Bone Dry Roofing

They put chemicals on my roof to kill the moths. The young man even went out of his way to do minor additional work to protect the roof. The pricing was appropriate and they were very professional and timely.

They came out stripped the roof and replaced it for a competitive price. They were very professional, polite, and on time for the work. They were also very neat and did not leave any mess.

Bone Dry did a GREAT job and did have somethings that needed to be fixed and did in a timely manner.

Told agent that I wanted flat roof job completed During the Spring and not the winter. Office Person called me on Friday afternoon to ask when in the Spring I wanted to schedule the Job! I was out of town over the weekend and planned to return call when I got home! When I got home that Monday there was roofing in the driveway and two Men on the roof'. I called the office and they were surprised to learn that the job Was in progress! It was not listed on the Schedule! One of the men on my roof spoke no English! The other explained that their Friend had dropped them off and would Return later! They worked until after dark! I assumed they were finished ! The next day When I went out to look, I realized the roofing Was white when I asked for black! When no further workmen appeared, I paid the bill! Less than a week after the installation , We had a rainstorm'. The roof leaked! I called and left messages all day, but received no Response until the next day! I was furious! Once repairs were made, there were animals walking Around under the roof! I was advised that someone From my family must have stepped through a space between the flat roof and the main roof creating a hole! They assured me that the hole was not there when the flat roof was installed! He sent a picture of the hole! I assured him that no one from my family had been on the roof for two years! He said that they would make a repair! Even today, there are animals under the roof! I was never contacted again about the full roof replacement'

We had hail damage to the roof from a storm this spring. Insurance company wrote estimate to for a partial replacement. Called Bone Dry, their inspector said I need a whole new roof. Had a great deal of difficulty scheduling time for Bone Dry to meet with adjuster. Finally, got a time scheduled and Bone Dry did not show up. Adjuster said it's not unusual for roofing company to not show up when they know there is not as much damage as their estimate shows. Very disappointed in Bone Dry.

I have been trying to work with Bone Dry to get my roof replaced for the past four months. Although the the staff I've spoken to have been very friendly and professional, the communication has been lacking from the company, and if I don't make contact with them, I don't hear from them on the status of my job. I had to submit my signed proposal three times, over a six week time span, which pushed back any progress on getting work started. Finally, my insurance information was reviewed, and Bone Dry is suppose to be able to negotiate with my insurance company, but that process has also been long and drawn out. It takes days or weeks to get a return phone call and when I do hear from the company, no progress has been made on my job. I feel that Bone Dry has taken on more work than they can keep up with, so they are prompt on getting customers a quote, but then to actually complete the project takes longer because they are over their head with projects. At this point, I'm considering going with another company so I can actually get my project completed!

They came out and said they needed to replace a certain number of shingles. When they made the initial estimate, the guy who came out was a supervisor and he said he could not match the exact color, but he showed me shingles that were a reasonably close match. When the roofer came out to actually perform the work they said that he had some shingles that would be a better color match and I deferred to his judgment. He came back at a later date, I was not notified when he would be coming out and he did not announce his presence when he was here. He went up and installed the shingles and then let me know when he was done. When I checked it out, I saw that the shingles did not even come close to matching the color of my roof. They looked bad. I was never shown what shingles they were actually going to put on my home. When I was billed for it, I called them to express my disappointment, leaving a message. I felt they made my house look worse and I did not feel I should be liable for all the charges. When they called back, after just a few moments the representative was YELLING at me over it. I ended up having to hang up on the representative. I got a call a few days later and the employee apologized. It did not seem sincere, and it really did not make up for the fact that my roof looked bad and he had screamed at me over the bill. I ended up paying half just to get it over with. I would not use them again.

We had Bone Dry replace our roof about 7 years ago. During a hard rain this spring, we noticed water leaking in our garage. We called Bone Dry to take a look and they didn't see an obvious area with a problem. They had a crew come back and do a water test to try to see where the weak spot on the roof was. The test did enable them to see where the problem was. Scheduled a crew to come back and make the necessary repairs. Since they had installed the roof, they waived a portion of the fees.

Prompt, courteous, cleaned up after themselves. Great job.

It turned out I had not damage. They came when they said they would, and they were very professional. If I would need the roof done, Bone Dry would be the ones to do it.

My experience with Bone Dry was a mix of positive and negative. On the positive side: - The work they did appears to be quality work. - They stood by their original quote even though it failed to include some necessary material/work. I didn't know about this until one of the workers pointed it out to me. He could have reused the existing material, which would have looked terrible, but wouldn't have cost them anything. He was up-front enough though, to point out their error and the company made it right without charging me extra. - The subcontractors who they hired to install new gutters were wonderful and I would hire them again. On the negative side: - The office staff were terrible at returning phone calls. I had to call repeatedly to speak with them. I know they were dealing with the hail storm. However, I had already been working with them to do work on my house and it felt like they were letting me hang while they went after new work. - I was told that after the roofers were finished, they would use a magnet in the yard to clean up stray nails immediately after finishing the roof. They did not. I picked up a couple dozen nails in a very small space, then I picked up more on my driveway. Fortunately I found the ones on my driveway before a tire did! Eventually, after I asked a few times, someone came out and cleaned up the rest of the nails. Part of the reason I chose Bone Dry was because the salesman assured me they would talk with the insurance company right away. I seemed to have fallen through the cracks though, because it took a number of calls on my part to make sure that happened. Again, I know they were dealing with the hail storm, and they want to capitalize on business when they can. But customer service for existing customers shouldn't suffer while a company goes after more customers.

They may be pricey but it is well worth it.

Estimate was much higher than 3 other estimates i received.

They showed up on time and did the work professionally. The guy was very nice.

I contracted for a new roof, gutters and screens due to hail damage. They arrived on Monday at 7:30 a.m. and worked until 8:30 p.m. to install the roof. On Wednesday, they installed the new gutters. Both jobs were done great. They have taken my screens for repair and once those are repaired (there is a back-log on screens), they will install them. All of the workers were very professional and went above and beyond on all of the work. Both Tim and Mike were great, particularly with follow-up. This is a first-class operation and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. In fact, I am getting an estimate from them for painting all the trim on my house. That's how much confidence I have in Bone Dry Roofing.

I was very pleased with Bone Dry Masonry. What I liked is they were honest about what I needed. They quoted the price but they also told me other ways I could take care of the issue so I didn't have to spend a gazillion dollars. I really appreciated that. They kind of told me what to look out for. To me, they're in there for the right reason. I appreciated their approach. If that stuff comes up, I would use them again.

They did an excellent job! My husband took the invoice, but it was covered by insurance. Their price was fine I guess. I did not do any comparison shopping, because my husband cancelled it. We have used them before, and we would use them again.

Bone Dry Roofing was a great company to work with. From my first call to them I found their staff very professional. When the appointment was made for the estimate the person was on time, courteous, understood what was needed to fix the hail damage. The work was scheduled quickly. The team showed up on time and completed the work on time. They were hammering the nails by hand, but it was not overwhelming. The team cleaned up after themselves very well. While the roof was off the team added insulation to the house. I saw a significant decrease in my heating bills this year. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend the company.

They did such a terrible job doing my roof. I had a roofing inspector come out and inspect the roof and ended up having it replaced. The corners did not meet up correctly allowing birds to come in as well as water. The wall in my closet had crack run clear across it from the roofing job. On the pool house roof the inspector said they had pieced it with 5 pieces of roofing and was illegal workmanship and needed replaced as well.

The estimator Tyler Hergott, shared with us detailed drawings he made while on our roof. He listened to our requests but also interjected his experienced opinions about our "dead valley" problem area, type of shingles and their advantages and disadvantages. He also described how the actual work day would proceed, including covering and protecting shrubs and windows, when materials would arrive and how scrap materials would be removed from the roof and property. The Bone Dry office personnel were also helpful when we needed information. On installation day 5/1/2013, workers arrived prior to noon as we were notified in a courtesy call. Workers took great care to protect our home and property, even laying a pad between the ladder and metal gutter so as not to scratch the gutters. The existing Gutter Helmet was left in place as per our request and correctly installed by placing in under the new shingles instead of on top as per the original installation by another contractor. Two layers were removed and care was taken to replace plywood where needed and before any roof materials were installed, workers went over the roof, adding nails to sheeting where needed. Thirty square of new shingles were HAND NAILED. It was amazing to watch how efficiently the work was performed. Ice and water shield was installed as well as new flashing and a ridge vent for better air circulation. A job site foreman kept track of the work in progress and a supervisor arrived near completion time for a final detailed inspection before the crew left and while the crew did a complete walk around, picking up any missed nails. A bathroom vent was added to the roof and connected to the fan motor even without my asking and just because it needed to be done. Attention to detail is a quality characteristic of Bone Dry, from the original visit to the actual installation. I am currently considering having Bone Dry do some masonry work to my chimney. I have complete confidence in their company based on my experience and the recommendations of my neighbors who have used the company for their roof installations. We have had many compliments on our new roof and we are completely satisfied.

Everything was amazing and we loved them. They were incredible and we are using them for our new house.

Small leak in kitchen that was from an overhang outside our kitchen door. Called bone dry and they came out within 2 days on 2/22. They gave me an estimate, I agreed to the work and they told me they would set something up in 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks I called because I didn't hear from them, they said they would pull my ticket and put it on top. Another week went by and I didn't hear from them so at 3.5 weeks I called and was told someone would contact me. At a little over 4 I called again and was told that I was assigned to someone and he would call me when he was coming my way. At 5 weeks I contacted them through Angie's list and amazingly enough someone was at my door the very next morning. He was very nice and did a great job. I had no problem at all with the quality of work, just the responsiveness of the company. I think they should figure out a new way scheduling.

We had a couple estimates for my mother in laws home, to get a new roof. Bone dry was the only company that came out to give the estimate on the day/time that was agreed upon. Being punctual and honest are two important factors that I base my decision on, and Bone Dry proved true to both. We received an estimate, and an estimate on time to do the work. The workers were quick, efficient and did great work. They backed up a dumpster for the tear off. They made sure all the torn off shingles were cleaned up, and the dumpster was removed. The roof was then installed, and the roof looks great. I really like the fact that they hand nail all the shingles, and the shingles have a good warrantee- and if anything ever happens to the shingles, we know who to call. They also have an Angie's List discount.

I called to get someone to come out and do minor repair work. They quoted me a time two weeks from today. This was after waiting on the phone for 5 minutes to talk with someone. I will not use them.
