We had two estimates from other construction companies. Nathan Blackburn was the most professional and understood what we were looking for. We did not want to invest a large sum of money as we plan on moving in 3 to 5 years. We just wanted a  new more up to date look. Nathan gave us some ideals and had us go to some places to look at counter tops,back splash and flooring. We had some samples but were having a hard time trying to decide what to choose. Nathan showed us some of his other projects and was very helpful in suggesting what would look nice in our kitchen. The work progressed very efficienty. He arrived on time everyday, cleaned up at the end of each day and completed the project on time without using any sub-contractors.. We had all new appliances ordered but they could not be delivered until the next week. Nathan and his employee Bill offered to mount the microwave over the stove and install the dishwasher at a considerable price savings if i would go an pick them up.  They had to install a new circuit and plug above the stove in order to mount the microwave. Nathan was very pleasant and his workmanship is excellent. I highly recommend him. I will be using Blackburn Construction for some other home improvement projects we have planned in the future.

Nathan and Bill went waaaaay beyond the call of duty in building our Victorian-style garage-shop-and quot;carriage houseand quot;. They built an elegant building for us -- a BIG place -- around 1500 sq feet. People now stop by to ask who constructed the building and ask what it cost. I tell them and they call Nathan at Blackburn.
These guys were totally professional, and completely prideful in their work. A couple time I may have said, and quot;That doesn't matter.and quot; But it DID matter to them -- the structure built was as if the guys were building for themselves.
Incredible experience. I would use no one else in the Indy area in the future, regardless of the size or complexity of the project.
