We set up an appointment and they were very good about getting on contact with us to make the appointment. They did not show up on the day they were scheduled, but called and said they were having difficulty with a truck and we made plans for them to complete the service another day. He said for the inconvenience , they would also over seed our lawn at no additional cost. The new scheduled date passed and the service was not completed. I contacted them and they said they would be out the next day. After returning home from work the lawn had been aerated, but not over seeded as promised.

The only frustrating part was that he took a few times before he got back with me. That is frustrating because I tend to put it on the back burner and then time passes before I attempt to try once again.
He did a very through job. He cleaned up everything and took all items away. He worked slowly though and went much longer than the allotted time. He charged me extra, but it was what Angie's List cost ended up being per hour. I liked that he was professional and cared that he did a good job. When he did come to my house, he came on time. He left for a bit, but didn't charge me for the time being gone. I would use him again.

It turned out fine.

I didn't have to pay more than the big deal amount. The job experience went very well. They were very good. They were responsive, timely, and did the job well.

I wanted my lawn aerated so I purchased an Angies List big deal for Broering Landscape. He was very punctual and professional. Very good job!

We purchased an Angies List deal for core aeration. Took a little time for the company to contact me and had issues with the replied message but once we were scheduled, everything worked out well. They did a good job and even seeded some areas that needed it.

Be sure you think about where about your dog's Invisible Fence lies and mark it!... my bad... never thought of it until afterwards. The job done was done professionally and really no complaints!

The yard was a little larger than probably was expected but the special price was honored. The company did an excellent job.

The work was to begin 4/23/12. I was told it would take approximately 5 working days. The work began approximately 5/7/12. Matt would show up for a few hours leave and not come back for days. He completed the patio 7/2/12. He never returned to complete the wall seats, dolumns, and paver pad. He was also to replace 2 defective pavers. The contract also included removal of old shrubs including the roots prior to installation of the new sidewalk. The roots of the old shrubs were not removed. There are multiple places in the sidewalk that need more sand in the space between pavers. I left multiple phone calls asking him to return to complete the job. He has not completed the work nor returned the phone calls. Now I have to find another contractor to finish the outstanding items.

Had purchased a deal. I did not hear from the company
as specified on page, should have been 2 business days to set up
appointment details. After about 2-3 weeks I realized that I never
heard from them. I set an email to the owner of company. He responded
very quickly and apologized saying he did not see our request .
The job was completed within the next few days without further issue. I
would not hesitate to use this company again.

Purchased lawn aeration services from an Angies list and quot;big dealand quot;. Broering was supposed to call me, to schedule an appointment, never happened. I left over 5 voicemails with Broering, over the course of 2 weeks. My calls was never returned, no contact was ever made. When I called to leave to leave my most recent voicemail, I received an automated message informing me that the message space was full, and was no longer accepting messages.
There was absolutely no level of responsiveness, punctuality, or professionalism experienced here. I would certainly call broering landscaping FIRST, before giving them any of your money.

They were prompt and did the work as promised. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleased with the final results.

It's that time of the year and the weather has finally cooled off so I decided I need to get my yard aerated before I seeded my lawn. I searched aeration and his company had a ton of great reports and exactly what I was wanting. I purchased the offer from the deals and buynow section Sept 17, Matt called me Sept 19th and he asked if Saturday Sept 22 worked. Told him I wouldn't be around until late in the evening and he told me he could do the work without me being there. I didn't have to give him any instructions and when I got home that day the job was performed with no problems and it worked out great. I would defnitely suggest using them and purchasing this service as its a much needed thing to do this time of the year!

I do not have a problem with the actual work preformed.... what I have a problem with is his communication skills. I have a signed contract with them to install both the patio and fence. After he put in the fence he disappeared. I must have called him a dozen times and left messages just begging him for a call back. I know with the recent rains he might be behind and I acknowledged that during my messages... I just wanted an approximate date as to when he will be back! He NEVER returned my phone calls. This is why i am giving him such low marks ...I work in customer service and the first thing that is needed is good communication skills...even if it is to say that hey due to weather i am running behind but i will be able to complet your project by---. I have never given anyone a bad review in my life (ebay or Angie's list) ... sorry Matt I have never had a contractor frustrate me as much as you had over the past two weeks. If you are so busy you should take your coupon off of Angies BIG DEAL... maybe then you will be able to service the customers that you have now.

Matt's schedule was very busy so initial communication/connection took a couple of days, however, once he provided an estimate and we agreed upon the work he was good about keeping in close contact. For us Broering Landscape was a second bid for a job we already had designed by a landscape architect. Matt's bid for the work came in significantly under the price quoted by another landscape company. The project was extensive and required over two weeks to complete. Matt did all the work himself (with an assistant some days), his quality and professionalism were great.

I called and scheduled appointment and the next week they completed job as stated. Job well done!

It was a little hard to get in touch with Matt at first, but he came when he said he would, and did a great job on our yard.

Matt is a great guy to work with - very professional and extremely responsive. I contacted him on one day and on the next day he was at my house taking a look at what we wanted to accomplish. I told him I would like to see the actual pavers and he went over Menards, got some samples and brought them over so we could see how the colors would blend with the house and landscaping. The final job was very well done and I am very pleased with the results. I like the fact that Matt himself executed the job.

the owner went over my back yard twice since my ground was so hard and he did not charge me any extra when he most defiantly could have if he asked before hand. He was very nice and knew what he was doing will be in contact with him again to do more work!

Matt came over to go over the work that needed to be done, explained every bit of work that would be included in his estimate and later on sent his estimate by email. The previous owners of our house had planted a lot of trees and bushes but had let them grow haywire and had not done any cleanup in quite a while. So it was quite a mess. Matt and another employee worked over 1.5 days to get the job done. Both of them were hard at work all the time. Matt did a great job doing the pruning, cutting off the tree branches and the edging too. Our backyard went from looking like a forest to a beautiful, walkable and presentable garden. The lawn edging did a world of difference to the look. They did a very good job with the cleanup too. The last evening of work, it started raining and a bit chilly too but they kept working as long as they could and Matt came in the next morning to finish off whatever was remaining.
We had bought his mulching deal off of angies list and we used that service too. Matt charges only for the amount of mulch used and not more.
It was a lot of expense on our side but it was a pretty involved job and we were very impressed with the results.

They just showed up and didn't schedule, which worked out fine. They did a great job.
