BR Nails

My friend and I "needed" a last minute gel manicure on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm. Every place we called was booked or closed. We had heard from a friend that she uses this place all the time, so we thought we'd give it a shot. They were busy, but they were open until 8:30pm and got is in within 5 minutes. The man who did my nails was quick, but he paid close attention to the manicure. He took time to go over my cuticles more than once, and checked everything over as he went to make sure everything looked good. He double checked with me multiple times to make sure I liked the color and the application. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Best of all, it was the best price I found of all the places I called beforehand!

When I first arrived, there was a bit of a wait - it was after 5pm during the week. They have electronic massaging chairs for you to sit during the pedicure. The technician was great - asked me if the water was too hot/cold, and took his time not to rush through the process. The polish even looked pretty good after a couple of weeks.

I explained that I have been wearing nails for over 15yrs and since loosing my regular tech. I have been searching for a new place I felt comfortable with. My nails were in terrible condition, due to trying a new type of nail. They were very very gentle & gave me suggestions to help get my cuticles in good condition. It was clean!! No rushing, No talking around me to someone else. I will go back and I will recommend this business.

They were very reasonable but I didn't like the overall atmosphere in this place. It was beautifully decorated and well stocked. We had to wait sometimes and I didn't like that. That s not a big deal. The price was reasonable.

I got a pedicure -- just a walk-in, did not have appointment. The people there are friendly and it doesn't take long to get in. Pedicure is good. The chairs are old and need to be replaced. Other than that, it's convenient and fast.

Although they can be very busy on nice days, walk-ins are always welcome, which is nice, since I never want to schedule an actual appointment. I've always been pleased with the results. I think almost the entire family works there, which can cause some drama sometimes, but it's also charming.

My girlfriends and I were out for an afternoon without kids and we finished with a mani and pedi at BR Nails. The pedicure I received was not the best... the soaking tub felt and smelled like it was full of bleach, I evidently had a cut on my foot and it felt like I was soaking in acid. The man giving me a pedi was annoyed that my feet were ticklish and he just looked so mad when I would fidgit around while he was massaging my feet. He also kept his head turned to the front door the entire time, even while giving me my mani. He would talk to everyone in the place and everyone who came in for an appointment too. It is a miracle my nails looked so good! Not that I needed attention, but it was borderline rude. You can't beat the price and my toes and nails did look pretty!

It was very clean and everyone was nice but not overly helpful. I walked in without an appointment and was taken with no wait. I've had better mani/pedi's but for the price and for a quick walk-in, but this was adequate.

The lady was very nice and helped me pick out a color for a wedding I was going to. She was very helpful and polite.

This was my first manicure, so I had no idea what to expect. I was seen promptly, but the whole process seemed a little too business-like. The manicurist did not talk to me at all, which was slightly uncomfortable. She didn't ask me any questions about what I would like, just set to work. She refused to give me advice about color when I asked, just pointed to the wall of colors and told me to choose. This all seemed kind of strange, but in the end the nails looked fine.

I have been to this salon twice, becuase it is recommended on Angie's List, but both times I was disappointed. In the first instance, one of my nails was not well-filed and the polish was not evenly distributed. On the second visit, the man doing my pedicure cut my small toe;it was tender for a week. In addition, the young child of one of the family members who work there spends time in the shop, and she and I were having a charming conversation when the man doing my nails yelled at her and made her go in another room. I was uncomfortable.

I usually go to another nail place in Broadripple, but it was close to closing time when I went in one recent evening, so they wouldn't help me. I went down the street to BR Nails, and despite that they have the same closing time as the other place and it was now a few minutes later, they gave me a pedicure. The guy did a nice job, and the shop is impressive:clean, and has what seems to be new equipment. No need for me to go back to the other place.

The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. They have TVs situated over the pedicure stations, as well as current magazines, so you can relax while getting your pedicure. Great vibrating chairs with heat too. I made the mistake of going somewhere else that was a little bit less expensive, and ended up getting a nail fungus. I've never had an issue with the cleanliness of BR Nails, and they always provide a great, long-lasting pedicure.

Clean comfortable shop. Service was great and friendly. Minimal wait as a walk-in.

GOOD NAIL SHOP. IT HAS ALSO BEEN WELL-VENTILATED EVERY TIME I HAVE BEEN THERE, WHICH IS A BIG PLUS.

EXCEPT FOR A 20 MINUTE WAIT ON MY SECOND VISIT, BOTH EXPERIENCES WERE BETTER THAN EXPECTED. PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. I WILL RETURN.

THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICE THAT I'VE FOUND. VERY CLEAN FACILITY. RECOMMEND APPOINTMENT, AS THIS IS A POPULAR SALON AND THE WAIT CAN BE LONG. GARY IS GOOD, BUT TAKES PHONE CALLS WHILE WORKING, WHICH PROLONGS THE TIME IT TAKES TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE.

PRICE AND QUALITY ARE GOOD. FAMILY RUN BUSINESS.

I HAVE USED BR NAILS FOR ALMOST A YEAR. THEY ARE ALL GREAT THERE, BUT I WILL USUALLY WAIT FOR GARY OR TRU. GARY DOES A GREAT JOB SO I RARELY HAVE THE "LIFTING" PROBLEMS THAT CAN OCCUR WITH ARTIFICIAL NAILS. THEY HAVE A VERY CLEAN SHOP. IT IS A WALK-IN FRIENDLY PLACE, BUT BE AWARE THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE A LONG WAIT. BY THE WAY, THEIR PEDICURES ARE HEAVENLY. I'D SUGGEST THAT TO ANYONE, MALE OR FEMALE!
