They did a great job. They were prompt, definitely, they took really good care cleaning behind themselves, neat, tidy, and ensuring nothing was left behind.

Rob and his team arrived on time and was very professional. They removed the necessary amount of sod and remaining debris. Rob and his team was able to accommodate our busy schedule, along with educating us on the up keep. If ever we need more work or have any additional questions, his services are always available. It’s was contacted, we talked about the project, we came up with a price and date, century came over and got the job done. The process was pretty smooth. If I have any more projects in the future I would hire again. Owner is very nice and knowledgeable. Thanks to Century Concrete and Angie list!

Rob was great to do deal with right off the bat and that kept going throughout the whole project, and was very affordable compared to other quotes we got. Removed existing sidewalk and moved it over 3 feet at our request. Also, they added a beautiful 12' extension onto our existing driveway that was complex because of a hill. They made it all look great. The crew showed up early and all were very professional. Rob came out to meet the excavator with his family in the car on a Sunday night just so we could have our project start on time on Monday, without us even having to ask. To say this guy is committed to making his clients fully happy is an understatement. We are big fans now!

Rob and his crew made an absolutely beautiful patio! He answered all my questions and explained things to me which gave me peace of mind. It is obvious that his crew cares as much about creating a good product as Rob does. The final product is so perfect! We are so so happy! One thing I would suggest for future projects would be to lay plywood down where his cement carrier makes its tracks, our yard wasn’t really nice to begin with, but the tracks of the carrier completely destroyed the grass along the path it took and it busted up our pavers. None of these things looked great to begin with. But they look worse now. Still overall I give their work an A rating and I would hire them again because they do good work! It would just be nice if they could try not to destroy the yard while creating the patio. But like I said, the good outweighs the bad by a mile.

I was a little hesitant at first because this is a small company. I got 3 estimates before making a decision and after meeting with Rob, I was convinced that he was the real deal. I ask a lot of questions. I found out that he received his concrete from the same company that the bigger companies do but doesn't up charge as much as they do. And being a smaller company, he has less overhead to deal with. When I contacted the other companies, I talked to a secretary. They contacted a salesman who came out and gave me an estimate and said another crew would do the work. And I had to wait for another person in the area with a small job so they can make more money when ordering the concrete. When I called this company, Rob answered the phone. Rob showed up the next day and gave me an estimate. 3 Days later (on a Monday), Rob and his crew were at my home doing the job. Now, having said all that, He did exactly the same job the bigger companies would've done but the price was much more reasonable. Oh, and he gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member. If you need concrete, you can't go wrong with Rob. Call Him.

Very well. Quoting process was easy. Rob was punctual and professional. The day of the job he and his team arrived by 7:30 am and had the job done by noon. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite during my interactions with them.

With the work the team here did for me, I am very happy with the work Robert and his team did for my family. We had received several quotes for concrete work, all with varying costs. I truly believe you get what you pay for. So, the main thing that led us to choosing R &J Century Concrete team was their caring and thoughtful demeanor and it was clear they did not settle for mediocrity in results. They treated me, my home, and my family as though we were part of theirs.

Everything went smooth and was done on time. I was happy with Rob and his crews professionalism. They were a joy to work with.

Job done in one day, was professional crew, cleaned up all the debris. Recommend this company to everyone. I was very impressed by their work ethic.

Rob was great. A real professional. He was responsive and honest. There are a few spots in the yard that could have used a little more attention, but by and large, he did what he said he was going to do and he got it done within a week.

It pains me to leave this review, as Rob of RJ Century Concrete is actually a nice guy. Good manners, well spoken, friendly, hardworking. But the quality of the work, plus the property damage our home suffered, force me to give a less-than-stellar rating. The concrete tear-out caused much property damage, including damage to our driveway's decorative wood edging and deep gouges to our asphalt driveway from the Bobcat used to scoop up the pile of jackhammered-out concrete. Repaving is needed...and the decorative wood edging would be a nightmare to replace, as it's sunk vertically down into the earth and is paved up to. Our vintage, custom-made, super-expensive, double wooden front doors suffered dramatic damage. The reinstallation of the concrete (to serve as a base for the bricks) went so-so, as the attention to detail didn't seem as good as Rob's demeanor led me to believe it would be. I had to be a bit involved with the forming and reinstallation, which I did as a means to help ensure the best result possible. The subcontract brickmason Rob used was friendly, but definitely did not think the job through in advance, even though I was exceptionally clear in expressing my expectations and in helping to coach him through the layout. There was no mentality of "measure twice, cut once." Unfortunately, this lack of proper planning and execution left me with tiny mortar joints at one end of the porch, but giant mortar joints at the other end. Further, the leading edges of the various steps and levels of the porch are not straight across or parallel to the driveway or home. In addition, the mortar is not as consistently level as I expressed I desired and the overall grading of the porch is suspect, thus water/ice still pond on the porch. This is most upsetting, as this lack of proper grading (slope) is exactly the reason we tore the porch up and redid it. The mortar began spalling (disintegrating) right away because the job dragged on and didn't get completed until the weather had turned cold, thus making it impossible to properly seal the mortar and bricks (which would have required a week of warm temperatures). The brickmason chose to use broken bricks in spots even though I had hundreds more whole bricks available. The brickmason parked a wheelbarrow right on one of our bushes, damaging it. Lastly, the brickmason showed up smelling of alcohol on three or more occasions. At the end of the job, I was left with a ton of concrete and brick debris in our mulch beds, concrete truck run-off (dumping of unused concrete), way too much mortar left on the faces of the laid bricks (which looked white from mortar, not red), gouges in my asphalt, broken wooden landscape edging by my driveway, horribly damaged custom front doors, ponding of water, spalling of mortar and more. This job was far from, as they say, a "Disney experience." I tried and tried to contact Rob to get him and his brickmason to deal with the issues, but to no avail. I did have the foresight to write on the contract that he would make things right if there was not proper drainage, but I doubt he'll want to work with me once he reads this review. [Rob, if you want to make things right, please contact me and let me know what you plan to do. I'll expect good work and a good attitude.] Rob seems like a nice young man, the price was agreeable and aspects of the work were ok, but the end result and the property damage our executive home suffered make us sad. Unfortunately, we wish we'd have hired someone else...or, at the very least, that Rob had been able to better manage his subcontractors.

Just did not like it felt the walk way was to high the company that he had come put down to much it seems as though he used part of my yard as a dump site.

Great! They came out and looked at the area and we scheduled a firm date for the work. Another man who was going to do the demo also came out a couple days before so he would know exactly what equipment he needed to bring on the day of service. On the work day they were here early, started on time and finished within 4-5 hours. It looks great! We are very pleased!! We purchased an Angie's List special for gold members at $1100 for a 10x10' area. We paid an extra $900 for an extra 5 squ feet and gravel along the side of the driveway.

Rob and his crew were great to work with. We had some very old tiles embedded in our old concrete porch, and when I went out to check on the progress, I found 1 that survived demolition intact. Rob and his crew suggested we imbed it into the step up to the doorway in homage to the old porch elements that had been there for so long. When I got home from work later that night, they'd found 2 more pieces intact, and positioned them to the left and right of the first one, which was a different shape and color. I was very surprised, and pleased that they took the time and care to keep the spirit of the old porch alive in finding more tiles, and incorporating them into the step! It meant a lot, considering my husband has lived in this house since he was 6 years old, and those old tiles in our old porch added a nice charm to it. Great job, Rob, Jeff, and Mr. Gregory!!!

It went well. Rob communicated a lot and was very professional. He also worked fast unlike other concrete companies who have secretaries etc. With this company you seem to only deal with one person. I like that. Everything gets communicated better that way. So from scheduling to finishing the job it was all done in a week. I had been waiting for months from other big concrete companies just to give me a quote. I am very happy with Century concrete and plan on using them for a patio next year.

He came out and gave me a free estimate and I hired him due to an excellent estimate in price and referrals. He went above and beyond the call of duty and finished the job in 2 days. My driveway shaped oddly at the end and didn't come across even at the top of my driveway, and he didn't charge me anything for the extra effort. I couldn't be more pleased with the results from my driveway and Robert's professionalism so I decided to sign up for Angie's List just to let others know that Century Concrete is the place to hire if you're looking for a new concrete driveway!
