I called and explained that we wanted to protect the top of an end table. He said all he needed was the measurements and would cut a piece and polish the edges. I called him with the measurements and he had it done quickly. I picked it up yesterday and it looks great! He was pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. If we need any glass in the future, we will be sure to call this company.

I called Capital Glass to get a quote on purchasing glass for cabinet doors.  Explained that we are renovating a house in the neighborhood where the business is located and like to give back to businesses who support the Bates Hendricks Neighborhood.  I faxed the various sizes of the glass to Mark and he called back with a quote.  He promptly provided a very reasonable quote for the glass (even less than my contractor had quoted me) and said he could have it ready in 24 hours.  He normally is only open Monday-Friday, but offered that we could connect on Saturday morning (as I work during his normal business hours).  We picked up glass and it is ready for installation.  We will need some tempered glass for shelves in the bathroom and I will be sure to call Mark!

I contacted them by phone.  The person I talked to was courteous and helpful and quoted a reasonable price.  I picked up my glass at their shop at 1424 S East St.

If you are going to have any glass work done, these are the guys to call.  They didn't leave a mess anywhere and were in and out in record time.  They were great to deal with.  They came out and measured and then ordered the glass and put it in.  They worked efficiently and didn't mess around.  These were huge windows and its hard to find people to do good work on windows that big.

When Mom called to ask for an estimate and explained what had happened, about someone coming out and breaking the window out on the front door, the owner said that he liked to take care of  his neighbors and charged her $58 for a glass pane job that was worth over $200.  Serviceman came out and he was very professional, went right to work and did a marvelous job!  We are so pleased and happy with them and what they do for this neighborhood.  He said he is doing some work for Angie now!  If Angie has him doing work for her, then he must be good!Kudos! and Thanks so much for your work.  I will recommend you to everyone that needs this type of work done.  Very much appreciated.  Mom will be 80 in a few weeks, and this meant a lot to her to have someone local who cares and went the extra mile to help her out.(They also bought the condemned house next to their business when it went up for sale, and had it torn down and the land has been cleared and nicely groomed and makes the area look so much better.  Has put a fence up and made such an improvement.)

They were graduated shelves. I heard about them through word of mouth. The work was very good. They came out on time. They cleaned up after themselves. I was very satisfied with their work. It was a half-inch glass shelf so thicker the glass the higher the price it would be. It took a while for them to get back to me. I did not follow up as I had forgotten about it but when he called we were able to connect.

I CALLED TO HAVE HIM DO AN ESTIMATE. HE WENT TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT AND THEN CALLED ME TO TELL ME IT WAS DONE, AND HE WAS SENDING A BILL. I NEVER RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE, AND I NEVER AUTHORIZED HIM TO DO THE WORK. HE JUST WENT AND DID IT. I FEEL HE OVERCHARGED ME, AND I'M NOT HAPPY WITH HIS UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE. I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH HIM TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE BILL, AND HE BECAME IRATE AND USED LOTS OF BAD LANGUAGE AND CALLED ME NAMES. IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM.
