This is how you dream of a service call going. I called around noon on a Friday, they had someone in the area on a call already, and two hours later my door was fixed! It not only needed service but the cable was out of whack and the door had gone completely out of alignment. Charlie fixed all of the above for the price of a regular service call. I’m already a loyal customer.

John did an amazing job of quickly assessing the situation and offering me options. I chose to do repair, but I asked about the cost of a new door for future reference. He had everything in his head. Looking at my current door he was able to give me a price in an equivalent door with installation included. Fair price for both repair and replacement. Very professional, experienced, easy to work with, genuinely considerate and kind. A real craftsman! It was s pleasure to do business with this establishment from start to finish. When I called there was no audio menu; a very nice lady took my order without the need for transfer. I later learned John was the owner. The repair was done promptly and efficiently. It was like a throwback in time to when great service was the norm. I highly recommend them!

Called BRGD (original installer over 20 years ago and only company to ever service my doors) to replace broken spring. John pointed out door was delaminating and explained how it would soon self destruct. Ordered new door and is got worse (as predicted) the day before the July 4th holiday, called BRGD. Originally scheduled for install on the 6th or 9th, Lisa was able to fit me in early on 7/5. There was no charge for the first spring replacement. John was prompt both times, and the work and service were excellent. John & Lisa are great people and BRGD is very worthy of your consideration.

The job went very well. John gave me a quote for the project over the phone and that was the final price. He and his son came out when they said they would (same day that I called them) and replaced my broken spring and the cables which were frayed. The work took a little over an hour. This is a smaller, family owned/operated biz so I wouldn't expect them to offer 24 hour service - but that wasn't needed in my case. I called some of the other, larger franchised outfits in town and their prices are much higher - happy I found Broad Ripple Door.

Called them for service. Was told the technician would be back in soon, and would phone me back that day. Never heard back from them. A few days later I phoned again. Person who answered phone took info & scheduled for AM two days hence. The AM of the appointment, the Technician phoned, asked if I needed an estimate on a new opener, or what. I explained thoroughly that everything had been working fine until I put a new battery in a remote - and I managed to then make both Remotes stop working. He said he wouldn't be here prior to noon - would be just a little past noon when he could get here. He NEVER SHOWED. Never phoned. He told me he'd be b

I called at about 8:00 am and spoke with Gary. Gary arranged to be at my house between 11:00am and 1:00pm the same day.

Gary showed up at 11:00am and got the job done in about an hour.

I've used this company to replace my garage door opener in the past and Gary did that as well. I've been very happy with the work he's done.

Came home to find that the coil on the garage door had snapped. Left a message after business hours and got a call first thing the next morning. He said he could make it out in 30 minutes, which was better than anything I expected. Replaced the coil, cleaned and lubricated everything, and only charged us $150. Would certainly use him again and would recommend.

My garage door was not opening and closing correctly and appeared to be unbalanced. Broad Ripple Overhead Doors fixed the door, replacing rollers and bearings at a cost of $273. During this process I was advised that my 30-year-old garage door opener would most likely not last much longer. Since I knew replacing the opener was inevitable, I decided to have them install a new one. The initial work was done on Sept. 8 and the opener was installed on Sept. 16. The cost of the opener and installation was $344 for a total cost of nearly $620. Although I have no knowledge of what these services would cost elsewhere, the cost did seem a little high to me. But I was very happy with the work and the installer.

Called them when my garage door became stuck in the open position.   I could see the drive chain had lots of slack.
I called and left a voicemail about 9:30 am.   The owner called me back in about 15 minutes, and said one of his technicians would be over soon to take a look.
Greg arrived about 11 am.  He was clean and had a very pleasant manner.   He  quickly diagnosed my gear/sprocket assembly was damaged but the unit was repairable.  I left him to do his work.   He knocked on my door within an hour, said he was done.
He had replaced the gear/sprocket part, completely cleaned and lubricated the entire door and opener unit.  When he pressed the button to lower the door, I was amazed how quiet the door closed.   It's never been that silent since I bought the home more than 7 years ago.
The total charge was just $154, and the door was fully operational less than 4 hours from my original call.
I had used this company before at a prior home, with a similar good experience.  I'm glad i called them again.

Arrived promptly and repaired my garage door, which was on the fritz.  I was very pleased with the service.  He spent a lot of time making sure it was exactly right, testing and re-testing to make sure he wouldn't have to come out again.  You know how something always seems to start working AFTER the repairman arrives.
