The work has yet to begin after waiting nearly a year. Things started out well but have gone significantly downhill as we get closer to the work. Communication has been poor and lacking. Delays continue to occur based solely on incompetence. The pricing has been questionable as they add on random charges at the end. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The project went well at first, but the column started pulling away from the wall after 3 years. Also a sitting wall started to lean. After many calls I could not get this company to come out and fix it at their quoted cost. Highly disappointed with BPI!!!

We were putting in a pool at our new house that had just been built. We worked with JD to design the project which included the pool by others, retaining walls, a fire pit, beds, landscaping and a lawn since it was a new construction site. We met with JD to review his proposed plans a couple of weeks after our first meeting. I cannot stress enough how good his plan was and how appreciative we were during the project that he repeatedly rejected our bad ideas to jazz up his design! His plan was simple and graceful. Left to our own devices, the plan would have been less simple and certainly less graceful. After the pool went in, they started working and executed on the plan. We liked the guys, the work and the execution and end product. They cleaned up and touched up so I could not ask for much more. They even helped us mediate a dispute with our irrigation guy who we inherited from our home builder. We would use them again and will recommend them to others.

At first, we were very pleased, but after the pavers finished- not good. Once the pavers were done with their part of the job, there was scattered or no communication as to when the landscaping would begin. In the meantime, we had serious water and "mudslide" issues that ran into our new pool and pool cover due to poor grading and planning. After many calls, pictures and emails were sent to them, our job is finally complete. It was extremely expensive, frustrating and stressful experience. (It took 3 months to totally complete our job). We lost money every time it rained from buying pool chemicals from the mud draining around the pool cover and into the pool. We had to shop- vac and clean our cover each time (which is permanently stained now from the mud running onto it). The pool company, PermaPools, (who I highly recommend) had to come out several times to help clean the pool as well. In the end, which seemed like forever, one of the owners came out to see the issue for himself and corrected the drainage and grading. We are pleased that he came and solved it, we just wish it hadn't taken so long. We are underwhelmed with the total quality, performance and attention to detail from BPI, but glad the owner stepped up eventually to take care of it. It is a relief that they have finally finished, and we can enjoy our space now that summer is coming to an end.

BPI installed lighting, fire pit, seat wall and patio pavers around our swimming pool approximately 5 years ago. The design is beautiful but there have been problems that BPI will not address. They sanded the patio with wet sand which did not adequately fill in the spaces between the pavers. They proceeded to seal over the wet sand which resulted in gaping holes between the pavers. This allowed water to get in between the pavers leading to rapid erosion. The result is a sinking uneven patio with many loose pavers and low spots where water has settled. There are big gaps in certain areas and the patio has even pulled away from the retaining wall in several places. It looks awful and much older than it is. I have called multiple times during the warranty period, and beyond, to have someone come out and assess the situation but get met with the same response every time. I get the secretary who says she’ll connect me to speak with JD or Tony. After a minute on hold, she tells me they are in a meeting and they’ll call me back. Then they don’t. Ever. We also have a cracked stone that we have been trying to get repaired for several years. I’ve even taken pictures of it and sent them to their secretary. I still have the broken stone. There is another stone that they replaced shortly after they finished the project which sticks out like a sore thumb because they didn’t bother to come back to seal it. We’ve also had issues with broken landscape lighting, that while even under warranty in some cases, took over a year to finally get them out here to service. There are more issues, but I think you get the picture. We have given up and regret using BPI because of their abysmal service after the sale. Once they get your money, they move on. I would never recommend BPI to a friend or neighbor. There’s just way too many other better choices out there. Now I must find someone and probably spend big $$ on repairs to a 5-year-old patio because BPI didn’t do the job right the first time and wouldn’t come out to make repairs when they were small.

I think the design was really good and bad was poor quality work, which I think that they have pretty decent review. I think we just got really bad crew, that came in and some things they forgot to do and I think they came back and fixed so I just feel like the plant installation was poor so may be they could have done was just spend more time planting natural plants they way they had them spaced out and everything was poor.  They planted some plants in the lawn area, different species of what they said they were going to do so I guess what they could have done differently is better care installing the plants and following our landscaping better and pay more attention to the landscape design. They still have not responded to couple of things that they need to fixed and I have been in touch with them four times I think since the job was completed about plant that still need to be fixed. They planted the wrong type of bush for among others, it is the wrong species and they keep pushing off saying that they will come out and fix it in the summer, end of the summer and I keep touch in base with them, they responded and but it just didn't get done. I would not use them again.

Company arrived & started work on time communicated with us throughout, cleaned up each day, produced excellent result, workers were very polite & Helpful.

Very good! They showed up when they said they would and timely addressed any concerns I had throughout the project.

I thought they did a great job. I liked the quality. They had very good customer service. If you have any issues, they return back and try to fix things. The work was amazing. I would definitely recommend them. They're not the cheapest but they really do a good job.

BPI did a great job of working closely with us to develop a design that was aesthetically pleasing, functional and within our budget. The original design included a wall, but unfortunately, put the project out of our price range. However, BPI was quick to go back to the drawing board and present us with a design that better fit our needs. The overall quality of the patio is top-notch, with high-quality pavers sourced from Reading Rock. Plenty of paver options (size, color, shape, etc.) were available, offering us an opportunity to find a look we were excited about.
Although the project was completed relatively quickly once it began, taking a little over a week, it was pushed back several times despite being planned for months in advance. This was a bit disappointing, as we felt the company had more than enough time to ensure the project was started on time. For reference, we agreed approximately half a year in advance that the work would begin in early October, but the team wasn't able to actually begin until a full month later, in November. This prevented us from being able to enjoy the completed work before winter weather hit.
The actual work itself was completed with great precision, and the company worked closely with us to ensure that we were happy with the quality of their efforts. A project manager stayed in close touch with us throughout the entirety of the job, and was very responsive to our requests to fix any issues we saw. BPI was even gracious enough to help replant grass that was killed as a result of the heavy machinery necessary to do the work. Additionally, BPI buried a downspout that they did not initially realize would be affected by their design. This work did not cost extra on our end, which makes sense given that it was their error in design.
BPI works directly with a sister company to seal patios for customers who request it. The sealing work was performed at a high level, but unfortunately, it took a bit too long for the work to be done (approximately one week after the patio was sanded). We recognize that weather can sometimes get in the way of work being done, but with better planning, we felt like both the patio work itself and the sealing could have been completed more quickly.
If you are interested in having a paver patio installed at your home, BPI is a great partner. The quality of the work is superb, and the company handles itself very well. However, recognize that their great service comes at a cost, and you may run into unforeseen scheduling issues that push your project back. Despite these minor issues, overall, BPI is a great company to select for this type of work.

We were very pleased with the process and especially the outcome.  JD was very responsive to our texts and emails from start to finish.  All the workers were very courteous and respectful and left the jobsite tidy every day.

Design process was thorough, many good suggestions beyond our thinking. Excellent drawings & renditions. Kindness & professionalism from everyone involved. Excellent results up to & beyond our expectations.

JD was great to work with and provided us a very creative design for our patio.  He took into account all of our needs, requirements, and design style.  Once construction began, things went very smoothly.  I was home almost everyday to watch the process and honestly can't say enough - it is clear these guys love what they do, really paying attention to detail, and were very good at it!  Brandon was also great to work with, stopping by on a regular basis and checking on progress.  While we did look around at other companies for this service, I am very happy we chose BPI.  Although BPI is not the cheapest, I would much rather pay extra for high quality, superior professionalism, and no headaches.  Would definitely recommend them to friends and family, and plan to use them again for additional work next summer.

Tony inspected my patio on 8/22/13 and said he would get back to me with an estimate.  I never heard from him again until the estimate arrived via email 60 days later on 10/21/13. 

We decided to delay the service until spring and contacted Tony on 4/14/14 to ask if he was still interested in the job.  He said yes and Kathy would contact me to schedule the service.  We never heard from Kathy but my wife came home on 6/9/14 to find a man pressure washing our patio. 

We asked about the repairs and he said that would be done by someone else.  On 6/12/14 someone showed up to do the repairs, again without notice.  To top it all off, they added $75.00 to the original estimate for the repairs.

I called Kathy and she told me repairs were not included in the estimate even though the entire purpose of having them come out was to do the repairs.  She told me she would have Tony call me.  He never called but he did send a revised invoice to delete the $75.00 charge.

They are fabulous. It's great, no complaints. They were always professional and always reliable. It is great value for what you get.

BPI is a professional company and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with them.

BPI was amazing.  They performed all of the work ontime and on budget.  The crew was very professional and respectful of the property.  They cleaned up each day at the end of their workday, and they couldn't have been more efficient.  Four years later and the patio is in perfect condition.  We have had no settling or issues of any kind, based on the extensive work they did before laying the pavers.  We will use BPI for any future projects!

It went very well.  They were easy to work with on the project, and did a good job cleaning up when finished.
