It went fine. Clock works like new now. He told me it would take 5 to 6 weeks to perform the work and check the clock to make sure it was working ok, but it was ready in less than 3 weeks.

I took in my 8 day key wind wall clock. He overhauled/cleaned/oiled the mechanisms and now it keeps perfect time. I thought the price was a bit steep, but then again he is a craftsman. I waited just about 3.5 weeks for the repairs to be completed.

Both clock and watch were repaired well. It took a while to get them back, but it was worth the effort, his and mine. Price for work was reasonable.

The hands kept falling off! I wonder if they were actually repaired in the first place. It took multiple visits at which time the qusi repairman (hardly a jeweler) announced, oh they fell off again. He was to order new hands and it took months of visits to be in the same condition as the watch was taken to him for repair. If he didn't want to fix it, why didn't he just say so! Poor service NEVER TO TETURN.

The winding mechanism was fixed without problem, but after the repair, the chiming mechanism was faulty. That got fixed without further charge.

Both items were fixed nicely. The clock is an antique and I very much appreciated getting it fixed.

He found the problem and fixed it.  Watch is now running well again. Very fast turnaround.  He explained the problem and the repair.

Mr. Wise performed an excellent job in cleaning and overhauling my Elgin watch.  He was finished earlier than promised and the watch is now running well. Would recommend him to anyone wishing similar services.  Will ask him to repair more items in the future.

It went well. No problems. An individual operation, esoteric, knowledgeable owner, the type of place I like to see continue to make it against the big national chains.

I dropped my watch flat on its back on a tile floor and two numbers popped lose from the face. Took it to Clockwise who had previously replaced batteries while we waited. I asked him to repair the face numbers and clean the watch while he had it apart. He kept it for months, I checked back a couple times. Finally the watch was ready. Numbers were properly replaced, but he hadn't cleaned it. Said he didn't have that on the work order. Disappointing.

I took my new Bulova watch to Mr. Wise to have him remove the links in the bracelet so it would fit my arm. While inspecting it, he removed the film on the face and back of the watch itself (which had nothing to do with shortening the bracelet and rendering it not new (from the seller's point of view) anymore. While I was waiting for the service to be accomplished, I heard a loud blow, as if coming from a hammer. I naively assumed this noise had nothing to do with MY WATCH! Then he told me he would have to keep it overnight. I was reluctant to put my watch of which I was very proud, given to me by my husband, in someone elses hands, but I couldn't wear it unless the bracelet was resized. Upon inspection last night under a very bright light, I realized that there was a crack in the crystal between the 1 and 2 oclock and signs (scratches) that the back had been opened. In pursuing this I feel heartbroken. I literally feel sick, especially if LUXI refuses to grant me a replacement. I am sending them a message also.

He has cared for our anitque Tiffany grandfather clock for years and years and treats it lovingly. He is a real craftsman and totally devoted to his "patients". I would and have recommended him to any who needs antique clock repair.

Took two cuckoo clocks in 1/31/08. Picked one up that was repaired the first of April. It worked for two days before stopping again. Couldn't return to shop until the first of July. Upon my return on 07/02 to have one clock repaired again and pick-up the second clock, I was told that the second clock had not even been "looked at" since I took it in in January! After hearing this, I asked to have it returned and left the other clock AGAIN to have fixed (mainly because I had paid $95 to get it repaired the first time).

He has repaired antique brass clockwork. He is one of the few clockmakers left. It is a good place to buy new timepieces of various kinds. He is a jewel.

THEY REPLACED THE HAND AND THEY CHARGED $18 FOR IT. I TOOK IT HOME AND IT DID NOT WORK. I TOOK IT BACK AND THEY SAID THAT IT WOULD NEED A RECONDITIONING AND THAT IT WOULD BE $150. THE CLOCK WORKED WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN.
