Bob gave me a fair quote on the phone and said the cost would be lower if I bought the toilet myself at Home Depot. He told me the model to buy and I did that. He said he'd come out after I'd done that and he came out the following day. He called first, arrived promptly and replaced the toilet very efficiently. He is a master plumber and I could tell the difference. My water feed pipe broke from corrosion and water was spraying everywhere. He rushed to the well pump and turned off the water, came back upstairs and soldered a new copper fitting in place along with a new stainless and chrome valve. He added on a very reasonable extra fee for this unexpected repair. Even with this extra cost, his total fee was more reasonable than two competitors I'd called. Before he left, he put the packaging for the new toilet in the recycling bin and the old toilet in the trash bin. He was friendly and informative every step of the way. I will call him again for any plumbing needs.

He came in looked up at our entrance to attic said he could not fit in Threatened to bail out of job several times Worked two hours in my furnace and water heater closet Said he fixed 3 leaks Charged me 564 dollars for partial leak search Only searched the two gas pipes in water heater closet Most of our pipes are in attic and he doesn't fit into it $854.22 to repair 2half inch pipes and gas shut offs Never pressure tested pipes Said my hose smelled like cat per That is the truth Said our pipes were fixed We Paid $1460.83 Gas company person arrived to test our pipes they still leaked Called Bob He argued with gas company person on my speaker phone Don't walk from him Run I was ripped off

This guy has a very strange way of doing business. He wouldn't call me on the 'phone and would only communicate by text. He wouldn't make a specific appointment; he just said he would be here "tomorrow". Well, "tomorrow" came and I stayed home. He texted me around noon asking me if I were ready. I texted back 3 minutes later and he texted that I had not responded in time and had missed the "window". Unless you like playing "text tag", I wouldn't recommend him at all. He couldn't care less about you, or your plumbing.

Bob came over on the same day that I called, arrived exactly on time, giving me a 40 minute "heads up", diagnosed my problem to be a "containment" rather than a plumbing issue, advised me the remedy and refused payment for the estimate. I will happily call him again!

The initial job was done fairly well. Our only complaint was the clear caulk (silicone) he used at the base of the toilet was all over he place. All over the tile floor, base of toilet and up the sides and even on the lid. I texted him about this and he said I could peel it right off in a few days. It did not peel off. I texted him a picture, showing him the difficulty I was having removing the silicone. He offered to come over to take care of it. He was at our home for quite awhile working on it. I checked on him 4 times. I went to check on him again and he was gone. I looked out my front door and his truck was gone. I found this odd. I went back up to my bathroom and found he had damaged the toilet and the baseboard behind the toilet. The toilet is all scratched up at the front, sides and the paint was removed from the baseboard behind the toilet. I took pictures (attached) and sent them to him via text and told him how disappointed I was. He was extremely rude to me at which point I ceased communication. I would not want a person who acts like this in my home!!!!

"We came back and the caulking was peeled off by hand and rubbed up by hand like a sun burned skin that's why we were there so long on the second visit and the damages that you are claiming are preexisting the second visit. The chaulking is clear if you have pre second vist photos I would be happy to submit an insurance claim for you."

Very prompt service. Easy to schedule and great communication. Mostly through pictures and test messages. Cleared drain and corrected leak. Rebuilt water closet back to keep from running. Tub drain was clogged the next day. He came back the next day and corrected the new clog for free as it was the same drain pipe.

Even though Bob had promised during our phone conversation for a visit charge of $85 to do what takes less than one hour
for the price of the visit, when he came it it offered to clean a slow bathroom drainage for another $185, or pay his $85 for about 5 minutes visit. BIg guy put a too much in my view hand and body power to the bathroom drainage upped end during bath inspection. I am surprised it has not been broken.

"Iam sorry but I don't understand this review it was an $85 service call to diagnose and quote a price to do work and in your case there is a drain stoppage and there's no way to tell how long it will take to do those but you were quoted a flat fee of $185 you chosen in this instance not to have the work done so you are simply charge the $85 trip and diagnostic."

Bob the plumber responded to my call within an hour and fixed the problem in 10 minutes or less. I assumed I was going to be in for an expensive repair or a new system (most service providers that come out from Angie's List tend to try to sell new systems for better or worse), but he was able to make a slight tweak that stopped my basement from flooding.
He certainly earned my trust and I would definitely use him in the future for my plumbing needs. I wish they all could be this good!

Emailed this contractor though Angie's List on 4/4/2015 with details about a plumbing issue. I asked to set up an appt. so they could assess the problem and provide a quote for the work. I never received a response.

Was working on a shower faucet DIY project and couldn't get the device to work properly.Called Bob and he was able to fit me in the very next day. After a few minutes, he determined the pipe had frozen while I was making the change out. He gave me suggestions to help the thaw and told me I had done everything else right. Didn't even charge me a trip fee. Why would I ever call anyone else? Honest, fair and timely!

I called Bob's office at around 4 pm and they scheduled me the same day between 7 and 8pm. He ended up being able to arrive by 6:30 and was finished by 7pm. He quoted a price on the phone of $85 and tried to use the replacement parts I had. When he realized that was inferior he had his young apprentice get a new valve and fixed the problem for an additional $15. I was extremely pleased on his timeliness and they didn't make a mess. Bob is very down to earth and pleasant to talk to. A bit sweaty from a long day's work and I would only recommend keeping a fresh shirt for work later in the day for clients.
