not hesitate to use Cochran Exteriors again in the future. Chris is very friendly and will go out of his way to help you. We had an extremely smooth experience because of him!

After initial contact and set up of appointment, I had a difficult time getting "Bill" to make it to the house. Weather this Spring has definitely been a factor but he was always stating that something came up or the weather did not allow him to make it over based on the forecast. Apparently he was coming over from the Muncie Area. After several weeks of not being able to get him to make it to the house, I called the office and talked to the manager, George. He assured me that he would have "Bill" contact me and get it taken care of promptly. It still took another week before "Bill" finally made it to my house. When he did he left a message that he was "more of an adjuster than a roofer" and that the office would be contacting me. I called back to the office the next day explained the situation and was put through directly to George. He apologized and stated that he wanted to make it right for "getting jerked around." And he sure did!!! He almost immediately came over from where he was in Fishers and personally came to my house and fixed the shingles in no time! He again apologized for the delay in service and assured me that he wanted to make it right and make sure that I was satisfied. While I wasn't happy with the response of someone working with/for him, I was definitely fine with the effort he made late on a Friday afternoon to get it settled and done. This is the second time I have used Cochran for minor roof repairs and as long as I can get the help of George to make sure it gets taken care of, I would do so again!

It went great, no problems at all. Luke, who was the project manager, came out, gave us an estimate, we also had a Angie deal which was figured in. Luke put us on the schedule, they delivered the roofing material the day before work was to begin, the roofers showed up on time, were very courteous, and had the roof done by 4 pm the same day. The crew cleaned up the area nicely. This is the second time we have used Cochran and have worked with Luke both times, he is good to work with. We are well pleased with our roof and have had our neighbors complement us on the roof.

Dave Wells was on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. He promptly fixed the problem. He even cleaned a clog in our gutters. Dave was very friendly and explained everything.

Awesome, I was expecting this to be costly (or at least have some sort of cost). We will definitely call Cochran for all future roofing issues.

They did an OUTSTANDING job! The roofers were professional and courteous. The roof was complete in 1 day...AMAZING!! The sales rep, Scott Leigh, was very helpful when discussing the many shingle options available to us, and was knowledgeable in regards to the insurance company process and how it works. I would highly recommend Cochran Exteriors to anyone needing a new roof or any other services they provide.
