Marvin Ballard is very easy to deal with. He listens patiently and is extremely knowledgeable about computer issues. Within the first 10 minutes of looking into my laptop, he identified a problem that has been causing me grief for the past 6 months (since the guys from Geek Squad at Best Buy installed a new hard drive & installed Windows 10, BUT they neglected to also install/update the driver for my touch pad.) My touchpad became so weird and frustrating that I was ready to get a new laptop. But Marvin fixed my touchpad issue and also found SO MANY of my photos that the Geek Squad said they transferred to my new hard drive (but the photos DID NOT transfer over and I was heartbroken about that). But again, Marvin fixed that too by finding all the photos (still residing on my OLD hard drive) and transferred them to my new hard drive! He is kind, smart, efficient, and SO knowledgeable about computer stuff! He really helped me out and saved me from having to buy a new laptop!

Excellent! - He got the computer running better than ever for an extremely reasonable price. He chose the wireless card per my preferences, and it is working perfectly. I'll be taking all my future computer hardware problems to him.

Marvin is honest about his diagnosis, cost and parts. He shows you the issues you have with your electronics, and discusses the solution with you. His pricing is beyond reasonable, and his turn around is QUICK! He is professional, and personally backs all his work. We are dedicated customers!

Jim recommended certain laptops where he could swap out the solid state hardware from the old laptop to the new laptop so I wouldn't have to go through reinstalling software. I called him from Best Buys before I purchased the new laptop. That was very helpful.

Fantastic. Repaired broken power switch, and replaced dead hard drive with superior HD. Reinstalled all OS and upgraded security and antimalware.

He was able to repair it in about five minutes. Great service. Absolutely no complaints here, and we have found ourselves a new repair shop.

Mr. Ballard was very accessible and prompt in his repair.  He also included a hard case which will help protect the device.  He includes a warranty also.

Wonderful experience! My daughter cracked the screen on her iPad Mini. He got me in the morning I called and had the screen fixed within an hour for a fraction of the cost of other quotes. He threw in a free case for future protection and offers a 100% warranty on his work. I haven't had any issues, but it's nice to know I'm protected if I need it. Very friendly, knowledgable, and customer-oriented. I hope I never have to deal with a cracked iPad Mini again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call Ballard Computes.

My I-phone went blank Sunday morning. It was fully charged and when I called it's number from my land phone, it rang.  I use my phone at work and it has all my contact info. I called Ballard Computer, LLC and Marvin gave me the correct diagnosis over the phone and also gave me a price to repair it.  I made and appointment for 2:00 PM and Marvin promptly got to work on it while I watched and waited. You can't appreciate his work until you see how many tiny screws and parts that needs to be removed in order to replace the display. I was amazed by his skill and I highly recommend his service. I'm glad to have found a reliable and honest cell phone, I-pad, and computer person who will be doing all my future repairs.

It went great. It was fixed within 24 hours. He was punctual. It was beautifully and seamlessly repaired. It was far cheaper than several other places that I called.

Marvin was excellent to work with and extremely professional in his repair work. Clearly a man who cares about the quality of work he's turning out. So good to have someone able to do hands-on, top quality, local repair; no sending out and conveniently located on the far NE side of Indianapolis - just off Hague Road. Marvin is very knowledgeable and spent a good deal of time explaining exactly what repairs he would make and how. Disassembled the iPad in front of me and invested a good amount of time cleaning up previous (and quite sloppy) repairs done by others. Definitely has a place in my Contacts for any future computer, iPad, iPhone repairs and referrals.

Marvin was great to work with. He was reasonably priced and did both repairs quickly. Both look and work like new.

Marvin was 15 mins late for pick up at his office. Told me it would be done later that day or earlier the next morning. I called him later that day and he said it would be done later in the day and he would call. Called 8:30 am the next day and I could pick it up at 12:30 that day. I drove to his office ,he didn't have it. He forgot to bring it. Had to drive back 2 hours later.

Marvin sent me an email shortly after I left the message, asking me to call to clarify the situation. I called, and we spoke for some time. We discussed multiple options, but in the end he recommended me connecting the drive and utilizing some software (free for the first 30 days). He didn't have high hopes and didn't want to charge me when it was probably kaput. His advice was spot on and the hard drive was toast. I really appreciated his assistance, and free advice!

I called and described my problem, and Marvin said it would just take a few hours to fix. He was very flexible with his time. He works out of his home, which is fairly close to me, so I dropped it off and picked it up a few hours later. The $75 fee was considerably less than when I took another laptop to a computer repair store nearby about a year ago. Marvin did not reload all of the original software that came on my dell because he said that they put on a bunch of stuff that you really don't need. When I began working with the computer after I got it back, I did find one program that had not been reloaded that I needed. I called Marvin, and he walked me through giving him temporary remote access to my computer. He got everything loaded and running. He let me know to call if I had any other difficulties. I will definitely use him again if I have any other computer issues.

He is very good. He works alone. I have only seen him a couple of times. He comes over to our house and works on my computer which is very convenient.
