RE: Letter of recommendation for Chase Moore Construction, Indianapolis, (317) 658-6865,
[email protected]. Date: April 14, 2010 Dear Angie’s List: I’m writing to inform you that I highly recommend the home-improvement services offered by Chase Moore Construction. My wife and I would assign the highest ratings in all of Angie’s List service categories. We would gladly re-hire Chase and his crew in the future. Here’s why I’m so pleased with the quality of work and service that Chase Moore and his crew provided in replacing the shingles on the roof of our house: • I solicited bids for the job, and Chase presented a competitive bid. He stood out because he answered my questions, provided a free estimate within 24 hours of our initial discussion, willingly provided references and a copy of his insurance policy at my request, and committed to a start date in writing on his bid. Chase’s enthusiasm and pride in his work impressed me. • After I agreed to hire Chase, he went to work quickly in getting the roofing materials and scheduling delivery. He even called me to ask if it was OK to have the shingles delivered to our house on Easter Sunday because other delivery days were booked, which I didn’t mind at all. • My wife said Chase and his crew started the job early in the morning as he promised. He had a trash bin delivered to my driveway to keep the discarded shingles, and he quickly had the bin hauled away when finished so it wouldn’t be an eyesore to our neighbors, which I appreciated. • Chase and his crew started the job on a cloudy day, the same day Butler played Duke in the championship game of the Men’s NCAA basketball tournament. Instead of ripping off all the old shingles, Chase and his crew wisely replaced one side of the roof on my garage. He finished that side just before it rained that day. The next day, which was warm and sunny, Chase and his crew finished the job. His thoughtful, methodical approach impressed me. I’ve seen other roofers in rainy weather rip off all the shingles and spend hours and extra expense covering the exposed roof with tarps. • After Chase and his crew replaced the shingles, Chase conducted a final inspection to make sure the job was done right, and then he sought my approval. Chase and his crew members swept our sidewalk as part of their process to keep our yard clean. Chase left me an opened bundle of shingles for future use if needed, which I appreciated. Sincerely, Kevin and Jamie Maroney Noblesville, IN
