Brought the microwave in and checked it with the nice lady at the front desk. I paid the small deposit for them to look it over. They called a few days later to explain the problem (only a minor issue). Got it fixed and I picked it back up. My deposit went toward the actual repair cost. Very pleased.

Dropped off microwave for diagnosis. They called back promply to say it was an easy repair.

We have been pleased thus far, they were fast, punctual and so far the repair has been flawless. They were also the least expensive of several shops we checked with.

They are on Georgetown, south of 86th now, so call for current location. I dropped it off on a Monday, paid the diagnostic fee and they said they would look at it Thursday or Friday. I called Friday afternoon, and they said the oven was fixed and that the bad part was under a special replacement program by Panasonic, so there was no additional charge for the part. I picked it up later that day. I was obviously delighted that they could fix it promptly and knew that the part was covered under the replacement program. The only minor complaint is that they didn't call when it was repaired, or I could have picked it up a day earlier.

WHEN MY 3 YEAR-OLD MICROWAVE SUDDENLY STOPPED HEATING ITEMS PLACED INSIDE, I FEARED THE WORST. WHILE TRYING TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, I FOUND A TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR ''SERVICE'' ... 800-BE-SHARP. THIS NUMBER SIMPLY FORWARDED ME TO A CALL CENTER THAT RECOMMENDED LOCAL SERVICE VENDORS, AND ONE OF THE VENDORS THAT WAS RECOMMENDED WAS CENTRAL MICROWAVE. WHEN I ''CHECKED THE LIST'' TO FIND OUT WHAT TYPES OF RATINGS CENTRAL MICROWAVE HAD, I FOUND THAT THEIR MOST RECENT REPORT WASN'T TOO GOOD, BUT THAT THEIR REPORTS FROM YEARS PAST WERE EXCELLENT, SO I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A SHOT. CENTRAL MICROWAVE RESPONDED TO MY CALL PROMPTLY, AND SHOWED UP ON TIME. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY COURTEOUS, AND HE DIDN'T TRY TO GOUGE ME WITH UNNECESSARY REPAIRS ... HE JUST OFFERED A VERY AFFORDABLE FIX (E.G. REPLACE A BAD DIODE). OUR MICROWAVE HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY EVER SINCE. IF YOU NEED A MICROWAVE REPAIRED, YOU OUGHT TO CONSIDER THESE GUYS ... I'M SURE GLAD I USED THEM.

DOESNT KNOW HOW TO RESPOND TO CUSTOMERS. FIRST TIME GAVE US THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS AND FIXED SOMETHING THAT DIDNT NEED REPAIRED. SECOND TIME THEY WERENT READY AND DID THE WORK INCORRECTLY. DID FINALLY MAKE GOOD ON THE SERVICE.

ANOTHER COMPANY HAD SAID THEY NEEDED TO GET A PART THEN NEVER WOULD CALL BACK, MEMBER CALLED CENTRAL MICROWAVE WHO HAD THE PART ON THE TRUCK, WHICH WASN'T EVEN THE SAME THING OTHER S.P. THOUGHT, THEY TOOK CARE OF PROBLEM RIGHT THERE.

HE CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED.FOUND THE PROBLEM WITH OUR MICROWAVE OVEN AND FIXED IT QUAIKCLY.
