Bone Dry Roofing

Replacement of shingles and skylights was perfect. The only issue was that nails which were not collected. However, overall the work was well done. The main issue was with the gutters. The gutters did not have the correct pitch for draining rain water. We have had to have the gutter manager out to our house 4 times. It still seems that the water still collects in the gutters. I would recommend this company for shingle replacement but not for replacement of gutters and down spots. Overall our experience was a rating of B.

Great! they were fast-had roof replace in about 6 hrs. Kept us updated throughout the day on progress. Protected landscaping. Cleaned up really awesome crew & experience.

Weather windows were tight showed up when it looked like a good day started straight to work, tore roof off and put back on and mess cleaned up right as storm came in, great job.

Ruben called me 45 before arrival then protected all windows and doors. He texted me pictures throughout the day. They finished on time. Worked well with insurance claim agent.

We have used Bone Dry before and have had an excellent experience. Recently, however, we have tried contacting them to perform some work but have not gotten a response. We have tried calling several times but no one has reached back to us.

They arrived, prepped the area, removed and replaced the roof in one day. Cleaned up and were very professional.

Since my location was 45-50 miles from their business address I visited their web site to check if my location was in the service area and it appeared to be well within it. When their rep called to cancel the job saying it was outside of their service area, I explained that the service area map appeared to include my location. He then said something to the effect that it wasn't within the service area for jobs contracted through Angie's list. That statement baffles me, it certainly wasn't noted in the Angie's List offer. I am very dissatisfied with the way I have been treated by Bone Dry Roofing: Job canceled on short notice, **** & bull story about why, no refund of my payment for work not performed. I would have pursued this matter sooner, but illness in the family dictated otherwise. Jerry R Davis

Overall, the repairs went well. Other providers had told me I would need to replace my gutters, but Bone Dry said there was no reason to replace them, as everything that was wrong could be repaired. I appreciated their honesty, and this was significantly less expensive, which was fantastic news! They are very busy, so it took a few weeks to get on their schedule to get the work done. I was not pleased with the cleanup from the gutter cleaning they did. They left quite a bit of debris in my back yard and on the side of my house, along with some torn up shingles from the roof repair. The gutters needed a lot of work, and look SO much better now. We also needed some shingles replaced that had been torn off by a close by tree (that had been recently cut down). While they did repair them, I can tell where the repairs were done because the new shingles they put on look a little askew to me. Still, everything is fixed and the price was right. I'm sure that people who don't know where the repairs were done wouldn't be able to tell at a glance.

Sent request for quote for new roof and was set up for a Wednesday April 20th. Appt scheduled at 3:30- Rep called to say he was running late. Not a big deal except I had just left work so when I got the message I had to turn around to go back to office for a bit. Rep was nice and spent about an hour on the roof taking measurements etc. Asked if he could come back later to review everything since he had another appt.- I said sure and he said he would be back at 7:30. Again, he was late. He spent about 15 minutes telling us about the company and then said he was going to go out to his truck and get the numbers together for us. He must have been out there for 40 minutes and by that time it was 9 pm. When he came back in the house there was still no estimate. It was strange. He was also an out of state bone dry rep, not a local rep, which was also strange. When I asked about it, he said it was due to volume/busy time. He left and promised to be in touch next evening, which he did call. When I called him back Friday morning, I finally had to point blank ask him- are you going to give me a quote? Which he did on the phone-but would not send me an itemized estimate via email. And the verbal quote did not include the gutters which I had requested. He said that wouldn't be much and that he would have it all by Monday. Monday comes and he leaves a message that he is going o turn it all over to the local branch and that he is having a hard time getting the numbers together. I'm not sure what the point of all that was. After that I gave up on this company- they obviously don't want my business. Wasted multiple hours of my time and still no quote or estimate date for job.

They did a very good job. on time. very nice and cleaned up after themselves.

Went perfect, they came out I told them what the issue was. He listened to what I had to say, asked me a few questions, and updated me about recent news on my builder and roof. He was only here for a few minutes, came down and gave me the quote with pictures of missing shingles attached to it. He was very honest about what his thoughts were and what needed to be done. I ended up not having any service done, but if I would ever need some in the future without a doubt I would call them back. I am extremely happy with the professionalism, quality, and how quickly he worked. He was also 15 minutes early to the scheduled appointment time. If you need any services they preform call this company first.

Nathan inspected our chimney to help us determine the source of a rain leak in our attic. We were very impressed with his detailed analysis to include a video that showed us the substandard work by the contractor who had added the chimney extension many years ago. There were several cracks in the misaligned brick, missing tuck pointing, & an inadequate chimney cap. All bricks that were replaced match the original brick. We are very satisfied with the entire process - from customer service, demolition, rebuild and cleanup. We have had many rainy days this spring with no leaks!

We had purchased a $149 deal for roof inspection and minor repair. Bone Dry contacted me within a day to schedule, and Hector came to do the work a few days later. Hector was very professional, made a repair we knew needed to be done, found another exhaust pipe needing a new collar and sealing, and also took care of a gutter clog. He showed photos of all the completed work and made himself available to answer any questions before leaving. $149 is not much to pay to correct problems, but it still felt a bit high for essentially 30-40 minutes of work, particularly given that i have a small one-story home and someone with a much larger home would be paying the same price. $99 or $129 seems more fair for a house our size, and I'd recommend the company considered tiered pricing based on house size and floors for future deals. But overall we remain very satisfied and will use Bone Dry again the next time we have roofing needs.

A great crew with a very responsive on site crew leader. Our scheduling had some issues but these were resolved fully to our satisfaction and it was clear the company values its reputation and its work and is looking for repeat customers. From now on, Bone Dry will be our go-to company for all things roofing related. The new roof looks fantastic and has a finished appearance that looks extremely professional. I highly recommend.

The service itself was great and very professional and I would use them again. The only thing that they could work on is the communication between the teams that come out. The insulation team was supposed to be on site while the roof team was there. They weren't because the insulation team had training the morning that the roof team scheduled. This caused a few people to need to come back at various other days to wrap up all of the work. There were no major interruptions or issues it just left me feeling like I had to call a bit more and know more about what was going on than I normally would have wanted to deal with. That said, the work was great. The technician who came to my house for the initial inspection was able to give me the most information about what was going on compared to other companies that I called out. They understood the problem immediately and didn't need to call a few extra 'experts' to have a second inspection, when other companies did. I went with bone dry and would recommend others to do so as well because where there bid was $2-300 more, they came out as experts and knew the problem and what they would do to fix it. They also were very happy to work through and fix all of the issues and explain what/why they needed to do it. It was a big bill, but we got our money's worth.

Prices were wonderful. The roof is beautiful and I am getting complements. They have responded to all of my questions and concerns about the roof after work was complete. Also did a great job cleaning up after project.

First, I had gotten another estimate & after finding out how bad my roof was & more rain was expected, I needed to get another estimate ASAP so I could make a decision on who I would hire. After hearing how desperate I was, Tracy at Bone Dry had an estimator at my house within a day of my original contact with Bone Dry. Bone Dry had the right price & Jeff Kumler had me sold that same day he gave me the estimate. Work was scheduled for Monday, March 7 but the forecast for rain delayed the start until Tuesday, March 8. The crew arrived at 8AM as promised and began. The production supervisor Nick Cuthbertson was professional, courteous & very helpful. With such a large job, they had to return Wednesday March 9 to finish the job. All work & cleanup was done by 1:30pm. There were a couple of casualties inside due to the wood being removed (light fixture fell off & broke, light in bathroom needs some attention) but Bone Dry will be sending me a $50 gift card to get these fixed. While I didn't know exactly what to expect, the mess was great but Bone Dry got everything cleaned up and good as new. I was amazed & pleased. I highly recommend Bone Dry if you need a new roof or attic installation (which they installed for me a couple of years ago). ,

Called on 2/29 to get an estimate for some shingles that blew off our house during high windows. Left a message on 2/29/2016 and have yet to receive a return phone call.

Our roof leaked due to rain and snow causing damage to one wall and part of the ceiling. The Bone Dry estimator was prompt and very professional. He noticed our roof had improper venting over the bathroom vents; roof vents instead of bathroom vents. This was not up to code. He gave us a timely estimate and worked with our insurance company to get the project for the vent repair and interior damage scheduled. Our insurance company was terrible (spotty communication, arguing over what was fair pricing, and stalling our claim for two months!). Bone Dry worked with them patiently to explain the repairs needed. When approved, Bone Dry sent Marvin and his crew to inspect and repair the drywall and paint the entire garage and ceiling. The drywall and ceiling repairs are perfect; you cannot see where the repair was made. The crew painted our garage in a timely manner, perfectly matching the prior paint, with no spills and a perfect paint job performed. Marvin and the crew were very professional, friendly, and explained the process and materials used for the repairs. Another gentleman came out to replace the roof vents and the tile around the new vents. Again, this job was done perfectly and timely. We are extremely happy with Bone Dry Roofing and would definitely use them again! We recommend them highly.

They came to do the water testing to find out where the leak is. They took lot of pictures and said that they diagnosed the problems and they came and did some work. Kept invoice for $2700. Thankfully, it rained and I heard lot of heavy dripping noise. So, we called them again and said after they said they fixed it is leaking a lot more. They took for ever to come and do another testing. They came for another water testing in January and found that they guys who came to work on, messed up the flashing and so our attic and closet got damaged because of their mistake. They accepted it and said that they will come and take care of flashing. They took care of it and removed the tarp which they put to avoid leaking. Yesterday, it still dripping hard. They made the situation worse. When I call Jim Hopper who the guy Nathan said in-charge, Jim is telling that Nathan is responsible and he is just roofing guy. He is telling that they will come and put the tarp. My house is getting damaged in the meantime and the situation got worse. Now, they think that the cap could be a problem. So far, they did not schedule anytime to fix the problem. Nothing has been resolved yet. We are so frustrated. They damaged my attic, closet and I am worried about Mold. Finally, I called Nathan left message, called office and left message. Still no solution. In the meantime, my house is getting damaged. I am still waiting for them to come fix the problem. After I wrote this review, they sent two other people and one they say is production manager Jeff Dalverny. He came and said that now the CAP is the problem and it gets to replaced. To begin with I never had damage. The damage is due to their fiddling with flashing. To begin with my attic never leaked and after they installed flashing it started leaking. After they came back and fixed it it still is leaking. They covered the chimney with tarp which covers the CAP and still I hear leaking. I got fed up and arranged for individual home inspector yesterday and he said that the flashing has to be redone as it is the cause of the problem. They said they did the flashing twice and made the matters worse and still they are yet to finish it. To begin with there was no leak and now the ripped my flashing, did a bad job, made my house leak and still did not fix the problem and blaming it on the CAP. They charged me $1500 for the tuckpoint work when the competitors are charging $450 and they charged me $1200 for the flasing and ruined it and ruined my house, yet to fix it but want to be paid in full. I spent $150 for the home inspector as they are not honest. They are telling me, it is tough to find out what the problem is. Is it not their business?? They try to send another team(Aaron and Grant) yesterday and since I already scheduled with home inspector at 8 am I asked for a different time and date. They are yet to call me and schedule to do something about the mess they created. I want Angie's list to resolve this issue.

Great initial response. When technicians for initial estimate was delayed, they quickly filled in with another to keep process moving on timely basis. When 1st technician had trouble with complexities of old house and multiple solutions needed , they quickly sent more experienced tech for 2nd opion. Then work scheduled quickly. Rain delay and some confusion on re-scheduling but quickly and perfectly followed up to complete .

We bought package through Angie's List. I called to schedule a time for them to come out. They were very busy and had to schedule for the following week. While we had some fear due to shingles having blown off from heavy winds, there was no rain forecast. They actually called early the next week and were able to come out two days sooner than scheduled. The tech was very professional. He replaced the missing shingles and inspected the roof. He provided a detailed report on the roof and did not recommend replacing at this time. It has a few years of life left. Overall very professional. We did have some issues with billing department who sent a bill for an emergency repair service, which we didn't have. But it was resolved through a couple of calls with them.

EXCELLENT--A SUPER COMPANY TO WORK WITH! Tracy in scheduling was wonderful to work with--she called me to make an appointment within minutes after I bought the package. I had just called Angie's List regarding the Big Deal package--$145 for up to $350 of work, and purchased the maintenance package over the phone. This was absolutely the best buy I have made this year! I was able to get an appointment for the next day! The technician Hector arrived right on time. Hector is an absolute professional--he listened to my concerns over the vent leak, went into the attic to see if there were any other roof issues, went out to get needed supplies for the repair, and then started work. I could not be more pleased. I also liked everyone I talked with at the company--all were polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am so thankful to know of an honest, reliable, and good, trustworthy, family-owned and family-run company to work with. I see why they are winners of at least 10 Super Service Awards! I will definitely use them in the future!
