Bone Dry Roofing

About a week after they repaired the roof we had another company come in to clean up the attic and put in insulation. A leak was discovered (in another part of the roof which was not included in the repair work done). I called Bone Dry and explained that the insulators were in the middle of their work and that the leak would damage the insulation. They sent someone right out, repaired the leak (they had some supplies left from the previous week, and did not charge me for the repair. I really appreciate the way they stepped up to help me out.

The estimator showed up on time. He provided a fare price.

Estimator appeared on time and reviewed problems. (Ridge vent had blown off in storm and although fixed by a different contractor, that contractor recommended different venting system.) Also provided general review of roof status. Explained options for attempt to repair roof leak in garage - more expensive v. less expensive. Accepted less expensive alternative with understanding it may not resolve problem. Also accepted bid to replace vent system with Shingle Vent II and cap system. Estimator believed improved vent system would help with cooling on second floor. Work was performed without advance notice and earlier than expected - we didn't know it had been performed until we found bill in front door. Generally cleaned up area well - only a few stray nails found. Jury out on whether repairs successful/beneficial: roof has leaked in same spot, but only once; no noticeable improvement in cooling upstairs.

From the estimate experience through the clean up after the work was done everything went quite well

Excellent work on the pipe boot and caulking our soffit. A few days later I received a phone call asking for feedback on their service. On 4/26/09 due to high winds several of the shingles flew off. We called Bone Dry on the 28th, they cameout on the 29th fixed the problem at no additional charge. Excellent service and when they say they will comeout at a certain time that is the time when they arrive.

They were very reliable, very businesslike, and quick. They completed the entire roof in a two day period.

We were very impressed with Bone Dry's professionalism. They completed 90% of the work in one day and returned the next day to finish the job. They were all friendly and courteous. They also did a nice job of cleaning up the work site upon completion.

Over the past couple of years, I've had about 4 roofers look at my roof trying to help me understand what was going on with it. Randy Judd was the very first one who took the time to actually go into my attic and work with me to pinpoint the cause of the leaks and water seepage. His assessment was well thought-out and completely explained for me some of the problems that we have had. His answers were not off-the-cuff or dumbed-down explanations. He knows what he is doing and understands how a home's roofing system functions. Randy explained each item on the estimate in detail, helping me to understand what my house did and did not need and why. When we made the decision to go with Bone Dry for our roof replacement, the office staff was so easy to work with. Toni in the office does a fabulous job coordinating everything that needs to happen. We were not at home on the day of the actual roofing, but our neighbors who were home told us how impressive the crew was. The landscaping was protected and even though the mess extended into my neighbor's yard, the crew cleaned up that yard as well. The only thing that I was not thrilled with was that the gutter cleanup was not what it should have been. After a couple of days, we had nails that were left in the gutters coming out of every downspout. Unfortunately, one of our downspouts empties right onto our driveway. Because there were so many nails, we did spot them and pick them up ourselves, but I still ended up with one tire with a roofing nail in it. To their credit, Bone Dry offered to pay the repair bill and immediately apologized and sent someone back out to the house to run the magnet around the yard again. We will continue to use Bone Dry for other projects that we need to have done around our house and would recommend them very highly to others.

They were great and did a great job. They cleaned up well, even with us having a lot of landscaping close to the house.

As far as I know it hasn't leaked yet, so they did alright. They responded well and came quickly. As far as I know I'm pleased with them. I would hire them again.

The workers were very polite. They knew their job and did it on time. They did the work for the cost they quoted. We have no complaints about anything. We would absolutely hire them again.

Kevin Redden did a good job. He was very conscientious and punctual. He came when he said he would and even did a couple of little jobs without us asking him.

I called on Monday and an appointment was made for Wednesday. The workers showed up promptly and were very courteous. Since I had saved the shingles that had blown off they were able to replace them and save expenses. They also recaulked the area. I was very pleased with the response.

After a rainy and windy night, we found shingles on our deck and a wet ceiling in the house. I called BoneDry because we had used them in the past...this was Friday, Jan 2nd. The receptionist said that someone would be able to come on Tuesday. I assumed that someone would be coming on Tuesday to replace the shingles, but actually it was someone to give me an estimate. He discovered the loose gutter that I was unaware of. I approved the estimate, because he said someone would be able to get to the roof right away. (I was getting nervous about the wet ceiling). After a couple of days, I called again, then someone showed up that day. About 6 weeks later, the ceiling is wet again, so I called BoneDry again, and had an appointment in three days. This time the service man fixed the problem immediately (sealed around the chimney pipe that was in the same area). NO CHARGE.

Basically as stated above. Great company and customer service! Now moving on to the plumbers!

They are very prompt and professional. We have been very satisfied with our roof they installed. The price was reasonable and anytime we had an issue they came out right a way.

They did an excellent job and were professional from start to finish. I have no problems with them. They charged me exactly what they quoted me and they did a good job.

They have a good reputation and they've been in business for a long time. They're a local company, they're well-established, they're punctual. I gave them a B on price because it's a little high, but the quality of work is good. I would use them again in the future.

We contacted BDR in late December and within a couple hours, they were out to evaluate. The workers were very professional, and very prompt. The next day, Randy Judd came out and reinforced what the two guys the previous day told us was a ice dam on the roof next to the chimney. Our roof is only 4 years old, but at the time of the leak, I was willing to pay whatever, to get it corrected. Instead of charging us for a service that was not needed, they took the most ethical approach and did not charge us for work that did not need to be completed. BDR being such a large company, I didn't expect such great customer service. If I have a roofing repair in the future, I know I will contact BDR. Thanks!

We were extremely impressed with the entire experience. The Exterior group came to work in August very promptly after our call. They did a good job, but for some reason the leak came back a while later. After a quick call to their customer service department, they quickly scheduled an appointment for them to come back again. They were extremely professional and responsive. I did no arguing or complaining. After fixing the exterior, they were able to schedule an appointment with the Interior group. They were also extremely professional and polite. They did a phenomenal job in my house. It looks brand new. I have never written reviews on Angie's List, but always use the website to select service providers. This time I felt I had to write something because Bone Dry did such a phenomenal job!

I was neutral about the experience. It's not completely done yet but there are negative & positive aspects about it. Working with them so far they've been pretty professional.
