Paula was very helpful with color and flooring type selection, as well as giving us helpful hints for maintenance. Powers came to measure and was great about answering all our questions. Tom and Tina (tile crew) and Larry and Jimmy (carpet crew) were skilled and hard workers. Everyone we dealt with at this company was very pleasant, communicated well, and was punctual. This was an excellent experience for us.

Everything went well. There were some minor concerns during the installation (one threshold was not replaced and there were some seam issues) but everything was corrected. Powers was very responsive to our concerns and took the time to make sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We love our new carpet.

Very professional company and a delight to work with. I scheduled them about 6 weeks in advance for a specific date and time. I ordered my carpet and pad and had it delivered to their warehouse. The day I closed on my house, they came out and got started. They finished up the following afternoon in time for my movers to move all of my belongings in my home. I took a chance on this contractor that they would accept and store my carpet and pad, and deliver and install it in a short time frame. They met all my expectations and were there every time I needed to speak with them. They are probably the best contractor I have ever used, and I have dealt with many. Would definitely recommend them and I will be using them again in the future.

Great! CM allowed me to take samples home and I checked out a lot! Installation was completed in a timely fashion and in a professional manner. I also had a "wall" of wood done that matched the floor. I am very happy with that.

Very good selection and Powers seemed very knowledgeable when it came to the product. We originally started out think laminate and as we looked at his product and discussed different options we were able to do hardwood for just slightly more.

It went very well. They took the old carpet up and removed it from my house, took it with them. They placed the new padding and carpet in a quick manner. They were in and out on a very hot summer day with a professional and polite demeanor. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get new carpet.

I have used Carpets Mostly for all of my flooring needs and Powers and Paula are great to work with and give excellent customer service. I had a certain price range I wanted to stay within and Paula showed me several samples to choose from that met my budget. She is very knowledgeable about the product. I was given samples to bring home and an appointment was set for measurements and estimate. Powers arrived promptly at appointed time for the estimate, and I scheduled installation shortly after the appointment.
Paula contacted me a couple of days before installation to confirm approximate time the installers would be there to begin work. The installers arrived on time and begin moving out furniture. They were very careful not to scratch my furniture or walls. After removing the old carpet and padding, they sanded any rough spots on the slab and thoroughly vacuumed all the floors before laying the new padding. They worked very hard and were very courteous and professional. The carpet was installed perfectly without one mark on my walls! I was concerned about damaging the paint, but the installer, Mark, was so meticulous about laying the carpet, I knew I could rest assured all would go well. He was a true professional and did an outstanding job installing my carpet. It was very obvious he had been in the business for a few years.
I have recommended Carpets Mostly to several friends because of the high quality service I received with my flooring experience.

Paula gave us a good price and seemed to be knowledgable about the products. Installation was done on time and the installers were friendly. About 4 months after the carpet was installed we started to notice prominant seams in two of our doorways. I called and Paula said she would let the installers know and they would contact me to set up a time to correct the issue. Two weeks later I contacted the store again and a couple days later the guys came over and attempted to repair the seams. After the fix, one of the seams looked worse than it had previously. I went into the store and another empolyee began defending the installers even though he had not seen the carpet and finally agreed to come look at it. My wife called the next day and Paula was very confrontational and unprofessional. Finally her cousin came out and inspected the carpet and decided to use a bridge piece to cover the seam because he couldn't stretch the carpet any more to meet the seam properly. Now I have 2 seems instead of one. Very dissapointing for a supposedly higher end carpet. We were told that the friese would hide the seams better, but now we have three ugly ones. Don't waste your money!

"Customer refers to me as sending my cousin over to make a repair. Yes, indeed, two cousins run Carpets Mostly, as our company was founded in 1964 by our two fathers respectively. Customer, the wife, evidently still complaining about bedroom/hall seam even though husband stated he was satisfied with the second repair. Regarding the nature of seams - a seam is a seam, and no seam is invisible. The seam of complaint is a bedroom doorjamb, where the doorjamb was constructed at a forty-five degree angle. Forty-fives get cut against the grid of the backing, instead of with the grain to accommodate the layout of the home. This is about a 3 ft seam and was re-worked once and looked better. But again, any seam in a carpet can be visible - it is a seam. Next, the confrontational part - because I questioned the wife during a phone conversation and was in disagreement with some of her statements she wants to call me unprofessional . Lastly, a second service call was scheduled, with the husband stating that he was satisfied when the installers were done. Then all of a sudden Angie's List contacted us. I have always wondered why the wife is never involved in any of the follow-up service calls if she is the one who is always unhappy? Additionally, the customer rates quality as a "B" This translates to me a as reasonably satisfied with the installation. One has to question what exactly are her expectations and can they be met? Original work done three years ago. Paula lived up to a Carpets Mostly promise to finish the installation of carpet when I was done with a remodel project. It took me a long time, but she stood behind the offer even though I didn't have it in writing. The installer was a true pro with 18 years of experience and made perfect seams. The overall experience was fantastic and the carpet is wearing great...even with four teens in the house.

Carpets Mostly contacted one of their carpet layers who came to the house and within 30 minutes had removed the wrinkles. The carpet in the hall is now smooth and looks great and I can't tell any work has been done.
