Bone Dry Roofing

The disappointment is that I can't get a return phone call. I was asked to call once I've settled with insurance company and have heard nothing for about 5 weeks. I've left periodic messages.

Bone Dry was difficult to get hold of, but once I finally got through, they sent a inspector, who said I needed a new roof. The insurance company agreed, so bone Dry replaced the roof and did a fantastic job. Virtually no trace of work items and the roof looks great.

They were here for 2 days, cleaned up, and everything was wonderful. We had 5 estimates and this company was well within the range of another excellent company.

They do an excellent job of public relations. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I would be more than glad to recommend them to anyone who needs them. They do have a problem keeping up with their phone calls but they are very good. That may quiet down after the hail storm issue.

Randy and the personnel from Bone Dry were extremely professional, courteous and dependable. We wouldn't hesitate using them again (hopefully we won't need them) and can recommend them for any roof work.

I have used Bone Dry for roof repair in the past and was very satisfied with their work, however I am extremely disappointed with the damage assessment service they provided on this occasion. Did they employ unqualified inspectors to perform this service due to overload of requests? I would recommend anyone who was told they had "no significant damage" by Bone Dry to get a 2nd opinion!

Called for and estimate. Never called back.

My overall experience with this company was not good. I sent a request to them via their website for an estimate for hail damage. Note, their website says 'Thank you for contacting Bone Dry Roofing. We will respond you as soon as possible (usually no more than 24 hours).'. After a little over a week of no response, I placed a call to them. When I got through to a scheduling representative, I was told it would be September before they could get around to an estimate. Two months from the day I called them. I verified I was only looking for an estimate and she said this was the best she could find... she made sure it was clear that she was doing me a favor by giving me a cancelled opening since they did not respond to my email. It is clear to me they have no interest in my business and are too busy for a simple estimate, taking no longer than an hour of their time. A simple email within a week would have been nice to tell me they are too busy and not interested in any new business.

After leaving my name, address, and phone number, I have never been called back. That was 8 weeks ago. My initial impression is a company with sloppy customer service that doesn't want any more work. If they can't get this part right, I'd hate to hire them for an actual job.

Overall nice job. Workers caused some minor damage to driveway and screened porch. This was brought to my attention and paid for by Bone Dry by reducing my bill by the amount to cover repairs. Everyone makes mistakes and they took responsibility for them. I would let them bid on any future jobs.

They did the work. So I have to give them a passing grade. However... Their excellent reputaion is based on their business practices before the "Good Friday Hail-storm of 2006." The primary issue is poor communications. I found it hard to get anyone to answer the phones, and just as hard to get phone calls returned. NOTE: Your best shot is to contact via e-mail from their web site. Expect a 2 or 3 day delay. Also, the gutter crew, admittedly a sub-contractor, did not show up on the day that they were "scheduled." A representative from Bone Dry called in advance to tell me they would be there on a Monday. I called Bone Dry that morning, and eventually got a return call that same day! I was told that I was definately on the schedule. But by 1:PM I called the gutter contractor directly, only to be informed that I had been mis-informed. I know they've been hammered by the hail storm. However, my current recommendation - don't call them right now.

They were efficient, quick, & cleaned up- perfect.

In the meantime, our insurance company now states that we need a full roof replacement, not the partial replacement they'd originally called for, so we need to go through the process of getting estimates again. Over the 6 weeks, I have written Bone Dry a letter, faxed them, e-mailed them, and called them over a dozen times (including on the Angie's List "hot line"), leaving a half dozen messages, both on a recorder and with a live individual. I know they're busy, but find it inexcusable that any business, no matter how busy, can ignore so many repeated requests for work made in so many ways by one household. We'd like to get an estimate so we can consider getting on the schedule for fall, but if no one contacts us, this can't possibly happen. What's up with you guys? If nothing else, our partial roof should've already have been done by now.

We called Bone Dry to come out and check a roof leak, we were told by their representative that we would hear back within a few business days, that was over 3 weeks ago and no one has called us. We have since moved on and called another roofer to repair the problem.

There were problems with our roof in 1 place and they've come out a few times to try to fix the problems but never accomplished a solution. Their responsiveness was not good on fixing the problem and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone after spending $11,000 and now having to find someone to fix their problems.

This was middle of June and I have still not heard anything from Bone Dry.

They came without incident. They stuck to their estimate. Although they stated they may be three weeks out, they came prior to that and repaired.

My call was returned promptly and an estimate was done 2 days later. They were priced just a bit higher than the roofer we chose, but under the other estimates we received.

They wanted me to guarantee that I would use them before they came out to give me an estimate. I would never use them.

They are just excellent in every respect.

I had no problems with them except that it was a black roof and for some reason the black doesn't match. I guess if it doesn't leak, that's a good thing. They did clean everything up when they were done.

Although backed logged since the storm, the owner of Bone Dry came to my house on a Sunday to inspect my home. I had no damage, but I appreciated him coming to check for me.

We had a leak caused by an ice dam. Jimmy responded quickly to give me an estimate. He seemed very knowledgeable and was early for our appointment. He did let me know that they were extremely busy due to the recent hail storm so my repair wouldn't occur for about six weeks. It actually took eight weeks for them to do the repair, but it was finished in one day and the crew cleaned up after themselves. The leak has stopped.

I called Bone Dry roofing today about receiving an estimate on a roofing gutter job. The receptionist stated she was told and I quote''It would not be until September before anyone can come out for an estimate,but if I made a verbal commitment to have the job done they could come out the next day''. Now from what I've read they're one of the best,but the above statements got me wondering. That's the first time I've ever been told that. I'll fill out another report about the out come.

Sent email to request quote for roofing repair. Company never replied. Went with another company.
