Bone Dry Roofing

It has not been leaking since. It looks very good. They called back about three times to make sure everything was still good. I appreciated the follow-up.

They did not come at the scheduled time, and did not provide the promised proposal. Did not return my voicemails.

Everything went very well. The response to our call was great. The estimate was given quickly. Materials were gotten immediately and repairs were started right away. Damage was done to our roof from flying branches during a storm. One branch made a hole in the roof. Bone Dry made the necessary repairs immediately. The gentleman was polite, knowledgeable and quick. We could not have asked for any better service.

I would never use them again. The service was okay, but I had to give them a lot of direction on what I did or didn't want done. I think they overdid some work and I still had to call another contractor to do the complete job. They were making guesses. I'm on a slab and they were trying to tell me that I had a dirt ground. I still had to pay them plus go through some insurance claims and deal with the insurance company. I still have an outstanding cost with them because I'm mad. The quality of their work wasn't very good because I had to have what they did redone. They did come out right away which wasn't a problem. They also did a roofing job for me many years ago and it was bad.

I had several providers give estimates and decided not to use this provider. It just seemed he rushed the estimate and I was not comfortable with that.

Great. Had a leaking roof where flashing was not installed well. Description of work: Removed shingles of impacted area. Custom made new flashing. Installed flashing and replaced shingles. Work was done well. Leak was fixed. Jim Hopper (on the day of the estimate) made a temporary repair until the permanent fix could be made. Very appreciative for that. Would definitely (and have) used Bone Dry for other work. Very quality workmanship.

The representative arrived for the estimate within the time frame agreed upon. We discussed options and he provided me with resources to review those options. We ended the meeting with the representative informing me that he would complete the estimate and provide me an accurate quote. That follow up never happened and the quote never came. As a result, I went with another provider.

Bone Dry is the only company that has performed roof work at my residence. I called them for the first time in a couple of years to provide me with an estimate of replacing several missing shingles. My experience scheduling an appointment was simple and convenient and they came out the following week which I thought was reasonable given the light nature of the work needing performed. As unusual as it is in the service industry, the estimator came out early which was just fine by me as I was off that day. He did have the courtesy to call and let me know he had arrived early and asked whether that would work for me (which it did). After the inspection I was shown photos on his smartphone of the missing tiles (a few of which I didn't realize from my 'street view' were even missing because they were at the very top where the gable ridge(?) meets. Everything was straight forward and the information I needed was in hand in under a minute with no pressure to contract with them. My past experiences with BD have been good and I feel that they've always been good to work with. I always seek out a second estimate but am sure to balance the inexpensiveness with the quality that I feel I can expect between two companies. I likely will give my business to BD and if so, I will update my review to reflect my experience with them.

Bone Dry Roofing, Inc were very professional, they were on time, their crew was very helpful, and very nice. They knew what they were talking about. I was real close to telling them they were fired and getting someone else because they delayed me 3 or 4 days to start the job due to the weather which I understand, however, if you're going to tell me you're going to be here on Friday and it'll be done in one day then don't show up three days later saying you're going to do the work. That irritated me because I took off from work and lost money to accommodate them. They did call and say they weren't going to make it. Roof wise, they did a very good job, the quality craftsmanship was absolutely excellent. They did a great job removing the gutter guards to put down shingles but they didn't do such a great job putting them back. I fixed it myself. I'm 62 years old and not supposed to be on the roof but did it anyway because I didn't want to have them come here and I'd have to do it anyway. I'm really disappointed about that.

I know our realtor suggested them. They came out a year ago. The job was good. They did a good job. They were a good company. They were prompt and reliable. They were more expensive than others.

I really liked the guy who came out and gave me a quote. He explained things very well and even took pictures so I could see what the issue was. They were really backed up with repairs but they made sure to get someone out to me, I believe he was usually a salesman but they pulled him to do repairs. I really appreciated that they took care of my problem quicker than quoted. The repair guy was really nice as well and very efficient. I gave a 'B' in responsiveness because they lady who took my initial call was rude and seemed irritated to even be on the phone. Other than that I would recommend this company.

They were outstanding. They were on time. They did exactly what they said they were going to. They gave us a code and and an estimate. They talked to us the whole time, each step of the way to be sure that we were comfortable and happy with everything. They were all inclusive as far as we started the roof and chimney assessment. The chimney was pulled away from the house and we had to dug it under and push it back. Bone Dry roofing was just spot on everything. Their price was standard. It was what it was suppose to be.

The roof doesn't leak - for the first time in about 20 years - and three roofs later. Tried other roofers and they could not get it right. I recommend Bone-Dry.

I contacted the company after a hail storm. I knew they were busy but I'd like to have our roof inspected asap. I received a response saying it would be a few weeks; I followed up and asked for a status... never heard back. I sent a last request today because I need to move on with this if they are infact too busy to even email me back in almost a month. Email communication listed below. Bone Dry has come to the rescue for several of my real estate clients. They are fairly priced roofing experts that were able to work within the time frames we needed.

The young man that came was so nice and very honest. The work was done quickly and professionally. They were in and out and cleaned up well before I even knew it.

This company was very professional. They gave me a quote that was very accurate. Arrived when they said they would. Very polite. Gave me a detailed explanation of what needed to be done. Left the work area clean. I was very impressed and would definitely use again.

They were fast, efficient and professional. The only complaint was my lilies of the valley got trampled on one side of the house. To be honest, the workers might have thought they were weeds. They said they will replace them if they don't grow back. Two sides of my home are surrounded with hybrid tea roses and they were not damaged at all. Bone Dry not the lowest estimate, but they were by far and above the most professional, trustworthy and dependable people we contacted.

Salesperson was professional and responsive. Once I accepted the bid I emailed a scanned signed copy of the repair proposal to a Katie Jackson ([email protected]) to schedule and specifically requested in the email that the work be done on a Wednesday when I could be home. I didn't get a response for several days so I had to call again confirm that she had gotten my email. After speaking to several office staff I was finally able to speak with her and AGAIN specifically requested that the work would be done on a Wednesday when I was off work. She told me that was fine and that the repair person would be contacting me to schedule. Later that week (on a Friday) I came home to find that the work had apparently been done and that the repair person had left a message on my home phone just an hour or so before coming out. The scheduling/customer service portion of this business leaves much to be desired. Apparently there is not adequate communication between the schedulers and repair persons. I should not have to make multiple requests to ask for the work I am paying for to be performed on a day when I can be present... and then to have those requests be ultimately ignored. I have no way of knowing if this is a one time failure or just poor business practice and for that reason I will not use this company again.

Small hole in roof from tree limb. Bone Dry was able to cleanly and quickly replace the section of roof and put down new shingles. The service was prompt and well done.

Went fine until time to pay. My husband was sure the contractor agreed to take what insurance would pay. When we got a bill for the remainder, he called the contractor. The contractor got belligerent and wouldn't talk calmly with my husband. We started paying the company, but before they had a chance to receive our first payment, we got a threatening letter from the contractor's attorney. There was no need to contact an attorney and threaten us.

New roof, new gutters, exterior paint job - no issues - great work and everything else. I do feel I was taken advantage of on the siding repair job. This was done after my roof was done. I asked for a $700 discount on the roof which was granted. Siding repair job was for $620 to repair a bubble in my siding about 7 feet off the ground on my 2 story house. The work was to take a small section of the siding to re-attached the bubbled area to the house. When the actual worker came out to do the work, they said the estimator that pricedt he work did it incorrectly. Should have priced it to remove whole 2 story wall of siding to fix it correctly. My new adusted price increased $630 to $1,250. I had gotten multipe bids and nobody ever told me that the entire wall of siding had to be removed. I think the siding repair price was adjusted at the last minute to make up for roof discount. But since everything was done, I did grant to proceed with extra work and adjusted price. Grade on price is a C due to last minute siding adjustment.

We were happy with them. They did the work that they came to do.

Arranging services and communication with this company was an awful experience. There was no continuity for communication throughout the process. It seemed that a different person was responsible for each step of the process, since the company was supposed to contact us, we were not provided with adequate contact information for who to follow up with, and it seemed that the staff did not have an effective process in place to communicate between themselves either. Routinely we were assured that someone would be contacting us to accomplish the next step, yet time and time again, this did not occur. When we finally did obtain a cell phone number of a crew worker who was supposed to be the person coming to complete the work, after several times calling, we were not able to reach him and his voice mail box was continually full so a message could not be left for him. When the work was finally done to our satisfaction (that is the roof not leaking any more), the staff had to make three separate visits. On 2 of the 3 visits, workers who did not speak enough English to adequately communicate with us were sent to complete the work. At the time the work was actively being done, it was not clear to us whether the work was what had been agreed upon during the estimate process or previous visit. One of the additional visits was caused by the staff failing to notify us that they would be doing the work on our house that day. They needed access to the inside of the house, but failed to notify us that they would be coming. They called while we were at work to notify us that they were there and to ask us to open to open the door. The company also sent us a bill BEFORE the work had been completed with a document saying something to the effect that we agreed that the work had been completed fully and without any problem. Our roof problem was identified during remodeling work which was occurring indoors. Before the indoor work could continue, the roofing issue leading to the leak needed to be corrected. Due to the completely dysfunctional process of arranging and receiving services, our indoor project was delayed by many weeks. I am pleased that the problem was ultimately fixed, but the process to get to that point made dealing with this company not worth it despite the wonderful experiences described by our coworkers who have also used this company.
