I called on short notice and I wasn't going to be home when he was available to come. He was ok with me leaving a check for the cost to haul the couch away. When I got home the couch was gone and he had left the envelope with a written note that said "thanks". I would hire him again. He was friendly on the phone and was available when I needed him. Most of the companies I called didn't even answer and even days later didn't call me back. He was very responsive and got the job done!

They are very reasonable. They clean it all up and take it away. They are very clean neat. They are also reasonable priced.

Berning responded in a very timely manner and the amount charged was very reasonable. Will use again.

The job went better than expected. Chris was great to work with and was very reasonable considering the size of the job. Would enthusiastically recommend.

I called about an estimate which he gave me over the phone. He came and hauled everything away in two days time. He did a wonderful job and in a short amount of time. I thought his price was very reasonable for what he did. He came after I got off work which was a huge bonus.

Chris answered the phone promptly and I emailed him pictures of the piles of debris I needed hauled away. He quoted a price range of $300 to $350 for the amount of work which I thought was reasonable and much cheaper than renting a large dumpster. We arranged for a time a couple of days later. Chris and another man arrived on time with a large truck, they were courteous and professional, they worked quickly and cleaned up the yard after the debris was loaded. I definitely recommend Berning Hauling and would use them again.

I had some large boxes that wouldn't fit into my car. Mainly because of the Styrofoam. I wanted to take them to be recycle but the Styrofoam was the issue.

They did an excellent cleanup job.

It went very well. The storage barn was built extremely well so it took longer than he had anticipated. But he completed the demo with no problems. I would use his services again!

We had thought about renting a dumpster. After reading about Berning Hauling on Angie's list, we called him. It was much cheaper and we will use him in the future. He asked for a day's notice. I told him over the phone the type of things we wanted hauled and he provided a quote. We set a time for the next day and he called a half an hour before pickup time . We weren't finished, so he was willing to come later in the day. We had everything stacked in the garage, but he had told us he would help move things if needed. His truck was really large, so there was no issue getting everything into it. He charged less than the quote.

I called Chris at 9pm on 6/2 and asked if he could come on the morning of 6/4. He agreed and showed up on time at 8am. He quoted the job on site (I told him I'd have a pile of junk about the size of a car), and I thought it was very fair at $135. I had some errands to run, and in about 20 minutes, he was nearly finished and was very careful to be sure what stayed and what should be hauled away. He then started sweeping up the garage floor, which was an unexpected surprise. He seemed very conscientious and I would certainly use him again.

I called Chris the day before we would be done tearing out the fence. He was at our house the next morning, arrived when he said he would, and quoted a fair price. Very pleasant guy. He even swept the remaining twigs from the driveway. Would definitely use again.

Called Chris for an estimate, which was very fair and asked him to remove all material from property on Thursday 05/27/10, he called on wednesday 05/26/10 asking if it was okay to do the work that day because he checked weather and was worried that it would rain Thursday and he and son would track up the side yard grass. Chris is very pleasant to work with and does his job very well, will use this company again and will tell friends and family about the company. Chris also cleaned up the area when done.

Absolutely wonderful to work with. Called and the next day my driveway was clear for a fair price. Choose him b/c of his Angie's List grades and coupon. Will use again in the future.

We were having our crawl space sealed to help with radon issues, so we needed to get rid of junk left by previous owners. Berning Hauling was prompt and professional, and we would use them again.

I'm very impressed with Chris. When I told him my schedule, he re-arranged his to accomodate mine. He showed up on time, did a thorough job, was kind and thoughtful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

It was a great experience. I set up a time for them to pick up the trees and when I returned home from work the trees were gone. I was able to pay them after the work instead of immediately.

I had a fine experience with him. He was a cool guy. His price was fine, and he was on time.

Chris did a great job. I emailled him on Tuesday and he replied that evening with a range of price that was lower than the other two people I checked with. When I called on Wednesday to set up an appointment, he was very accomodating to my busy schedule. Thursday came and he showed up right on time. He had to carry the hot tub around the house to get it in position to pick it with his truck because the rain had left the ground to spongy to drive across the yard. The whole operation took about 30 minutes and my hot tub was gone, and all the insulation was picked up out of my yard. Considering it was pouring the rain as this was happening, I think the fact that he scoured the yard to make sure he got all the insulation up was going above and beyond. I will use Chris Berning Hauling again, and strongly recomend him to anyone else that needs to have hauling or trash removal performed.
