Bone Dry Roofing

It was an emergency. They were very responsive. Ice storming was happening and they did what they could do to get here quickly. They did a good job. I would use this company in the future.

We returned from vacation to find two water spots (dried) on our ceiling. We called Bone Dry and they were out within the week to give us an estimate (even came out on a Saturday when my husband was home!) I felt the price was high, but I don't do roofing, and I didn't want my husband on the roof! They said someone would call the next week and make an appt. to come out and do the repair. I got a call that Monday and the repair man was on his way to my house. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get home to see what they actually did, but the spots were dry after the horrible rain storm we had 3/1/11. So, I assume they did the job right! The repair man noted on my invoice that he noticed another area that needed caulked and did it free of charge. We were very impressed with how quickly they were out to do the job, and very thankful after the big rain we had the following week. They even had someone make a follow up call to make sure we were pleased with their work.

The job was done in a professional manner. I was satisfied with the quality of the work and the outcome of the service provided. One of the manager's made it a point to stop by a few days later to make sure I was completely satisfied.

I called Bone Dry monday morning 10 minutes before they were scheduled to open and a woman answered the phone. She was on her cell phone walking across her parking lot and opened the business door while I was on the phone. She then proceeded to schedule my appt. that same day. The service team came out within the time frame given and immediately began to get up on the roof and remove at least 2 to 3 inches of ICE plus snow. The lead person of the 3 man team explained what an ice dam was and how to prevent it. They then threw a "green" salt on the roof and into the gutter to melt the remaining ice. Problem solved.

The service was pretty good. They were on time for all the appointments except the bathroom fan. There was apparently some mix up and they were a day or too late. Still once I got them to work the quality was excellent. Their prices are reasonable and they are quite friendly. Would recommend for further work.

They were at my home to estimate the job within two hours of my first call. Turned out to be an ice dam issue. Although the repair was scheduled to take place in about ten days, they called to ask to do it earlier as an ice storm was moving into Indianapolis. The came out and quickly did the repair in the AM and the ice storm hit us in the PM. Roof was great after the repair and the probably helped us avoid additional damage from the second ice storm.

Bone Dry Roofing were very professional in getting the job done and all the workmen cleaned up the yard afterwards. (they did have large trucks to catch the old roofing as it came down so that it did not drop onto the yard or the shrubbery around the house). I really appreciated the way they took care of my property so as not to damage anything.

They are a good roofer. They have always done a good job and their roofs don't leak. It was very expensive. I am calling them now to check on the roof because of the storm we have had.

We've used them before and they are always good. We are pleased with their prices. They are prompt, courteous and they do a good job.

Originally estimated 3 days to get us scheduled, but they were able to schedule the day after we called. Quick during a busy time -- ice storm 2011.

Bone dry was very prompt with the estimate and as soon as the weather improved they were quick to get the job done. I have used this company before and can highly recommend them.

They did the roof fine, but it was the details that weren't done like the trim. They put the windows in and they did the trim on the outside. We weren't really happy with it.

Went GREAT. Very professional and courteous. Very reasonably priced. They broke 1 shingle and wrote on invoice that they would replace it free when weather turned. They noticed a couple other issues for me to be concerned about but were not pushy just informative. Really great experience. If the other folks they have do work are as professional and courteous as these guys were today they have a customer for life.

They came out same-day and gave me an estimate. But then, good luck. I couldn't get anyone out to actually perform the work. I kept calling, and all they could tell me is that "hopefully someone will be calling you soon to get this scheduled." Are you kidding me?!?! I had an active leak into my attic, and they were aware. For 2 weeks, every time I called (b/c they surely weren't calling me), they just kept telling me that I was "in the rotation, and at the top of the list." I finally went with ABC Roofing, who got the job knocked out within 1 week, and for $300 less than the estimate from Bone Dry.

We were very happy with them. They had a good price, and they did great work. Also they were extremely responsive and punctual.

Everything went great. They did the entire project in one day, which is pretty impressive.

I called them on Monday and explained my problem. They were out by the following Friday to fix it. They have always been very responsive and prompt.

A Bone Dry rep came out to the house for an estimate on roof repairs and came exactly when he said he would. He got up on the roof and provided pictures to show what repairs needed to be done and a full explanation of why. (We knew we had a leak due to a wet and stained ceiling after one of our windy storms in the late fall.) The only "problem" had nothing to do with the work done. I would have apprecaited hearing more than a couple of hours ahead when they were coming to do the work. We missed a message on answering machine left that morning, and my kids were surprised by the roofer's appearance at the house. Everything was handled well by the roofer and the company once we realized what had happened.

see above. Total roof job took 8-1/2 hours total for exterior and about the same for the interior cutting and finishing of the skylight.

I called Bone Dry and was told a person would stop by to evaluate the damage. Initial evaluation visit was made the same day I called. We went onto th roof and surveyed the damage. I told him that I had shingles from the original batch. It was during this visit that I was told that there was a $250.00 minimum fee. I felt that I might have been told this when I made the call. He told me that since it was such a small job they would furnish and install a rubber casing around a vent stack and would also replace one of the cap shingle section on the ridge line to at least provide more work for the minimum price. I was not present when thy did do the actual work. My wife reported that thy were professional in their contact. I did survey the work and believe that the work was done properly.

Everything went well. From start to finish, the salesman was professional, answered all of my questions, and never pressured me to purchase unnecessary services. The crew was great as well.

The whole process from start to finish went extremely well. My saleman was very patient and helpful when crafting the estimate and later when selecting the color and type of shingle, as well as the gutter color. On roofing day he came by and even went up on the roof to assist the crew. I was impressed with how fast they got the job done including the clean-up. The gutters were done the next day in the same efficient manner. I am totally pleased with the results. I would recommend Bone Dry without hesitation.

I received estimates from three firms here on Angie's List. The main driver for using Bone Dry as opposed to the other providers was that they worked with my insurance company to get them to cover my claim, which State Farm had previously denied. (The roof was damaged by a hail storm about three years ago. At the time, everyone in our neighborhood but us got new roofs. State Farm claimed we had just $475, conveniently under our $500 deductible. When our 14-year-old roof started leaking badly, I wanted a new opinion. This urge was bolstered by the fact that I found out there was a Dept. of Insurance investigation regarding State Farm's response to claims after that particular hailstorm.) The first firm thought I had to get the roofing manufacturer to say the roof was failing because of the storm. The second said there was no way to prove that the damage was hail-related. The second firm's estimate was about $1000 less than Bone Dry's, but Bone Dry replaced my box vents with ridge vents. The Bone Dry salesman, Danny, spent a long time on my roof in 85+ degree weather before coming down to give a verdict--much longer than the other two reps. He immediately replaced a cuff around a vent, stopping one leak--something the previous two salesmen did not do. Then he told me that he saw obvious signs of hail damage and asked if another Bone Dry rep could come out and look too. This rep, Mike, ended up spending over an hour on my roof on another sunny hot (90+ degree) day convincing State Farm to cover the claim. I don't know what he did, but the State Farm guy wrote me a check, and they covered everything except my deductible and the upgrade to better shingles (about $1200 total). The Bone Dry crew arrived right on time, did almost the entire job in one day (staying until 7 p.m.) They took care of a couple loose ends promptly the next day. Later I found that a gutter was leaking, and when I called to ask about it, they sent someone out right away. He recaulked the gutter, saying that the jostling from the roofing might have knocked the caulk loose. He also checked all my gutters making sure that wouldn't happen anywhere else. Overall, I am delighted with the work performed by Bone Dry.

We found some damage to our roof line after a wind storm. My wife and I thought that was the cause of the damage and called Bone Dry based on neighborhood recommendations as well as looking them up on Angies list. Their sales person Don showed up as promised on time and immediately checked the roof. He found, and took pictures of the damage to the roof that we had seen, plus 6 or 7 more areas we could not see. To our; and his amazement racoon tracks, hair etc. were found at all locations. Damage to guttering also occured. Don immeditely proceeded to protect the areas from a storm that was brewing, prior to giving us a quote to insure we were ok. When he quoted us the figure for rooing and guttering we were very happy and requested they proceed, and we signed the contract. The rest is history, they completed the job guttering and all, went above and beyond what they quoted and all there personnel were proffessional, effecient and clean. Thank you Bone Dry.

I was very impressed and happy with the work done. The salesman, Tim Jones, was patient with us and helped immensely in picking out the color of shingles. The workers came when scheduled, and because there was rain in the forecast for later that day, they sent two crews (18 men) and were finished with the job in 5 hours! A supervisor was on-site at all times. They left the grounds clean; we have not found even one roofing nail on the ground. They left one bundle of shingles for future repairs, and when the supervisor put them into my garage, he noticed pieces of plaster from the garage ceiling on the floor. Bone Dry sent a crew of two painters to repair the textured ceiling, and now you would never know there was damage. I highly recommend this company!
