BOB'S CONSTRUCTION

Truely a professional job overall. The crew was on time. They took care to watch what they were doing and not tear up the lawn. The crew leader Tom answered all my questions and was there to tell me what was going on. He told me every step that they were doing. Dave was my contact at Bobs and he was also very professional and aware of any questions I had. The job looks outstanding and im overwhelmed with the top notch job that was done. Can't wait to see it when its cured. Also the price was very reasonable.

I hired this company per an insurance claim to refoof and replace gutters. They did not tell me about possible trouble areas, like furnace/water heater roof vent, nor did they tell me my skylights might leak...nothing was mentioned about skylights. In late January while we wer having a heavy rain,water started leaking through my ceilings in the garage (roof vent) and my great/family room. Affter several calls , they sent the roofer back (he came several times.) and they could not find the leak...."temporairly fixed the roof vent over the garage and were to come back to repair it permanently. After many calls with Bob, Kyle and Matt, they decided that it must be coming from the skylights...and implied that they must have leaked before...I told them that I had NEVER had amu kind of leak in the great room before January. They offered no apology nor really seemed to want to work with me to resolve the problems. I had another roofing company assess my roof and windows and told me the flashing around my gas vent should have been replaced, one of the boots replaced for a bathroom was an inferior product, the roofing had not been trimmed properly around my roof vents and the "repair" work and flashing around the skylights was incorrect and slopy. In the meantime my ceiling is badly stained and part of the decorative spackle will have to be mended and then all repainted at my expense. I hired the other company to do the "clean up" work and they were great from start to finish and now I have not more leaks.

The entire process went very well. Workers were friendly, courteous, honest and clean.

The experience with them was great.They were pretty efficient. They did a good job and the roof is good so far.

Working with Bob's construction has really been a great experience. I don't do this kind of work myself so I've had lots of questions and Bob made sure to be there for me from start to finish. I had 3 different jobs done; roof, siding and gutter replacement. Bob was very courtious and professional. He came to the house several times throughout the different construction projects and always return my calls right away. He gave me a good estimate on the work and worked well with my insurance company. I got all the work I needed done and it didn't cost me anything extra. I have some other jobs I want to do in the future and when I'm ready I will call Bob's construction again.

Team consisted of Dave, Daniel, & J.P., all courteous & professional. All in all, they did a very nice job, but as job came to a close it was more a quick finish instead of a careful finish

They did finally include all of my requests in the contract.

Workmen arrived approximately Weds. morning, didn't have materials so had to go to the store; this happened a couple of times. I furnished Sherman Williams paint and primer, insulation, and metal covering for the window frames. Work continued to Friday evening when they were "done". I got home about 7:00 and looked at work and was very disappointed. Things that were to have been done weren't finished, work was substandard with cheapest wood used, knot holes evident on front of window boards, caulking not finished, painting not finished, etc. Called Dave and got voice mail, said I was very disappointed and wanted to talk to me. He had one of the workmen call me, which didn't sit well. Worker said they'd be back on Saturday to finish up. I hadn't planned on being home but rearranged work schedule. They arrived on Saturday and finished up about noon; some of the work was improved, some adequate, some not very good. DAve never did call me back, so he was obviously not concerned. I paid promptly and did not ask for any adjustment for materials I provided. Workmen left cigarette butts, old caulking, nails, etc. around work areas; no evidence of consideration for my property. Workmen were polite, but this is supposedly a family owned business concerned about quality. If you are looking for good quality and sincere consideration for your property and value for your money, keep looking. Would not use them again but they got me through a crunch before winter. Very disappointing, particularly as we have other projects we'll do this spring and summer. I found them on Angie's list and the meager review was fine.

Same as above. I will get someone else but will need Bob to update my contract for 8 year warranty like he promised. The other estimates that I had were given 10 years. Initially he had wrote the warranty for 3 years.

They did a wonderful job and followed through with everything they said. They completed the work very quickly and it turned out very good. I would use them again if I need more work on my home. The workers were clean and friendly and were very professional.

It went very well. The gentleman showed up on time and completed my project in a timely manner. He was very polite and clean. I would have Bob's Construction back anytime. The pricing is very fair and I plan to have Bob's Construction do my roof next. They are a very professional company who do very good work.

Bob's Construction dealt with everything start to finish. Insurance company, supplies, labor and everything else. Very pleased with everything.

They were prompt, courteous and took care of any issues that arose. I thought that the price was completely fair and comparable to other people in the business.

I found them on Angie's List. I can't think of anything negative about them. They went above and beyond. They were friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about them. The price was wonderful.

I wasn't as pleased with them at first because when they were knocking down the chimney, they hit a pipe which caused a lot of condensation to pour out of the pipe. But he came back, cleaned it all up, fixed the pipe and I was satisfied after that. He was professional and did what he said he'd do.

Bob's Construction, was on time, finished early and we are very happy with the results.

All of the work was done in a timely manner. This company was very professional.

Once Bob's Construction got everything approved through my insurance company, everything went smooth. All of the work was finished according to our contract, and I was very pleased with their work.

They were horrible. We didn't like anything. They tore up our yard and they were supposed to come back and reseed and they never did any of that. The workers almost got in a fist fight because one was bringing the concrete around to the back and the other one was spreading it. It looked like one of the guys wanted to switch jobs and the other guy wouldn't switch. They were very immature. They said they would give us 20 percent off if we signed the contract right away. They couldn't take anything off the quote because they said they had to give us more concrete than they originally thought. They poured it and it was just a mess. It was all different colors and it looked like crap. They came and sprayed some stuff on it and it did nothing. We told them that we were not happy with it so they came and painted it gray which we did not like at all. It doesn't go with our house. They did a horrible job and we were not happy with them at all. We would not recommend them. We thought the price was fair. We actually talked to Bob and he wouldn’t even come out and look. He said that was what he paid his people for.

I didn’t go with them. The guy was a young fellow. The reason I called them is because the aunt and uncle of the guy who came out were next door to my father’s house. His punctuality was quite good. He was pretty good. I have no clue about the type of work he does because I didn’t go with him. I might use them in the future.

I called Bob's construction and they kept juggling me over the phone from one person to another. Finally, a person said his name is BOB and he's the owner of the company. He asked what time should he be at my house to fix my leaky roof. I said 5 PM after work. He said that's too late for him. I said how about 4:30 PM, that's the earliest I can leave work. He said OK. We agreed for him to come to my house on Thursday 9/29/11 at 4:30 PM. He never showed up and never even called to reschedule or apologize. We had more rain and more leaks! That's no way to treat customers and I'll never call that company again. .

They charged us $4000 for their services. They did awesome work and we would have them back for the same thing.

I called one person to come and spray our basement with antimocrobial spray to kill possible mold from water damage and flooding. Three different people called me back who apparently didnt communicate because they all said they could come out. Someone did. He charged us 150 to be here ten minutes and spray our basement as requested. THen he had the nerve to tell me we could have bought the same stuff at Costco for 60... So I felt totally ripped off(which we were) In times of vulnerability - no one likes to be ripped off. Then a different guy gave us an estimate on remodeling the basement that was basically three times what it should have been. We got several other estimates so we know their mark up on materials and labor is ridiculous. These people are in the business of taking advantage of people... My insurance recommended them to be and since I trust my insurance people - I expected more. Wish I'd never used them.

We hired Bob's Construction to replace our roof and added the replacement of the gutters at the same timel. Bob was very prompt in making first contact and giving us an estimate. We hired the company to replace the roof and gutters. The jobs were done by two different crews. The roofing crew did their job first and were very efficient . We were amazed at how hard they worked to complete the job. The gentlemen who preformed the gutter replacement were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner once the date had been agreed upon. We did find that it was a little difficult contacting Bob.

They inspected my my roof damage,then came back and met with Insurance adjuster and they inspected the roof together. A few days after claim was approved, the crew was on my roof, removing 2 layers of roofing and replacing my roof. They were in constant touch and quick to correct anything that I felt needed attention.
