Bone Dry Roofing

Bone Dry came promptly and gave us an estimate on needed repairs, including photos of the damage. They noticed damage to masonry and recommended that we have it checked out. They included a discount for using roof shingles we already had. Although we did not need to be present when the work was performed, they made sure to confirm the scheduling with us.

He diagnosed that it did not have any hail damage.

I was called back 2-3 days later and told the work was backed up and it might be the first week of December till I could get the insulation done. I was told to fax in a signed proposal, but I had some questions and wanted to see if I could get a firm date and if I could find out exactly how long the work would take. I called November 14 to see if I could get some questions answered. The phone rang and rang but no one answered even after many rings. I really don't think the organization is very responsive at all since it took multiple times to even get a roof inspection and then days before I was contacted and now no answer to the phone call. (One would think at least a voice mail would take a message.) Based upon this, I would be very reluctant to hire the company.

They replaced the decking and rebuilt the roof, and even matched the stone on the chimney to our house when they fixed it. We are very picky and they were very patient.

I purchased my home in 2012 and had problems with shingles blowing off my roof. I had shingles replaced by two other providers prior to call Bone Dry. Bone Dry inspected my roof and recommend a solution to my problem, by replacing the roof .

Bone Dry came out and inspected and reported on the condition of our roof. We have seen some stains in the ceiling of an upstairs bedroom. I spent some time in the attic and identified where the water was coming from, but needed someone with the equipment and skills necessary to scale the roof and find out why. I was provided with a good explaination of the situation as well as the general condition of our roof and its current life expectancy. I was also provided with pictures of some of the additional concerns identified. They included some masonry issues wiht a chimney and some missing vent caps. The quote for repair was provided clearly and we had the work done w/in a week. Bone Dry was excellent about promptly contacting me to schedule and follow up. I know there were some less expensive options even w/in the AL offings...but Bone Dry has a great reputation for a reason and they proved it again. Thanks!

I used a coupon. I had a couple of loose shingles that were replaced. Didn't try to upsell me on other services and told me that the roof was in good shape.

Repair work was done to the soffits of our 100 year old house. Maintaining the look of the house was important. Most companies wanted to replace the soffits, but Bone Dry repaired them nicely.

I had some shingles balled up on the roof between the roof vents. Another vendor gave me an estimate of $575 to repair. Grant checked the attic and assured me my roof is good for another few years. While in the attic, he did have some suggestions regarding the bathroom vents, which I appreciated. He said the roof repair would be their minimum change. I asked if I would benefit from the current Big Deal Roof Maintenance package. He said yes, I could buy it online. It was raining that day and he someone out to fix the roof within a few hours. They did a great job. I am going to have them back to do some work on the attic vents.

This was the 2nd date Bone Dry was scheduled to come and give me an estimate on a complete re-roofing, and failed to show up for the 2nd time. My wife took off work as I did to be here for an 8:30am estimate, and no phone call or anything. After not showing up the first time, and my giving them a 2nd chance, you would have thought they would have been Jonny on the spot, or at least called last week to re-confirm. We will not be calling them back for a 3rd attempt or recommending them to anyone.

They found the problem and were able to fix it. We have not had any issues since.

They did a good job. The work that they did on the roof seemed to be satisfactory. They were very nice.

We had Bone Dry roofing come out to look at some water damage coming from the roof. He confirmed that it wasn't our roof, he said it looked good. But it was our chimney that needed LOTS of mortar. He took pictures while on the roof and showed us how bad it was. He then took care of contacting the masonry side of the company to have them come out to take care of it. Even though the roofer didn't do any work, we felt very good about the services they provided.

Mr. Judd, We spoke briefly on July 29th regarding the attached proposal (attached) that I accepted on July 15th. When we spoke, I shared that I was disappointed that after two weeks of accepting Bone Dry?s proposal, I had not heard anything from Bone Dry to start the scheduling process. When I called in to try to start the process, I was transferred (this is what I was told) to the only person in your organization who can do this scheduling, Kerry Quarles. Unfortunately, when I was transferred, I wound up in a cell phone voicemail that did not identify who?s voicemail or even what company?s voicemail it was ? thus my discussion with you. You directed Cody Herget to me who followed up promptly. Cody indicated that I would receive a call from Kerry by the end of the day (I believed it to be by 5:00pm). Cody asked that I call him back to confirm that we were moving forward. I called Cody back at about 5:30 that day to let him know that I had not heard anything. I received a voicemail (attached) from Kerry at 5:50pm scheduling my roof replacement for 8/12/14. I called on 8/11/14 and left a voicemail (I think as his mailbox still does not identify him or Bone Dry) to confirm or update for the next day. I received no returned call. I then called and left another voicemail on 8/14/14 to try to learn when my project would occur. I have still not received a call back. Because I had used Bone Dry several times in the past, I never even obtained competitive quotes. Obviously your business is doing very well ? congratulations! At this point, however, it is apparent to me that Bone Dry is too busy for my business and I am rescinding my acceptance to your proposal. They did great work. They had a good clean up. It was done timely and the quality of the work was great. Their price was higher than everybody else, but the quality of the work was A; you get what you pay for sometimes I think.

We went with them because it has a warranty on the roof. They were really good. They did a great job. It took them about a day-and-a-half and we had to inspect it and everything afterwards.

Overall, very satisfied. Bone Dry provided a report of inspection and work perform as part of package. Provided estimate of additional work needed (work that was expected). B ratings on Responsiveness and Punctuality due to length of time it took to schedule initial visit. One reschedule was required and the follow-on work took some time to schedule. However, spring is a busy season, and so we didn't feel like we received poor customer service.

The insurance covered the roof and we painted for the painting. We had four other companies. They didn’t treat us like individuals and not like we we’re stupid. They sat down and explained everything even though they do tons of houses and lots in our neighbourhood too. I felt like they actually cared that we knew what was going on and that we were good with what was going on. They explained all the different roofs. They worked with our insurance company and us really closely. They were neck and neck with other companies as far as prices were concern but their customer service that did it. We are actually going to use them for some masonry work for the chimney.

They are a good professional company.

They came out for the estimate on the drywall. When they drywall contractor came out they indicated they could not perform the work for the estimate given. The drywall supervisor called as we had the company stop the work. They came back out and re-evaluated the pricing and honored the estimate. I also received bills for work not yet done. They did good work, but the billing and administration was so bad that I wouldn't use them again. They are just too hard to get in touch with and schedule with.

On time, very professional, answered all questions, worked well with another trade professional, got the roof on before the rain, cleaned everything to satisfaction.
