I had a leak in my shower.  First I had a restoration company attempt to seal the tile in my shower to fix the leak.  $258 later it was still leaking.  After they were unsuccessful, I had an insurance adjuster out to file a claim.  Four people had looked at my shower and no one could find a leak.  Most thought it was a plumbing leak.  I called Cobra after a friend told me he had a good experience with the owner.  The owner came to my residence and after 45 minutes of helping, he determined that the leak was not plumbing related and it was structural.  The two other plumbing companies charged about $85 for a visit.  Plumbers are not cheap and I fully expected to be charged for his service.  Knowing I needed to look for a structural leak, I found it in the tile the next day.  After months of troubleshooting, we were ready to spend thousands to replace the shower.  I am very grateful the owner of Cobra plumbing was knowledgable and generous with his time.  I will be using Cobra for my future plumbing needs.

We had a plumbing emergency on Christmas Eve about 3 hours before family was to arrive.  Our toilet in our guest bathroom had leaked and ruined the flooring.  I ran out and bought some new flooring and a new toilet and tried to do the job myself.  Realized I was in over my head when I could'nt locate the source of the leak.  Jumped on Angies List and found Cobra was highly rated and in our area.  Called and got the owner who said he was finishing up a job a mile or so away but would stop by on his way home to take a look.  Now this was Christmas Eve mind you, and about 5:00pm at that.  Still, he came by, found and fixed the leak, assembled and installed the new toilet, heck he even helped me install the new flooring in the bathroom.  He was a life saver.  We waved goodbye as he drove away with our old broken toilet in tow as our family pulled in to start our Christmas celebration.  Amazing service!!!!

Unlike the big box providers, you can call Karl in advance and speak with him direct, and come up with a game plan with the actual person that will be performing the work. Had a lot of unexpected issues, I live in Brownsburg which has hard and rusty water and have had a water softner that may not have been doing the job. Once the old water heater was removed and replaced all the years of old deposits got flushed into my faucets, and Karl took the extra time out of his day and removed each faucet, flushing out the residue from years of poor water. There was so much junk in my piping it took three hours. My home is only 14 yeas old by the way. Karl did not charge for the extra time it took to get my plumbing back in order. I will continue to use him and recommend him to others.

Our basement sump pump failed Friday night but we did not discover it until Saturday morning.  The weather forecast for Sunday was tremendous amounts of rain and we had to have this pump replaced ASAP!!!  We had used Cobra Plumbing in 2004 on another recommendation and since we are Angie's list members I checked to see if he was still in business.  I was glad to see Karl listed and the reviews were great so we called him again.  He responded quickly and came out that afternoon.  He took his time to be sure the pump had failed and that there was not another problem.  He replaced the pump, cleaned up, and was on his way in a matter of a couple of hours.  I was so glad he was still in business and was reliable and affordable.  We would definitely use him again for ANY plumbing needs.  Let's support the small guy and forget the big guy!!!

Service was on two separate days, and both times, service was done efficiently and to my satisfation.

Overall it was a great experience especially for a Sunday morning and no upcharges. Karl was friendly, professional and proficient.

They came out the next day after I called and met or exceeded all my expectations.  I shopped around for this first, and their price was the lowest one as well.  Can't beat that - low price for excellent work!  They also cleared a clogged drainage pipe for condensation from the heat pump/furnace/AC unit and this saved me money too as the AC repair company had recommended replacing it.  I would definitely hire them again.  Talk to Karl, the owner.

I called Karl on Monday 05 Jul and described the problem to him. He gave me an estimate over the phone and told me that if I could wait until the holiday weekend was over that $50 would come off of the price. We made an appointment for first thing the following morning. Karl called about a half hour before arriving and reported that he was stopping to get parts and would be a few minutes late. He showed up about 10 min after our appointment time. Karl was a quintessential professional. He was clean, respectable, and polite. He quickly assessed and confirmed the problem and got right to work. He was very tidy, efficient, and did an excellent job for a fair price. We would not hesitate to call on Karl again.

The guys showed up exactly when they said they would. They understood that my tenant could not be without water all weekend, so they made room in their schedule for the repair (same day service). Very professional. They came prepared, so they were in and out very quickly (no "parts" runs). Will use again for all of my rentals, both residential and commercial.
