Edgar and his crew were great. He responded same day to my request for a quote and came later that day to talk about the job. He got me the quote quickly, later that night, and we were able to schedule for the job to be done 2 days later. The quote was very fair and reasonable. The crew arrived on time and were efficient but fast. The areas they painted look fantastic. Will definitely use them again for future work!

Mr. Castellanos and his crew were a pleasure to work with throughout. I had four companies come out to give us an estimate, and we decided on this one based on price and Angie's List reviews. Edgar was quick to contact us with the proposal and quick to schedule the work, yet flexible when I told him I needed more time to get HOA approval for paint color. We hit a big snag that almost crashed the deal when, by chance, I realized that they were not planning to paint the vinyl siding, even though the proposal said it would be painted. When I pointed this out to Edgar, he apologized for the typo, then took full responsibility. I had never had a house painted before, and didn't realize that siding CAN be painted but is usually not needed, and requires special care to do it right. The crew had already bought the paint for the trim and power washed the house, so I said that I would pay for all that, but I thought it best if we just went with another company. At this point I wasn't sure if I could trust them. (Again, I am a newbie to this house-painting thing!) Edgar said that he would stand by the written proposal and paint the siding at a loss to keep our business, and would offer a 2-year warranty. I still felt that I should go with someone else, but said I would talk to my husband and get back to him the next day. He said he understood, and was completely respectful and understanding throughout our conversation. That evening, he texted me with more information about paint for vinyl siding (choosing a light color, with the right formulation, and maybe waiting for drier weather for better adhesion). He did not pressure me, but he wanted me to know that he would do the job right. OK, so to help me with my decision, I contacted one of the painters who had giving us an estimate, thinking we would maybe go with them. I explained the situation, and he said that it sounded like an honest error in the proposal, that I should NOT paint the siding, and most important, that Edgar must be a good guy to offer to paint the siding at a loss. So we stuck with Edgar, and I'm glad we did. The crew worked quickly and carefully, doing the prep work one day, then replacing bad wood and beginning the painting the next. Each day they cleaned up thoroughly. Edgar stayed in contact with me by text, checking to see if I had any questions or concerns. The work was done within a few days. Yesterday, Edgar came to inspect the work with me. There were tiny areas on the front door around the hardware that needed touching up, and he did that work himself right away. He found a couple of inches of siding that did not get cleaned (which I hadn't noticed!), so he took care of that too. He even took $200 off the original estimate because of the typo that had caused me to reconsider. All this to say: Castellanos Services deserves their Angie's List award. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy, professional, and careful painter.

We used Angie's List to get quotes for the exterior painting of our home. Two of the four companies contacted us, visited our property and gave us quotes. The quotes were fairly similar, but Edgar Castellanos availability and detailed explanation of what we can expect from his company made us feel extremely comfortable. Adverse weather caused a slight delay, but Edgar kept in constant contact with us. The team on-site was very punctual and professional and took the time to answer my questions. They pressure washed the entire area, thoroughly caulked all around the house, replaced a few wood rotted window trims, and carefully prepped before starting to paint. Their finished work looks fantastic and of very high quality. They work has added new life to our home. Next time I will definitely skip Angie's List and go straight to Castellanos Services for any future painting projects! I will be sure to share my experiences with Castellanos Services with my friends.

They did a great job!

Edgar was very prompt and polite. He answered my call right away, came out the next day or day after to give us an estimate and kept in touch. He completed the work in about two days. He did an excellent job with the painting, including pressure cleaning the porch, which is large, painting the banisters and the swings. He even painted the fans to make up for the fact that he broke a blade off of the fan in the family room while doing the work there. He was very apologetic and tried to find a replacement blade, but could not, so he did extra painting on the porch. The dry wall work was difficult and did not come out quite the way he wanted it or that we expected it would look, but there was a problem with the damaged wood under the dry wall. Edgar did the job all by himself and cleaned up afterward very well. He is a really nice guy and an excellent painter. He even came all the way from Miami to Plantation to do the job.

We have had Edgar and his team out on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed by their work! They are professional, reasonably priced and quick! We plan on using them for exterior paint this fall or next spring. I struggle to find good quality people and good quality work so I’m happy that I’ve landed on a successful painting company.

Yanet was excellent!! She cleaned every space in a 4 2 1/2 house Everything is spotless and smelled clean!! This is not a hotel clean this is how you would do your own home!! She even looked up a specialty cleaning co for laminate floors when she realized specialized equipment would be needed to bring them back to new She stayed until the job was done!! He husband who painted our house was a perfectionist she is as well!! Amazing work!!

Edgar Castellanos is a real pro He knows his business and provided assistance with paint selection He paid attention to every detail He was on time for estimate and on time to the job He provided updates and kept me informed when he left for lunch and left at night. He painted more than 1700 sq ft with 15 ft ceilings and some ceiling areas as well. He was honest and friendly His work is impeccable and he went the extra mile without me having to ask him I was so very pleased!!!!

We are very pleased with the services of Castellanos Painters. Edgar was so easy to work with. We got a few quotes for this job. We decided to go with Castellanos not because they were the cheapest, but because Edgar followed up to ensure he answered all our questions and he gave us the attention even though this was a rather small job. The others that quoted didn’t follow up once. Castellanos painters were very professional, curtious, and respectful towards our home. They made sure to cover and tape off everything and cleaned up afterwards. Very happy with the results and will use their services again.
