PILOT LIGHT KEPT GOING OUT IN THE NEW WATER HEATER THIS PAST WINTER. CALLED FRED DURING THE WINTER STORM (ON A SUNDAY, NO LESS). HE STOPPED BY AND CHECKED OUT THE PROBLEMS. KNEW EXACTLY THE CAUSE AND OFFERED A TEMPORARY SOLUTION UNTIL HE RETURNS WITH ANOTHER NEW HEATER. (TURNED OUT TO BE AN OVERSIGHT OF THE VENTING SYSTEM BY THE FURNACE/HEATING COMPANY). A NEW WATER HEATER WAS INSTALLED. PAID ONLY LABOR FEES.

THEY WORKED LATE IN TO THE EVENING. I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR RE-SEEDING THE AREA DUG UP.

$25 HOUSE CALL QUOTED ON THE PHONE. ONCE THE TECH ARRIVED IT WAS DISCLOSED THAT IT WOULD BE A MINIMUM OF 1.5 HRS ($190) CHARGE TO CLEAN THE DRAIN. THIS ENDED UP BEING ABOUT TWICE WHAT WE USUALLY PAY.
