Late on the afternoon of Monday, May 11, I discovered a leaking fuel oil tank in my basement.  I called Capital Environmental Services and within an hour someone was here to check on the stability/control of the leak.  The crew to remove the tank arrived first thing the next morning to drain and remove the tank, and within 3 or 4 hours it was gone.  In short, the problem was solved in less than 24 hours thanks to Capital.  I would definitely use them again for any type of environmental problem. 

Came out immediately, prompt, courteous, efficient, friendly certified inspector. Sampled air at three levels and did a visual inspection that identified a pipe wedged up in back of a furnace that I'd missed and recommended that it be double-wrapped and banded. Turned around a lab analysis and report in three days that showed no trace of asbestos, phew.Highly recommended company.

It went well. They were open and honest with communication. They did a good job with letting me know what was going on.

The technician was on time, knowledgable, and courteous. He took his time to answer all of my questions during his visit and post visit. I like that they have an independent lab get results and refer the remediation to avoid conflict of interests.

I called Capital Environmental Enterprises to remove the oil tank in my basement.  I was pretty certain that I didn't have any oil in the tank, so I didn't pay much attention to the exact cost, but I believe it was an extra $0.50 per gallon to remove any remaining oil.  They were on time at 8am and worked diligently to complete the task within an hour and a half.  Although I didn't have any actual oil in the tank, I was left with the smell of oil in the basement.  Mr. Rowe's suggestion of spraying the area with a bleach/water mixture took care of the smell immediately.  I would definitely use Capital Environmental Enterprises if I had the need for the services again.
