Ron arrived promptly, he has modern equipment, he did a thorough job, he corrected a problem with the hold pedal (an extra and unexpected service).

He was great, we talked about many things while he did his job. Piano sounds wonderful!

I was referred to Ron Berry by our former piano tuner who retired. Ron was great. Timely, Friendly, and allowed me to look over his shoulder throughout the event. He uses current technology as well as he tuned and rechecked by ear.

I recently received a free piano via someone at work. The only history I received with the piano was that at some time it had been in a church and stored in a garage. It appeared to be in good working order even though the outside was a little beat up. I called Ron Berry to see what it would cost to tune the piano. He estimated that it would be around $100 and that he would be able to repair a dead key. He arrived for the tuning. It took about and hour and fifteen minutes total. He explained how this particular piano has a 90 degree inner workings and how only a few companies manufactured pianos in this fashion. He also explained that the piano was in good working order and gave me an estimate of it's value. Total due was $100. I only had a minor complaint. He did arrive 15 minutes late. When he arrived, he explained that he was stuck by the train on 267 in Avon. I was beginning to think he was not going to show and would have appreciated a quick phone call. Overall, a good experience, and the piano sounds great.

Ron came out on short notice to look at an old piano. Based on the problems with the piano, he recommended that we do not repair it. He said the cost of a similar used piano in good condition would be significantly less than the repair costs for this very broken one we have. We appreciated his honesty and have taken his advice. The cost of the assessment was worth it to save on the end repair costs.
