Mr. Keller was very helpful. He listened to our request and then advised us on the least expensive way to accomplish what we needed. He invited us to send information & photos of the item and got right back to us with his assessment of the sale potential, a ballpark estimate of value, and connected us to an auction business that could sell it for us. He did not charge us for his time at all. We could not be happier—he understood better than we did that we didn’t need full appraisal services and met our needs without charging us (though he certainly could have provided services that were unnecessary for our situation and charged us for them, and we wouldn’t have known the difference). This is the very definition of integrity and trustworthiness! We will absolutely call him again.

Mr Keller was timely, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. He came to my home and began immediately assessing the items. He gave me time to take notes. Given that the cost of the appraisal was based on the time he spent I very much appreciated his focus on moving quickly, yet deliberately, though the items I had. I suspected that many of the items were of limited value and had hesitated to have them appraised because I didn't want to spend the money and I thought it would be somewhat embarrassing. But the overall cost (230$) was well worth finally knowing how to deal with many of these items and Mr Keller's approach was very professional and approachable. I had one item of artwork that was of uncertain value but Mr Keller gave me information that allows me to further pursue the value. And I had another item of limited value that I really do not want but am unwilling to simply give to away. Mr Keller gave me a contact that might be able to make use of the item. This was a very positive experience.

Great! I called and told him the scope of what I needed and he gave me an estimate. I took my items to his office and he explained some of the leg work I could do to keep cost down. He charged exactly what he estimated and sent two copies of a professional report to me very quickly. A very pleasant and informative experience.

It was great. The appraiser was Scott Keller. We set an appointment, he came out in my house. He took pictures of the painting. He created a report and sent a report about 4 days later. It had evaluation that had accepted by my insurance company. He did 3 paintings, each painting has story. He also suggested and referred a couple of painting restorers. I needed to get this done quickly so he made out on a Sunday. It was actually a really good job.

Scott responded quickly to our request for the appraisal. He arrived promptly and well prepared. He spent a significant amount of time assessing the collection, taking photos and checking the collection contents and condition. The appraisal was complete within a few days. When the recipients were ready to accept our donation, Scott delivered the appraisal documents and completed IRS forms ready for signature. The appraisal could could not have gone more smoothly.

Scott showed up at my mother's house right on time. He quickly walked through the house giving me information about individual pieces as we went. He then sat down and listed where I should go to sell the items. I was leery at first because he charges by the minute, but the whole process went a lot quicker than I thought it would. He was very efficient and knowledgeable about a wide range of items. I would definitely use him again.

Punctual and took about an hour to do a walkthrough and give general appraisal of the relative value of furniture and personal items in my deceased mother's house. Determined which were antique or had collector value. However, perhaps because this service was provided as a relatively low price walkthrough evaluation, they did not provide any written estimates, even with general dollar value ranges, and did not give any references of buyers to whom we might sell the items. Was patient and took the necessary time to examine items.

I had no idea where to go for this service. Thank you Angie's List! After reading highly regarded reviews, I called Scott Keller. He came to the house quickly, though we understandably had to reschedule because of the snowstorm. It was obvious he was extremely knowledgeable as he looked at my dad's items that included antique glass and furniture. He was thorough yet quick. A few days later, we received an extremely detailed, professional review of the contents and his estimate of value in a neatly bound book. For the more valuable items, he included "comps" of similar items that listed their sale value.
