Bob came to the house and inspected the roof. He also met with the insurance adjuster to examine the roof and discuss the problem. Once we selected the roof, they ordered the supplies and removed the old roof and installed the new one within a week. The job was done professionally and I felt very comfortable with the roofing team. I have used them twice since that time and have recommended them to friends.

A washer hose burst in my 85-year old mother's home, flooding the entire house including furnace ducts. She picked Bob's Construction out of the phone book. They responded quickly, and immediately started pumping water out of her house as well as the furnace ducts (home is on a slab). I signed a contract that night for them to continue drying out the house because I didn't want a mold problem. I did worry about signing something so quickly without having looked the company up on Angies List or doing any comparison shopping, but didn't want the house to sit and they had already started work. Although this was 'insurance work' with the insurance company paying for the work, it turned out that I didn't need to worry. They continued to "do the right thing", from making sure the house was completely dry before starting any reconstruction work, packing my mom's breakables in boxes before moving cabinets, re-painting, cleaning and putting everything back in the kitchen cabinets AFTER washing them. They accidently broke a couple kitchen items, and wrote us a check to cover them. Everyone that we worked with was very friendly & helpful, and I appreciated how solicitous they were with my mom. The work took longer than I had hoped (4 weeks) but I understand that they had other work to do, especially with the ice storm happening in the midst of it. Bob or his wife Kim were usually easy to reach and always called back when I left a message. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

The price was extremely high for the quality of work that they did. They also did drywall for me. It was a horrible experience. Their quality of work was unacceptable. They actually ended up stealing from me. They were dishonest in dealing with the situation. They were supposed to let the employee go, but we found out he was working on another site. We thought it would be handled internally and it was not. They had a trim specialist come out, who was in no way a specialist. I will not use them again in the future and I would not recommend them to others.

We signed a contract on June 8th to have an old wood deck replaced with a concrete patio with a retaining wall around the outside. The job was to start on June 21st. On August 13th, the job was finished. One of the things I made very clear to the estimator was that I had two large dogs and we use our backyard a lot. They told us it would take 4 days. I believe they only worked at our project for a total of 7 days but it took them 8 weeks from start to finish. We heard every excuse in the books from weather, to materials not being available, to sick contractors. If the job was well executed the materials would have been ordered ahead of time and available when they needed them. It wasn?t until we notified them that we would terminate our contract that the communication improved but it did not help expedite the process. However, we did not receive a call back from Bob, the company?s owner even though we left messages for him to call us. The sub-contractors were all very nice and did a good job but none of them were really aware of what they were to be doing when they arrived. It would have been nice if the estimator would have communicated with them ahead of time, thankfully I work from home and was available to answer their questions. Even though right now we are satisfied with the final product (however the final sealing and gluing of a limestone cap was not done), I don?t feel if I had any issues or complaints they would address them. I would not recommend this company or use them again because of this experience.

He was rood, unreliable, and he wasn't punctual. We weren't pleased. The roofing was fine, but he was not. We would never use him again. He was very rude.

We were favorably impressed. They were prompt and professional. We just felt better about another quote so we didn?t use them.

I recieved (5) estimates and Bob was not the highest nor lowest bidder, but it was his demeanor , professionalism and friendliness that drew me to him. I quickly realized he had my dad's safety and comfort in mind as he listened to my requests. He did not try to sell me the Taj Mahal , but a bathroom for a 88 year old man. When he found out that my Dad could not come home from the nursing home until the bathroom was complete , a game plan was put in place , work began and was finished as promised. After work was complete there was one slight problem , I made one phone call and the problem was quickly remedied. I knew right then I had picked a winner , there is always a chance for mistakes but a reputable company will always correct them , no questions asked.

The workmanship was good, they were clean and prompt.

Bob's Construction put a new roof on my Condo complex. I was happy from start to finish of the job. Before the project started Bob contacted me to see if I had any leaks or issues with my roof. I had been complaining to my HOA about birds in my duct work for a year. This was great for me so that I could let them know to look into the issue. The crew was quick and courteous of the residents. They left the area very clean when they left every night as well. The roof and gutters look great and I have not had any more bird issues!!! After the project was completed, Bob himself came to my house on a Saturday during the holidays to make sure that I was not having problems with nesting in my ductwork. Other residents had been having issues with this due to the previous roof. Bob and his crew were very courteous coming into my house and explained everything in detail. I thought this was very professional and some contractors would have just let this go!! Overall I was very very pleased with the job done and enjoyed working with Bob!!! I would hire him again and recommend him to any of my family or friends!

We knew we had hail and wind damage but wanted to confirm it by getting roofers to look at our roof and give us a quote. We called three companies to come out, I had never had to get an estimate for anything in my life and my hubby was at work. On 6-22 the guy came out, I believe his name to be George he crawled around on the roof, wrote out his estimate and I signed it, at the time I was babysitting for three kids and caring for my own four while trying to keep my dog from running away ! It was caotic to say the least ! On July 22nd the guy from Bob's Construction called to ask about the roof, I told him that we had to decided to go with another company that gave us a better price(Bob's was the highest estimate)he said ok and hung up. 5 minutes later BOB called and told me that he was going to put a lein on my house and take me to court ! I was in complete shock and was bawling on the phone telling him that I had no idea what he was talking about,he said the estimate I signed was actually a contract ! I told him over & over that I didn't know that and that I was really sorry for the misunderstanding. All my children were in the car, and my little ones were crying because I was crying, it was awful ! BOB was a heartless human being that I would never want to meet let alone do business with ! I am not sure how this story is going to end, this all happened today. I will write an update when this awful business is over. Sorry so wordy, I hope my story is helpful.

Since I have not received a quote, not able to comment on this, except that the company did not follow through with getting me a quote, and I am on a time table to get this project completed.

They were difficult to get ahold of. They would say they would come but they wouldn't. They did not seem to be honest, they said they would send their best man and give his name and then someone else would show up. I would not deal with them again.

During the home inspection of our recently purchased home, it was discovered that a new roof was needed. We were hoping to wait until the weather warmed before beginning the work. During the rainy days of January, there were a few inside leaks. Because of this, Bob sent a crew out to begin the job when there was a break in the weather. They worked non-stop for three days to complete the job before the weather turned. I was extremely impressed with the crew and the work that they did. Bob came by daily to check on the crew and the work. I would definitely recommend this company and I look forward to working with Bob again on other home repairs.

They said they would be here by 9am and they never showed! I called them to see what was going on and they said they had no records of me setting up an appointment so the receptionist said she would call Bob and see what the deal was. I never heard back from her either!!!!

Bob scheduled for one of his employees to come to the house to look at the roof and the leaks. Bob's employee did not show up nor did he have the professionalism to call and reschedule. I called the employee and asked him if he was still planning on coming and got the "run around" about what a long, hard day he had. I had to call him, he did not call me. I called Bob the following day to explain what happened and Bob belittled me over the phone and cussed me out for about 2-3 minutes. I would never recommend Bob's Construction for doing any job because of his lack of professionalism and the way he treated a potential client on the phone. NO WAY!!!

Good points: The roofers arrived on one of the two days they said they would to do the work. The shingles were layered well on the roof and the specifics I asked for with the vents and chimney were done. Bad points: The owner of the company does not keep in touch well. I always had to call him to inquire about different things. When the job did begin on the roof it was after 3 p.m. when it was still 107 degrees out. Other roofing contractors I heard from others started at 5 a.m. and finished around noon time. I am concerned that with the late start and then finishing late in the evening after 9:30 p.m. that the roof might not last as long as five years. It rained today and I took a look through the house and did not see water nor in the attic. It is a good sign but as to the longer term, again I am not sure that the roof will be as good around five years from now.

OVERALL I WOULD RATE THE EXPERIENCE AS EXCELLENT.

I'VE CALLED THEM SEVERAL TIMES, THEY GIVE A BUNCH OF LIFE PROBLEMS BUT NO COMMUNICATION BACK WHEN HE'LL RETURN. HE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY BUT DID NOT SHOW OR CALL. THE SURFACE OF MY CONCRETE IS NOW PEELING, THE CONCRETE CLOSEST TO THE DRIVEWAY IS NOT FLUSH WITH THE DRIVEWAY AND WATER RUNS UNDERNEATH IT. THE EDGES OF THE STAIRS THAT ARE CURVED WERE PATCHED TOGETHER. THEY CUT LINES INSTEAD OF SPACERS. THE LINES ARE CROOKED AS WELL.

BOB SAID HE WOULD CALL 24 TO 48 HOURS PRIOR TO COMING TO DO THE WORK. HE HASN'T CALLED AND IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH. AT THIS POINT, I'M GOING TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT WINTER AND FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR.

F- THE TILE IS CROOKED, GROUT LINES ARE JAGGED AND CROOKED, THE WALLS ARE NOT YET MUDDED, SANDED OR FINISHED FOR PAINTING, SPACKLE EVERYWHERE (NO DROP CLOTHS) BLEW OUT A ELECTRICAL BOX AND WE WERE WITH OUT POWER AND WATER FOR FULL DAY. BROKE ONE OF MY ART PIECES. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!!!!!!! AND THEY EVEN PULLED OUT A GROUND WIRE!
