BRIAN MARCUS PAINTING

If there was an A+++rating available to give to Brian Marcus Painting they would have it from me. Last month when I decided to put my house up for sale my realtor recommended a few things that needed to be painted and gave me Brian’s information without any hesitation. I reached out to Brian and he made the initial contact within a few hours. Every communication after that was the most expeditious and reliable I have ever had with a service provider. He evaluated what I needed to be done and gave recommendations and thoughtful suggestions. I never felt pressured to do anything that I didn’t want to do. His spot on recommendations were reflective of his knowledge and many years in the business. He re-painted 2 bedrooms and afterwards you would have never known someone had been in those 2 rooms filled with furniture and new carpeting. Everything was left spotless. The paint color he helped me choose blended in extremely well with the rest of the upstairs and you would never know the color wasn’t the same from the home built 18 years ago. He also did touch ups around the rest of the house and he remembered to do places I actually had forgotten needed to be done. But he remembered because he is that thorough. He also painted the trim on the outside of my 2 story home and did a meticulous job. I was out of town during most of the time and he sent me a picture of when he and his team were working on the outside. He came back a day later and went around himself and touched up everything just to make sure all looked as good as it could. His prices were extremely reasonable and the bonuses were his truly caring about my home, listening to what I wanted to accomplish with the work, his warm demeanor and excellent customer centric service. He made an upcoming busy time for me so much easier and pretty much stress free because of how he conducted himself and his business. Without a doubt you will not find someone better than Brian and his company.

Brian is the best painter around! He does a perfect job painting, is fast, and is affordable. I can always count on Brian to go a great job.

Brian came highly recommended by many neighbors as well as by many Angie?s List members. He lived up to the hype and was great from the initial phone call through the finished products!! He was not only a great painter (along with Rafa), he was so helpful when recommending ideas and colors. He was so patient and accomodating throughout the entire process. I would recommend Brian to anyone and plan to have him paint again for us in the near future!

It went great except for one problem.  This is an older home and we have dark baseboards and dark crown moldings.  There is  now paint on the edge of almost all the molding.  Brian mentioned that if I see paint on the molding it was from before, but that was not true.  I painted the master bedroom green, and there was beige in the room before.  So it know that wasn't the case.

Very detail oriented and provided excellent service.  Kept me abreast of his progress and easily got him back to do more ceiling work after textured ceiling repairs had been made.

Brian met with us to help select paint colors and found a crew to work a weekend to meet our contractor and move-in schedule.

Brian did a great job painting our kitchen, living room, and entry foyer.  He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself.  He is very pleasant to work with and we will use him again for exterior painting.

The overall experience with Brian was great.  He came out and performed the estimate and completed the work with great quality and timeliness.  The only minor drawback of the experience was that he ended up needing a second coat of paint which he did not quote us on initially.  We had followed up about that and he was confident he didn't need a 2nd coat.  That said, he started the job and realized one coat wasn't going to do it so we appreciated his honesty in reaching back out to us (we were living out-of-state at the time).  He only ended up charging us for the paint or labor, I cannot recall which one.
We highly recommend using Brian for your future painting needs.

I couldn't have asked for better work that was done in a very timely way.

Our realtor referred us to Brian when we were looking for someone to paint our new house. We looked for quotes from 2 other people and he gave us the lowest fee amongst all. He gave us a flat fee quote for the entire job which includes the paint. His paint estimate was pretty good as we have enough paint left over for touch up but not too much. He worked very quickly and efficiently, with remarkable results. Other people gave us 7 days approximation to finish the job but he finished everything in 3 days!!! He's also very professional yet friendly, very easy to talk to.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to do a painting project.

Having had Brian previously to paint our interior we contacted him again for our home's exterior last summer.  As always, price was reasonable and fair, communication and timeliness throughout the process of getting the estimate and job completed was superlative.  We would highly recommend Brian and his crew always.  Our house looked like new when they were done!

There is a good reason Brian is well-known among the realtors in Indianapolis (I am a realtor and a property manager.)  His work far surpasses any other contractor by miles.  He is efficient.  Shows up, does the work, which is excellent, and leaves.  He stays on a strict schedule because he is always in demand.    Very disciplined.
The quality of his work is excellent -- he doesn't scrimp, uses premium paints (Porter or Sherwin Williams) and always does two coats and makes sure the coverage is totally even -- you won't see skimpy spots if you check the walls at an angle, which I always do.  Everything is even, no thin spots.
HE IS PROMPT.  If he says he will be threre at 10, he's there at 10.  As I mentioned, he is in demand and as a good businessman, keeps to a schedule. 
I have used him on several homes that I manage and may have him paint a couple of rooms for me between Christmas and New Years, which is his slow time.  Prepare to book ahead.  He probably won't be able to start work the day he calls.  You will need to get on his schedule, which is usually one or two weeks out, unless he has a cancellation, which is rare.  He is usually in demand, but as I said, he keeps strictly to his schedule. 
Personal:  He is easy to work with and talk with.  Integrity.  Does what he says he will do.  Leaves no messes behind for the owner to clean up.
The lowdown:  He is the best in Marion County, and I find his prices reasonable.   You won't be disappointed.Josie

I called Brain in the midst of a busy time of year for him. He politely told me that the wait would be about three weeks, but I was in no rush. True to his word, three weeks later he was there! He did a great job. I felt perfectly comfortable having Brian here while I was at work. In fact, he was here during the hottest week of the year......on the very day that our AC went out. He was a good sport and worked through it! I will most certainly have Brain out again. I have referred my friends to him!

I will use him again in the future. We have contacted him to do some interior painting work.  

When Brain came for the initial quote, I was so impressed by his pleasant personality and no hassle quote! He had the easy going personality of that of an old friend. I was comfortable with him immediately! He understood completely what I was after. I was perfectly at-ease with having him come to do the job while we were on vacation. When we arrived home, the house looked great! The painting was super-precise! When he returned for the payment a few days later, he touched up a couple of places with no complaint! I would most certainly hire him again!

Great! We were very pleased. His quote was extremely reasonable and included the paint. He was very quick, clean, punctual, and precise - everything you could want in a painter. He is also friendly and personable. We will be using him again.

Wonderful. I am very hard to please but Brian did more than make me happy. His painting was perfect. I could not ask for anyone better. He knows what he is doing. He's on the job and wants to be sure your happy with his work. If I trusted him, so could you : )......

The job went better than I expected. He got finished under the estimate and in less time. He was very friendly and we know the same people because we live in the same neighborhood. His work was very professional and I don’t have any complaints at all. They came in, they cleaned up, they didn’t make a mess, and they were very unobtrusive. I was very happy with them.

Brian called me back within a day to set up a time for an estimate. He arrived as planned and scheduled the work quickly. On painting day, he and his crew arrived promptly at 8:30 as promised and were done by 3:15, even though some areas took two coats to cover the old paint. They were fast, neat and courteous. The price was exactly what Brian quoted -- he supplied ceiling paint and left us some for touchups; we supplied the wall paint. We've already asked for an estimate on exterior painting. Will definitely hire again.

Brian was very easy to work with. He came out and gave an estimate in a timely manner and always was quick to return my phone calls. He and his crew did an awesome job with the painting and cleaned up all of their mess. I would definitely hire him again.
