Bartlett Tree Experts has been providing scientific tree care since 1907. A 3rd generation, family owned business, our mission is the maintenance and care of the health and beauty of trees and shrubs. We are an international organization, with offices in Canada, England and Ireland. Our Research Laboratories advises us about the latest technological advances in arboriculture and assists our arborists with training updates. The laboratory networks with professionals at universities, government agencies, and allied industry groups. This enables us to provide state-of-the art procedures and techniques to our clients. Our arborists consult with other professionals for common projects and community interests. Our unique position in the green industry helps us further arboriculture as a science and a profession. We believe in providing pro-active property maintenance to avoid landscape problems or stop them early rather than “reactive” maintenance that is driven by situations and events. The work was completed when promised and well done. I had some tree pruning done recently, the head of the crew was cooperative but quite inexperienced.The master arborist with whom I worked for years has left and replaced by a junior arborist.

The crew was perfectly on time, they took down a aging quite tine tree that was going to fall, it was approximately 60 ft tall. They finished the work in half an hour, perfect clean up, no left over branches, wood chips and dirt. The crew was respectful of the property and was careful.

They are fantastic! This company is extremely knowledgeable. Michael Seybert is the person who diagnoses the issues with our trees and he is wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent work done on all but 1 tree. On that 1 small to medium size tree, both co-dominate leaders were trimmed back. My understanding was that only one of the co-dominate leaders would be trimmed.

The treatment went well. Poor responsiveness to inquiries by email and telephone re: scheduling was frustrating as gate needed to be unlocked to allow them to get to the tree.

An arborist (John Easley) came out and did a general analysis of the willow and other trees on our lot. We fully assumed that the willow would have to be cut down. John actually came up with a solution to have a steel cable support placed to preserve the tree. He also recommended that dead wood greater than 1" be removed. The crew that arrived were professional (no just out of prison, meth for breakfast, smoking and ******** types), quick, efficient, and left my yard with no residual damage. I would definitely use them again for any of my tree work.

The team from Bartlett, six men, worked hard from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, carefully figuring out each step and smoothly brought down the tree, piece by piece. I told them I didn't mind if they had to drop some branches in the garden, but they didn't ruffle one plant. I wouldn't have minded if they had accidentally hit the wooden fence at the base of the tree, but they didn't even give it a nudge. To my unexperienced eyes, this seemed like a difficult tree removal, since they were removing a large trunk 80 feet up, and trying not to damage the neighbor's maple that had saved the day--but their teamwork and carefulness was impressive as they lowered each piece on a pully. The unstable tree was anchored to an oak as back up in case the base, twisted and fractured, gave way. The crew chief told me he had been out to our house several times and reminded me about the work he had done in our other very large trees to keep them healthy and safe. They used a very tall hoist and fork lift, manuvering them around the sprinklers in our yard very carefully. I'm grateful for their work and their responsiveness. Rick made sure we understood that the tree was extremly tall and that we should stay very far away to stay safe. I apprecaited everything they did for us, keeping a bad situation from becoming terrible. Thank you very, very much.
