As of two weeks ago, they stated publicly on the news that they would complete any unfinished work. They have not answered my phone calls or returned any phone calls. I have called them once a week since January as well as emailed CindyJ and have not received any response at all. I understand the bankruptcy, but I would like a resolution to the situation. I think they are obligated to honor the commitment as a six year home owner. I also have signed agreement from them stating the work would be done. The last contact we had with them was November 14, 2008.

I WAS INITIALLY CONTRACTED TO BUY A CONDO, BUT THEN THEY CAME BACK AND TOLD ME IT WAS SOLD. AFTER THIS INCIDENT, THEY RAISED THE PRICE BY $4000. NEXT, THEY TOOK ME AROUND TO OTHER CONDOS FOR A TOTAL OF ABOUT 16 HOURS TO CHOOSE WHICH AMENITIES I WOULD LIKE IN MY NEW PLACE. AFTER DECIDING ABOUT PARTICULAR FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT FOR A SPECIFIC PRICE, THEY CAME BACK TO ME AND RAISED THE PRICE $4000 FOR NO REASON. I FEEL THAT THIS PRICE RAISE WAS UNNECESSARY AND IS A BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. ALSO, AT ONE POINT, THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD TAKE $4000 IF "I BOUGHT TODAY," EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS BEFORE WE HAD ALL OF THE DETAILS FIGURED OUT.

WE'RE THE SECOND OWNERS OF OUR HOUSE. IT WAS CUSTOM BUILT THROUGH CP MORGAN BY THE FIRST OWNERS. CORNERS WERE CUT DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE. OUR SECOND FLOOR IS ON A SLANT. DURING A RECENT RAIN STORM, OUR SOFFIT, AND GUTTERS RIPPED AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. THE INSULATION IN THE ROOF WAS COMPLETELY EXPOSED. THEY HAD BEEN NAILED INTO THE WOOD, NOT BOLTED. WHEN WE REFINANCED A FEW MONTHS BACK, THE APPRAISER STATED IN HIS REPORT THAT OUR HOME WAS BUILT BY AN UNDESIRALBE BUILDER. THAT DID NOT SETTLE WELL.

IN THEIR ADDS THEY SAY MORE HOUSE FOR YOUR MONEY AND THERE'S A SOMETHING TO THAT. THEIR QUALITY WAS VERY GOOD IN FACT WHILE THEY WERE NEARING COMPLETION WE HAD THREE WALK-THROUGHS. THEY EVEN FINISHED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.

THE HOUSE LOOKS TERRIFIC. THEY CORRECTED PROBLEMS WE NOTICED TO OUR SATISFACTION. THEY EVEN HAVE A MOVING TRUCK AVAILABLE FOR $15 A DAY. IT'S FOR THOSE WHO BUILD WITH THEM ONLY.

AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF PUTTING UP WITH SWAMPY CONDITIONS, MY NEIGHBOR HIRED AN ENGINEER TO DETERMINE THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM, WHICH THE ENGINEER DETERMINED TO BE MY SUMP PUMP DISCHARGE. I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO GET C P MORGAN TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS OBVIOUS LATENT DEFECT AND SHODDY CONSTRUCTION PRACTICE, BUT THEY ABSOLUTELY REFUSED TO ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY AND CORRECT THEIR GROSS ERROR. I WOUND UP PAYING A PLUMBER $2,900 TO TRENCH MY YARD AND CONNECT THE SUMP DISCHARGE TO THE CITY SEWER LINE, WHICH IS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE. C P MORGAN CONSTRUCTED MY $230000 HOME USING THE CHEAPEST MATERIALS AND WORST CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES POSSIBLE, RESULTING IN NUMEROUS ROOF LEAKS, WARPED WALLS AND FLOORS, A BATHROOM MIRROR FALLING OFF THE WALL AND ALMOST SEVERELY INJURING MY WIFE, ETC. ONLY VERY GRUDGINGLY DID THEY FIX EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT OF THEIR MISTAKES. THEY ARE, WITHOUT EQUAL, THE WORST HOME BUILDER I EVER DEALT WITH OR HEARD OF, AND THEIR ENTIR

THEY WERE EXCELLENT! IF I COULDVE GIVEN THEM A+++ IN EVERY CATEGORY, I WOULD HAVE! THE HOUSE IS AWESOME AND WE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! THEY HOOKED US UP WITH A LENDER AND THEIR SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT TOO! OUR SALES COUNSELOR CALLED US EVERY WEEK TO UPDATE US ON THE PROGRESS AND WHAT WOULD BE DONE THE FOLLOWING WEEK. ALL OF THE SUBCONTRACTORS WERE GREAT! AT OUR NEW HOMEOWNER ORIENTATION, WE FOUND A FEW MINOR THINGS THAT NEEDED ATTENTION, AND THOSE WERE ADDRESSED AND CORRECTED THE NEXT DAY!
