BIG B TREE SERVICE

We were in the process of moving in to our house and he pulled up in his truck asking if we needed a tree taken down. We told him yes and paid him for it. There were a few other things we needed done and we agreed on a price. He was paid for the materials and never showed up again. He took the trim off from around our garage because he needed to match it at Home Depot to replace it. We never heard or saw from him again. We either want our money back or for him to finish the job that was started months ago. It's not a huge amount of money or a huge job, but we feel scammed by him.

It went fine, just as expected.  They cleaned up the area after they were finished.

It was a very strange encounter (I never expected a provider to ring my door bell to remove my tree!), but it was amazing! He said they were doing work in the neighborhood and would cut down, haul away and grind the stump all for $40! After just paying 3x that much to remove a tree from our last house I thought this was an unbelievable deal! Plus, if it was a scam, I was only out $40. They cut the tree right then and there. They did not have the stump grinder with them, but promised to be back and complete the job. I didn't want to have to wait around to pay them the next day, so I gave them the money then and took their word they would be back. Sure enough, they were back and ground the stump and cleaned up their mess. What a blessing they stopped by and we will use them again for future jobs!

The price was good, responsiveness fair, but work has never been finished. I still have a tree lying in the yard with all branches removed, but too big to handle without equipment, and 4-5 stumps that haven't been removed. Many calls for completion result in "I've been busy" and haven't forgotten. Not dependable, comes to work in the afternoon and stays until after dark, different hours different days and doesn't show for days at a time with no call. When the work is being done, it's efficient and quick; when they show up.

MR. WATKINS SENT A CREW TO CUT DOWN THE TREES. THEY CUT DOWN THE TREES. HOWEVER, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CUT THE STUMPS TO THE GROUND; THEY DID NOT (ONE OF THE STUMPS IS ABOUT 4 FOOT HIGH!). I STILL HAVE THE TRUNK AND ALL THE BRUSH AND LOGS IN MY YARD. IT HAS BEEN OVER A WEEK AND THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED TO FINISH THE JOB. THEY DO NOT RETURN MY CALLS.
